00:33It's really funny, too, when she was talking to Portia in the premiere, talking about Cowboy
00:37Carter and Beyonce, and she's like, you know, Beyonce's seeing what I'm doing.
00:40And I was like, is Beyonce seeing?
00:41And then finding out Beyonce sent her flowers.
00:43I was like, oh, Beyonce's up to date on K. Michelle.
00:45Oh, no, no, K. Michelle, I give her that girl, that girl's status.
00:49I give her that.
00:50And she just seems like an immediate light, fun time, because we're familiar with her,
00:54of course, from all of her previous endeavors on TV and music and everything.
00:58And when she was announced, I was like, oh, she's going to bring up fun.
01:01Oh, she's fun.
01:02Fun and also seems like a sweetheart.
01:04Yeah, she's very vulnerable and she's loving.
01:08I think people have this idea, because obviously she used to be on Love and Hip Hop, but she's
01:14so evolved.
01:15She's so classy.
01:16I kind of got that just from watching the premiere episode.
01:19She has that discussion with Portia, and Portia's like, no, I think we should bring a
01:23different energy to this new friend group.
01:26Let's start out on a good note and a good foot.
01:30And I think that she listened to Portia, because she is bringing such positive energy.
01:35And for whatever reason, she is really getting along with Charles Oakley.
01:38They really vibed well at that one.
01:40I mean, they were besties, which was surprising to me.
01:44She was like, you know, Charles is an asshole, and I connect with that.
01:46And I was like, okay, K-Michelle.
01:49You knew Pinky Cole for a while.
01:52Over a decade, you said, right?
01:53Well, because she's in TV.
01:55She used to be a producer for Ayanna Van Sant Fix Your Life and Mari Povich's show.

02:07Well, I think she definitely is going to bring a lot to the show.

02:48And also, because I love, because I'm a vegetarian, I love Slutty Vegan, her restaurant, because
02:52she has one in the city, which is great.
02:54But then I saw she made headlines when she filed for bankruptcy, but she's letting people
02:57know that that's not as bad as it's, it's, is it, because you know I'm not that smart

03:45What do you think had to happen for you guys to turn a new leaf?
03:49Was it anything that she did or you did to kind of get to this better place?
03:53Well, I mean, well, she, she apologized.

03:57Yeah, that, that's the, you know, and I've been doing this for a long time.
04:01She was new last year.
04:03And so sometimes, you know, when you're, you're just starting on this journey, it can be hard
04:08to figure out what's real and what's not.
04:11And so, you know, we're in a different place.

04:14Oh, we love to hear that because you both are just such good energy because we've had
04:17interaction with her and she's so lovely.
04:19And I mean, we love you so much.
04:20And I was like, if they're, the link up between the two of them could be very legendary and
04:25would get some people a little, I was like, and like everyone would want to be on your
04:28guys' good side because that would be an iconic duo.
04:32Now, do Drew and Shamia get to a good or better place?
04:38I don't.
04:40I think you're going to have to tune in to follow up with that story.

04:45You know, it's ever evolving.
04:47What seems to just be devolving?
04:50Well, I mean, in the premiere episode, they kind of, they're cordial enough, but Shamia and
04:55Portia, when Portia was talking about the friendship in the premiere episode, she like
04:59very much referred to Shamia as her ex BFF.
05:03And then Shamia is like, my new BFF is absolutely Kelly forever and always.
05:08What do you, what do you think of the way that Portia and Shamia have kind of like, you
05:13know, called it quits on the friendship?
05:15It seems like none, like neither want to make the effort to repair things.
05:18Well, you know, you have to let people do what they need to do for happiness.
05:24And sometimes, I mean, friendships, just like we evolve as individuals, relationships evolve.
05:31And so, you know, you're not always going to have the same friend forever in your life.
05:38People change and situations change.
05:40So it's unfortunate that they're not besties, but they're able to coexist.
05:44I mean, they're obviously able to be in the same room.
05:48And, you know, I hate to see how some of the things play out this season, but at the same
05:54time, they're both big girls, you know.
05:58That's good.
05:58And I, I do hope, I feel like, because even when everybody was sitting down, there was,
06:04of course, tension, but I feel there was kind of like a unification of everyone being
06:06like, okay, we're in this together through ups and downs and everything, which I feel is
06:10very, like, just like the, like, you all are like a glue of Atlanta, like, supporting each
06:15other.
06:15Even when you might not always like each other.
06:16Yeah.
06:17I mean, and that's the thing.
06:20It's so few housewives.
06:22This is such a coveted sorority.
06:24And so, no matter what's going on, you know, when it counts, we're going to support each
06:29other and it's a real sisterhood.

