00:00My car is not that bad.
00:14We're both pretty shaken up.
00:16Still kind of in shock from the whole situation
00:19and just heartbroken for, obviously, the pilots
00:22and all those that are injured.
00:23We're just thankful for the first responders
00:25who were able to help us so quickly.
00:27But, yeah, still in the state of shock, I would say.
00:42Yeah, of course.
00:43So I didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
00:45I was seated in the exit seat in the exit row
00:48on the left side of the plane.
00:49I noticed that there were a bunch of emergency vehicles
00:52on the left side of the tarmac as we were landing.
00:55And I'd say right before the impact,
00:58we felt something, maybe like an emergency brake
01:01that was pulled or some kind of hard stop
01:03before we hit the fire truck in front of us.
01:07But prior to that, there was nothing out of the ordinary
01:09that I had noticed or felt.
01:12And honestly, with the pilots in there,
01:14I believe saved many lives on that flight.
01:17And my heart's just broken for them.
01:28That thought didn't cross my mind.
01:30I thought they were just there for unrelated reasons
01:32or just there because it was late at night
01:34and they were working on something else.
01:36But that thought never crossed my mind now.
01:46Yeah, so because I was seated in the emergency aisle,
01:50somebody in the plane had shouted emergency exits open.
01:54So at that time, I pulled the lever down,
01:56detached the door, put it to the side of the plane.
01:59And a few of us had exited through the emergency exit
02:03onto the wing of the plane.
02:04And FDNY and Port Authority Police directed us
02:06to slide down the wing of the plane onto the ground.
02:09It was very low to the ground and easy to get off.
02:12And they directed us behind those emergency vehicles
02:14that you see on the screen there.
02:16So we were all directed to go there.
02:17And it was, they corralled us pretty quickly.
02:20They were on scene very fast.
02:34Maybe they're checking in constantly with us
02:36to make sure, just to see how we're doing.
02:39My fiance and I were at the hospital today
02:43and they have representatives there
02:45asking if we needed rides home
02:47and just making sure that we were okay
02:49so that they've been in contact with us.
