00:00Hello, one and all.
00:02Welcome back to another episode of Adventuring Party.
00:04I'm your humble GM, Brandon Lee Mulligan.
00:05With me as always are our Dusty Do-Gooders.
00:07Say hi, Dusty Do-Gooders.
00:08Hi.
00:09Hi.
00:10What a fucking season.
00:11Hi, Dusty Do-Gooders.
00:12What a finale.
00:13Huge applause from you to all of you.
00:16True.
00:17Truly insane.
00:17And us to you.
00:19Can we get a special for the noobs in the domes
00:21who weren't noobs at all?
00:23What's that?
00:23Which one is it?
00:24Oh, for the noobies.
00:25Come on.
00:25Come on.
00:26Come on.
00:29I'm giving special accolades to our new friends.
00:31I thought you were saying the noobs in the dome.
00:33I didn't say it great.
00:34Can we get the noobs out of the dome?
00:36I'm sorry.
00:37I really appreciate that.
00:39It was amazing.
00:40It means a lot.
00:42The way in which you've lost your upper lip
00:44is quite challenging for me.
00:47It's so weird.
00:48It's teeth and teeth.
00:50You look like a viral video of a snarling dog.
00:54You look like a viral video.
00:55You look like Saren's assistant who tells
00:58and Fred is dead.
00:58By the way, to our amazing art department,
01:01huge shout out to all the crew,
01:03all the amazing crew in this season.
01:06Pick up.
01:07From camera to HMU to lore and production and art
01:11for all this amazing stuff,
01:12we have some more cool talismans and magic items
01:16that didn't get to come out in this season.
01:18Really?
01:19Really?
01:19Look at this.
01:20Pot skull, potted plant.
01:22It's actually gorgeous.
01:23Look at that.
01:24Oh, I love that.
01:25I love that.
01:26Much like the Gladlands,
01:27well guys, you guys still have to get to the Eternal Dark
01:29and talk to them about partying too much.
01:32That's Mooney.
01:32Glider Town needs a lot of new huts built.
01:34They have a lot of new people that have come there.
01:36I love that we leave on you guys on the caravan
01:39just like off on the next adventure.
01:41It's so great.
01:43We still have all those leeches for the Canlands.
01:45You have all those leeches for the Canlands,
01:47but that's life, baby.
01:48There's more to do.
01:49What is that?
01:49People need taken care of every day.
01:51That says mother.
01:52And that's life's great joy.
01:53I like that.
01:55Whoa.
01:57So a lot of great stuff there.
01:58Shout out also to our amazing projections this season
02:01with Derek Christensen and Ruby O'Brien.
02:03I love all this great stuff that we had.
02:06We had potted plant, glitter.
02:09We had another glitter bomb, needlepoint, clippers,
02:12memento, candle, and handkerchief.
02:14Wow.
02:15Nice.
02:17And also.
02:18Here you go, Brendan.
02:19And also, but this is not the only thing
02:21we should be handing out,
02:22because if memory serves,
02:24we got the good goo all the way to 16.
02:26And our bomberometer in the green.
02:28No.
02:28So without further ado,
02:30could we fly in one pizza party?
02:33Give me pizza.
02:36Come on.
02:36Actually, the I-Z-Z-E-A.
02:39Oh my god.
02:40Pizza party.
02:41Pizza party.
02:42Pizza.
02:45We did it.
02:47We did it.
02:47That's what it is.
02:48Oh my gosh, we got soda.
02:50I'm pissed.
02:51I'm pissed.
02:52I'm pissed.
02:52So, so, well, anyways.
02:55Now.
02:56It's the good goo.
02:57It's the good goo.
02:58This is good goo for everybody.
02:59Good goo.
02:59And, as all of you can see,
03:01and our audience at home can see,
03:03every square inch of the table is covered with pizza.
03:07Oh my gosh.
03:08It's such a big pizza.
03:08It's so big.
03:09And how are you gonna justify that?
03:11This is so much pizza.
03:12It's not a lie, Jacob.