06:33I mean, with the, the whole Shamia thing, I mean, even though she and Portia aren't getting
06:36along, I guess it's nice to see her getting along with Kelly and seeing their relationship
06:42evolve and see the two of them grow closer.
06:44What do you, what do you make of their friendship?
06:45Do you think it's authentic?
06:47Well, I hope so.

06:50I mean, they spend a lot of time together.

07:15And we caught up with Drew and she was doubling down and all that.

07:21Well, here's the thing.
07:22I'm never going to celebrate in someone's downfall because, you know, karma, you know,
07:30the pendulum swings both ways.
07:33So, obviously, Kelly's having some issues, you know, and, but all of us have had issues.
07:40Maybe not financial, but, you know, so I just, personally for me, if I see someone, you know,
07:46is having issues, I'm not going to knock them upside the head while they're already down.
07:50But, you know, we all, we all have different paths to take.
07:53Yeah, Drew knocked her a little bit.
07:56Yeah, Drew did a donkey cone.
07:57She did, yeah.

07:59Her man might have been on Zoom with her while she was talking about all of us.

08:02What did you make of all the Zoom dates at the party?
08:05The FaceTime dates.

08:20I feel he thought he was going to be on camera more than he did because he was like, hi.
08:24And I'm like, we're not seeing you.
08:26Speaking of flirty vibes, I love, well, first I was, when we saw Portia on the premiere with her boyfriend,
08:33I was like, her man friend, I was like, okay, what's happening here?
08:36And then the teaser for the second episode,
08:37we see her with her lady friend,
08:39who we are loving that it seems they are hot and heavy with.
08:41Hot and heavy, steamy.
08:43And it makes me so happy seeing Portia so happy in this new,
08:46like just being herself.
08:49She's happy.
08:50And Sway is just perfect.
08:51Sway just adores her.
08:53Yeah, why do you think they do make a good match?
08:55What is it about the two of them?
08:56Well, I think they complement each other.
08:58You know, they're both attractive people.

09:01You know, and so that makes it easier.

09:04Yeah, that's definitely helpful to look at someone that's good looking.
09:07And then personality wise, why do you think they're a good fit?
09:09Because Sway really is a super duper business woman.

09:17And Portia, you know, loves to be adored and she adores her.
09:21And so that's the perfect match for Portia,
09:24someone that's going to treat her like she wants to be treated.
09:26And Sway is going to do that every time.
09:28And I love to because I feel it's very,
09:30because I mean, of course, like the fans just love Portia
09:32and we've seen her on TV for so long.
09:34But I think it's so brave and bold of her to be like,
09:37this is what I am experiencing.
09:39Because I think she's kind of like discovering herself in real time through it.
09:43Yes, in real time.

09:44How were your conversations with her kind of about that evolving love
09:49and discovery she had?
09:50Because it's exciting to see,
09:52but I know it must have been very layered for her.
09:54Well, you know what?
09:55I just told Portia, be true to yourself and enjoy the moment.

10:02which that's good for my other business.

10:04They just keep dying every day.

10:10so we only have a short time here.

10:17And it seems like she's doing it pretty seamlessly.
