00:31From the very inception, we wanted to make a sincere game in a cynical time.
00:35For the visual style of A Boy and His Blob, we look to classic animated movies from the past.
00:41Maybe things from the 80s, things that you really grew up with as a kid.
00:45The original concept for A Boy and His Blob is absolutely fantastic.
00:48You've got your boy, you've got your blob, you've got your jelly beans.
00:51You feed the blob these jelly beans, and then you use all of the transformations to solve these environmental puzzles.
00:58So, in this new game, we're going on a similar journey.
01:01The boy is back, the blob is back, the emperor is back, and the entire game is this salvation story
01:06where you're saving Blobolonia from this evil, maniacal despot.
01:10So, here we have an enemy that we've dubbed the Basher.
01:12When he gets close to you, he'll charge you, so you have to figure out a way to circumvent him
01:16or get around him.
01:17So, the solution in this situation is you just pull out your punch jelly bean, toss it here, the blob
01:23turns into a hole, and then you can lure the basher here in front of you.
01:28Once the basher falls down the hole, you can recall the blob, and you'll be on your way.

01:33Some of the classics have returned, like the Licorice Ladder and the Coconut Coconut.
01:37The Tangerine Jelly Bean will turn the blob into a trampoline.
01:40The Pear Jelly Bean will transform the blob into a parachute.
01:44And the Banana Jelly Bean will transform the blob into an anvil to crush enemies.