03:15Because the audience right now,
03:16they're seeing that this table is absolutely covered
03:20head to toe in pizza.
03:21Oh my god.
03:21It was cheaper to do a CGI gag,
03:25than to just buy a big pizza?
03:26Buy us a giant pizza?
03:28You could've just ordered one regular sized pizza
03:30and put it in the middle of another pizza.
03:32Jacob, we did buy a big pizza.
03:33That's what the audience is seeing right now.
03:34And my hands aren't going through it,
03:36or anything, or clipping on the pumpkin.
03:38I don't know.
03:39It's so good.
03:40This...
03:43This rocks.
03:44What is this?
03:45It's fucked.
03:45This is fucked.
03:46It's fucked.
03:46You are so lucky I'm a pacifist.
03:49I love it.
03:50I love it.
03:51Somehow, someway.
03:51Oh, it's so hot too.
03:52I guess I'll take a bite of this.
03:54Oh yeah, look at all that steam
03:56coming out of your mouth and ears and head.
03:58Woo!
03:59Yeah, we can CGI the steam coming out of Zach.
04:02Great pizza party.
04:03This, I will say,
04:04is of the exact caliber of pizza
04:06that I had for pizza parties growing up.
04:09In school.
04:10You know?
04:11Sure.
04:11How many texts did it take
04:14to decide not to buy
04:18one big pizza?
04:19How many fucking slacks?
04:21Especially considering there is a...
04:22I'm pissed!
04:23There is a place local
04:24that does a pizza about this size
04:26were not that expensive.
04:28If it makes you guys feel any better,
04:29they're all gluten free
04:30because of me, I bet.
04:32They all are?
04:32Oh, these are all gluten free?
04:34You actually wouldn't even know, really.
04:35That's not bad.
04:35So that's not bad.
04:36How many slacks?
04:37And I'll move on.
04:38And I'll be happy, and I'll be okay.
04:39It was a meeting.
04:41Hmm.
04:41Worse.
04:42How long was the meeting?
04:44I would say the meeting was a good 10 minutes.
04:45Two and a half hours?
04:46A 10-minute meeting.
04:48I think that was the worst waste of 10 minutes
04:49that anybody at Dropouts ever had.
04:51Jacob!
04:53The audience is having a great time at our pizza party!
04:56I've never thought about them once.
04:58I only think about me and my pizza.
05:00I'm over it, though.
05:01I'm gonna pretend to be happy for the rest of it.
05:02I think it's a Mountain Dew.
05:04Oh, great.
05:04It feels like Mountain Dew.
05:06Right?
05:07Oh, we're trying to guess which soda this is,
05:10and I think it's a Mountain Dew.
05:11You're lucky that you caught us hungry enough
05:13that this tastes amazing.
05:15We do want to eat it.
05:16Yeah.
05:16I hear that.
05:17The good goo, I don't know what the good goo is,
05:19but it's delightful.
05:20There's no way the visual effect is cheaper.
05:22I'm incredibly thankful, and this is really good.
05:26That's the last I'm gonna say of it.
05:27And in fact, I wouldn't add anything else
05:30or take anything away from it.
05:32That's kind of perfect the way it is, actually.
05:34Yeah.
05:34I take that.
05:35Because what really makes a pizza party great
05:37is the people that are attending.
05:40Yeah, when are they getting here?
05:41There are so many promises in our world
05:43that people don't fall through on.
05:45Whoa!
05:46Especially in modern times.
05:47You crack yourself up with that.
05:49What did you say?
05:50That makes me laugh so hard.
05:51What did you say?
05:52Yeah.
05:53We're like, it's the people that you're with.
05:55They gave a clap back so fierce
05:57that they laughed themselves.
05:59Almost completely uncalled for.
06:03As I'm sitting around a table with, like,
06:05people I would have picked to be here.
06:07Oh my god.
06:08Yeah, nice save.
06:09Absolutely.
06:10Thank you for the pizza.
06:10This was great, and we earned it.
06:12Thank you so much.
06:13This whole table is covered in the pizza we're eating,
06:16and we love it.
