00:00Sox have this rotation. I'm not sure, you know, I don't think I know everything about these five
00:07guys. And I think there are three young players I'm waiting to come up and see if they can
00:11stick with the rotation. I just wonder how many starting pitchers do they use this year after
00:20having, you know, whatever it was, 17, 18, even 100,000 of them for God's sake last year.
00:29Yeah. You know, it's interesting, Molly. I think you could make the argument that a low number
00:33could be a really good thing for the White Sox in 26, or a very high number could also be
00:40a really
00:40good thing for the White Sox in 2026. Not only, you know, the three run guys that you mentioned,
00:44I'm sure you're referencing Hagan Smith and Noah Schultz and Tanner McDougall, who all seem to be
00:50closest, but you also have a third line, right? You know, defense forward, you know, go out and
00:56get there. Can I, can I get the puck in the deep area? Third line waiting with Drew Thorpe and
01:01Kai
01:02Bush and Mason Adams, who were all really close or in Kai Bush's case had pitched in the big,
01:08and they might not all be starters. Shoot. Any one of them might not actually be a long-term
01:12starter, but these are all guys that are close to auditioning. So, you know, with those, you know,
01:16the five you're starting with, plus those three top prospects we mentioned, plus three more,
01:22I shouldn't do math on the air, but I think that's 11, right? And that's, and then you're
01:26going to have, I think there's a way that there can still be a high number of starters to begin
01:32games for the White Sox, you know, full-fledged starters, and still see a lot of development
01:36there. It'll be very interesting to see how the White Sox maneuver things in the best case scenarios,
01:41right? What if Noah Schultz is knocking on the door come May 1st? You know, what if Hagan
01:47Smith, June 15, is just ready to go? Tanner McDougal could be the first one ready, even
01:52though he's only pitched up to double-A. There are veterans now, quote-unquote, in this White
01:57Sox rotation, and guys like Anthony Kaye and Eric Fetty, and to a different degree, Davis
02:03Martin, that they rely on and think that they can go, you know, some innings there to kind
02:08of preserve and keep intact some of the younger guys in that bullpen as well, like Grant Taylor.
02:14So, some tough decisions I think are going to be made, but the good part of these tough
02:17decisions, different from the ones made in the last couple years, is it's going to be
02:21centered around bringing top-tier talent into a place to succeed at the major league level.
