00:06Grazie a tutti.
00:30Castle Wolfenstein slash Doom.
00:32Yes, I'm old.
00:38I'm Tarle.
00:39I'm the associate producer in charge of multiplayer on Project Reppin of all time in a game.
00:45Not what I normally beat hobos with in the backyard.
00:50That's a tough one.
00:51I actually really like the shovel in Condemned 2.
00:59My name is Nathan Edson.
01:00I am an associate producer.
01:02My favorite weapon of game of all time is, of course, a weapon from fear.
01:05The penetrator from fear where you, of course, nail people to the walls.
01:09It's really great.
01:13I'm Bob Roberts, and I'm kind of a production assistant associate production guy that produces.
01:27What's your favorite moment with Alma?
01:35I was totally going to say that lunch at the Olive Garden last week.
01:45I'm John Mulkey, the lead game designer on Project Origin.
01:49What games did I work on at Monolith, you ask?
01:51Well, that's a brilliant question.
01:53I think that's a really good question.
01:55Let me answer those.
01:56Let's see.
01:57There was No One Lives Forever.
01:58I enjoyed working on that.
02:00No One Lives Forever 2.
02:01I enjoyed working on that.
02:02I was the lead level designer on that one.
02:03That was pretty exciting.
02:05I worked on Contract Jack.
02:07We'll not talk about that much.
02:10I went over and worked on Tron.
02:11That was really fun.
02:12Cool change of pace.
02:15I worked on Fear.
02:16I was the lead level designer on Fear.
02:18That was pretty fun.
02:19And now I'm working on Project Origin as the game designer.
02:22And that's pretty fun too.
02:23Who has the best hand on the team and why?
02:26I don't know.
02:27I think it would probably have to be...
02:30I don't know.
02:31Probably me.
02:32You know?
02:33I would say.
02:35Yeah.
02:39My name is Nathan Hendrickson.
02:40I'm a senior game designer here.
02:41I also do lead cinematics design.
02:45Favorite moment with Alma.
02:48I think in the first Fear game,
02:50when you're going down the ladder for the first time,
02:52and you turn...
02:53you activate it, you turn,
02:54and she's in front of you.
02:55Freak me out game.
02:57Of all time.
03:01The black hole generator from Blood 2.
03:07James Axlin, director of Body,
03:09and I was lead level designer on the original game.
03:11Favorite moment with Alma from the original game
03:13is there's a scene where she's walking on the ceiling.
03:15and I thought that was pretty creepy.
03:20My name is Brian Pimenton.
03:22I am the sound designer,
03:23lead sound designer for Condemn,
03:29Project Origin,
03:30Monolith.
03:31Favorite Alma moment.
03:33It was actually in the prototype.
03:35It was my favorite Alma moment.
03:36You first see her,
03:37and then she's coming at you,
03:38and then everything was kind of...
03:40and it's because I did the sound designer.
03:46My name is Corey Almeyer.
03:47I'm the art director for Project Torture.
03:49A moment of Alma from the original game
03:51would probably be the one where she showed up
03:55at the top of the ladder you were climbing,
03:57and it scared you.
03:58I fell off the ladder like three times
04:00because it scared the crap out of me so bad.
04:02What's my favorite color?
04:03Puce.
04:07My name is Matt Allen.
04:10I am the art commander.
04:14Yeah.
04:14Favorite moment with Alma,
04:16probably from the original game.
04:19I like the part where...
04:23I think Wes did a really awesome job
04:25with the blood on the ceiling.
04:28And so anytime we went into that hallway
04:32and you got like the great screen effects
04:34and like the weird blood on the ceiling.
04:39My name is John Turner,
04:41and I am the art lead for characters and weapons.
04:44My favorite color would be black.
04:46Absolutely.
04:49My name is Kevin Didrick,
04:51and I am the lead world artist.
04:54My favorite moment with Alma,
04:56you know it never even made it into the first fear game.
05:00At one point Craig had prototyped the scene
05:04where the player came up into an elevator lobby
05:08and this elevator lobby had a mirror
05:12and a little like table with the potted plant
05:15and then if you walked over to that mirror
05:17and looked at the mirror,
05:20the entire room behind you
05:22would basically turn into this like blood-coated room
05:26and Alma was standing like right behind the player in the mirror
05:30and then you turned around and it would flash
05:33and it would be back to normal again.
05:35And unfortunately I don't think that ever made it into the final PC release.
05:41but it was easily one of the cooler Alma moments that it ever were.
05:48I'm Dave Matthews, I'm the primary art lead on Project Origin.
05:51My favorite part in the original title is
05:54it's a real dark, mysterious area.
05:57You're looking at every direction.
05:59You even look behind you,
06:00you start to go down a ladder.
06:01As soon as you go down the ladder,
06:02you turn around and pow!
06:04Almost right there, right in your face.
06:06Great scene.
06:09My name is Russ Pecorrero
06:11and I'm lead engineer on Project Origin.
06:14So my favorite moment with Alma,
06:18the first time we started getting the scares in,
06:21one of the first things we did was add her at the top of this ladder.
06:25So as you're getting on the ladder,
06:27you spin around
06:28and then right there she just appears
06:31and pops out of you really, really quickly.
06:33And then you get down to the bottom
06:35thinking, oh my god, that was really scary.
06:38Thank god that's over.
06:39And then you relax.
06:40And then you turn around
06:40and it fettles right in your face
06:42and just kind of dissolves away.
06:44So you get two scares right there.
06:45It's really cool.
06:49I'm Lucas Ritting.
06:50I'm the QA lead here at Monolith.
06:53My favorite moment with Alma
06:56is the first time you see her
06:58and throws you down the hall with the flames exploding.
07:02Thanks for tuning in to the first video blog
07:05and look forward to more coming soon
07:07on ProjectOriginCommunity.com.