06:17And it's just growing.
06:19It's just growing.
06:20And slice by slice, as we pull them off,
06:22the slices are coming off.
06:23It's just going down.
06:24And what the audience is seeing,
06:25under those slices is more pizza.
06:29I'm gonna call you tonight.
06:31And we're gonna talk about it.
06:32Okay.
06:33But for the rest of this, I'm gonna be happy,
06:35and we're gonna have a good time.
06:35What is that conversation?
06:36I dig it.
06:36I dig it.
06:38We'll see.
06:39I'll just feel better.
06:40I love it.
06:40I love it.
06:42Where do we go from there?
06:43I cannot...
06:45I think I will think of the spinch in the elevator
06:48until the end of my life.
06:49It might be the last thing I think of before I die.
06:53Just watch me kick at the copyright,
06:54the whole thing gets cut.
06:55What?
06:56Oh my god, no.
06:57I don't even need to name any names.
06:59It's a space.
06:59It's a butthole.
07:00It's a different thing.
07:01Space is getting deleted from this.
07:03Don't make that into butthole canon.
07:05Hey, go look it up.
07:06Butthole canon?
07:08Urban Dictionary's not a reliable...
07:10Urban Dictionary's not a reliable source.
07:11Yeah, anything you look up on Urban Dictionary
07:14is a butthole.
07:16I'm gonna be so quiet for the rest of the season.
07:18The rest of the season?
07:19The season of Dimension 20 is concluded
07:21but this season of Adventuring Party is just getting started.
07:25Nice.
07:26That's not accurate.
07:27But the important thing is...
07:30Hey, sláinte.
07:32I was blown away by everybody's character arcs.
07:36I was blown away by what everybody did in the season.
07:38This was such a good fucking season.
07:41Season two, get in the comments.
07:43There's no comments.
07:44Season two, get in the comments.
07:45We gotta find out what's going on.
07:46Call your senator.
07:47Call your senator.
07:47What's going on at the Eternal Dark?
07:50If you're in line, stay in line.
07:51I couldn't believe all of the things that came...
07:55That episode started back at the History Heap
07:58with fucking Poppy's performance for the History Heapers.
08:03Poppy and Fleshy Facade's performance.
08:08Ooh, and...
08:09Which, what a debut.
08:11What a debut.
08:12You know?
08:12What a debut, exactly.
08:14Ha ha!
08:15Um...
08:15And of course...
08:17Sort of like, uh...
08:18Spinch.
08:18I believe that Spinch was also debut.
08:20Oh my god, Spinch is Quinn in drag.
08:24Spinch is Quinn's interspecies drag.
08:29Um...
08:30The...
08:31I love it.
08:33Um...
08:35With...
08:35Owie.
08:38Yes?
08:39Uh...
08:40Sort of like the Kawasaki.
08:43Yes!
08:44The...
08:44Yes.
08:45Daddy Kawasaki with a human penis.
08:47Don't say stuff like that.
08:49No!
08:50No!
08:51Yeah.
08:52After a bite.
08:53Yeah.
08:54No!
08:55No!
08:56Kevin!
08:58Um...
08:59I love...
09:00I love...
09:00I love...
09:01Your real explanation of...
09:03The condor.
09:05Parthenogenesis?
09:05Yes.
09:06Yes!
09:06That was cool.
09:08Yes, condors...
09:09Condor with a little bit of human DNA,
09:12giving birth to a human child with beautiful hair,
09:15whose father's a dirt bike.
09:17And I love that.
09:18And it all...
09:18And I was like...
09:19I was like, I promise you this, man.
09:21That mom is not talking.
09:22That is a bird.
09:23She is a condor.
09:25She's a condor.
09:26She's just screeching and getting out of there.
09:27I respect that.
09:28That's awesome.
09:29Um...
09:30My dad didn't say anything either.
09:32Mm-hmm.
09:32Mm-hmm.
09:33Yeah.
09:33He didn't really.
09:34Mm-hmm.
09:35Um...
09:36That moment where we finally see marauders...
09:39Mm-hmm.
09:40And they're, like, legitimately threatening,
09:42and having you there...
09:45Woo!
09:46Like, did you have a strategy going into it?
09:49Yeah, I pulled out that, um...
09:51I was like, I'm gonna try and use this charm to talk to them,
09:54but again, I am still burned out in everything except for charm.
09:57So I was like, I don't want to resort to violence,
10:00but if I have to, I'm strapping that rocket.
10:02I...
10:02I first had thought, like, my game plan going into it,
10:05as I was like, oh, I'll get it on top of that big rig,
10:08and I'll try and, um, use it to, like,
10:11careen it into, like, the pit or whatever.
10:14But then hearing how big it was, I was like, oh,
10:17it's gonna need something to, like, sink it all down into the hole,
10:20um, in some capacity.
10:22So then when I heard bomb balls, uh, was here, I was like,
10:25oh, okay, maybe we can use the bomb, uh, to blow a hole up.
10:30Uh, didn't, didn't work out as planned.
10:32But that's okay, because then we got to talk it out.
10:35So we found out that...
10:35He was a liar.
10:36It was a lie.
10:37Mm-hmm.
10:37And that he was just a man.
10:39I mean, a mortal.
10:39Well, it was, I feel like, with Extremis, it wasn't that he was a,
10:42yes, he was a liar, he was just a guy,
10:45and it was very funny to have his, his rapid deceleration
10:50from warlord, marauder, to marbles, the new scout of the caravan.
10:55Uh, it was very, very funny.
10:58Um.
10:59It was nice to see him using wise for a bad purpose
11:04to brainwash people when we had Poppy teach everyone
11:07that you can craft a lie to inspire everyone back at the history heat.
11:11Yeah.
11:11It is, like, a very smart ruse to be like,
11:15hmm.
11:15Oh, absolutely.
11:16I have, I have, I have balls that are bombs, and that makes me cool.
11:20Mm-hmm.
11:20Yeah.
11:20That is, to me, would work on me.
11:23That would work on me as a marauder.
11:24I'd be like, am I gonna follow this guy?
11:26I don't have bomb, I don't have bomb balls.
11:27Yeah.
11:27Yeah.
11:28This is the king.
11:29This is the absolute king.
11:30Brilliant.
11:31I've never heard a smarter idea in my life.
11:34I feel like we're all so wiped by the spinch
11:37that it's hard to really, I think the spinch...
11:39A spinch wipe?
11:40A spinch wipe.
11:41A spinch wipe.
11:42You gotta wipe your spinch every day.
11:43An SPK.
11:45An SPK.
11:45An SPK.
11:46I don't know.
11:47Yeah, SPK spinch party kill.
11:49I love that.
11:50I love that.
11:51For those of you who were, who this is your first time playing in the Dome,
11:55was this, like, this was an extremely outlandish season.
12:00The genre we were in was crazy.
12:02The setting was crazy.
12:04Do you feel like this was more absurd than you were expecting?
12:09More like, was it more like off or on rails than you were expecting?
12:14I was sort of delighted.
12:17I was like, oh shit, this finale, because we often have big battles for our end episode.
12:22And this finale felt like a finale to me.
12:24It felt pretty fucking spectacular, you know?
12:27Yours actions were incredible, and everyone was on it.
12:32And, like, you know, Connor going off to get the thing and the fucking, you know, the survivors in the
12:39bookshop and everything.
12:41There was a lot of fun stuff.
12:42Suckling Uncle Puss.
12:45Yeah.
12:45There was a...
12:46Dr. Puss.
12:47Yeah, Dr. Puss.
12:48The Marauders.
12:49The big...
12:50That was very scary with those Marauders.
12:53I thought you were going to burn out your last die for a second.
12:55I was really scared.
12:56I did, also.
12:57Yes, very frightening.
12:58How did it feel for you two that were in the dome for the first time?
13:01Uh, well, this is what I think it is.
13:04This is what I think...
13:05This always is.
13:06This always is.
13:08And you telling me usually there's all this fighting and a bunch of more violence, whatever, monsters.
13:14I'm like, I don't know.
13:16Yeah.
13:16This is what I think it is.
13:18This is what I think it is.
13:18Was it what you thought the experience was going to be like?
13:21Like the act of like, you're trying to tell a story.
13:23You're rolling.
13:24Other people are telling their story.
13:26Yeah, we did...
13:27Okay, so before we started, we got a lot of lowdown about what all the rules and the dice and
13:32all of that.
13:33And I was like, this is a lot of information.
13:36And then we started doing it and I went, oh, it's improv with all my smartest friends.
13:41Totally.
13:42And I can do anything if I say it out loud.
13:45Like, you'll help me, you'll help me, you'll help me, everybody will help me do whatever the thing is.
13:49So we're just like making a movie together in our brains.
13:56Totally.
13:56And that was cool.
13:57I love that.
13:58Yeah, I truly, I mean like this is way different than I thought it was going to be.
14:02In that like, I am like truly a fan.
14:07I like, I, especially when I...
14:10That's how we met.
14:10Yeah, yeah, yeah.
14:11I asked you to sign my notebook, you said no.
14:13Yeah, I said no right now.
14:15Paid for a meet and greet.
14:16And then you joined, then you joined Getty.
14:19And then you joined Getty.
14:21I won a contest, that's why I'm here.
14:24But so like, I've seen, you know, like A Court of Fame Flowers.
14:32I've seen the first season of Fantasy High, Crown of Candy, The Seven, you know, like I genuinely have like
14:39consumed a lot of the content, especially, and it was especially easy to enjoy because I'm like, I will never
14:46do that.
14:47That's never going to be something I'm going to do.
14:48That's so far from like, any of my skill sets, any of like the things that I want to do.
14:52And I just, I like had a lot of fear over like the rules around it, I think.
14:59And I'm just, yeah, I'm very grateful that I do just think everybody was so supportive and it didn't end
15:04up being about the rules at all, which was great.
15:09I really appreciate the focus on like, the improvisational aspect of the storytelling of this is such an important part
15:17of it.
15:18And I think that like, it's just crazy to do so much in six episodes that felt like, I don't
15:27know.
15:27All I really want is the farthest points on the chart of the vibes it is possible to have in
15:35an episode.
15:36To be, to have a moment where it's like, Uncle Pus may die.
15:39To then be like, grabbing this man in the, in the elevator tank in the dark, you know, like, that's
15:48not what the spinch does.
15:51Um, is, uh, it really, it really, really gets me.
15:58Um.
15:58That's not what this spinch does.
16:01That's not what the spinch does.
16:02Uh, it was really funny.
16:03I forget, I think Vic clocked what the survivors in the dark were before Ali did.
16:09You did, you did.
16:10Because you were like, oh, some survivors.
16:12And Vic was already laughing just at the fact that I was about to inflict a wife that did not
16:18eat her husband.
16:19Absolutely.
16:20Identical timeline.
16:22Longer.
16:23Much longer.
16:23Much longer.
16:24Much longer.
16:25Four months.
16:25Way longer.
16:26Four months down there.
16:27Beef jerky for, oh my god.
16:29That's great.
16:30Now that's just stupid.
16:31The temptation was too much.
16:32Sounds like that's just stupid.
16:33That's stupid.
16:34That animal's already dead and the industrial process that created it has been destroyed in the apocalypse.
16:39He wasn't even that good, honestly.
16:41In my mind I was like, roll, if he tastes good, you gotta eat him.
16:45You gotta eat him.
16:46But he didn't taste very good.
16:47There's been no salt.
16:49Zero salt.
16:50No salt, no seasoning.
16:51Not a garlic clove in sight.
16:53And they were there.
16:54That's on a shirt and a mouse pad.
16:56It's selling like hotcakes.
17:01It was just so delightful.
17:03And that whole grabbing the books, getting the California section, finding out that we are indeed in California.
17:10This was a fun moment too.
17:12We are gonna have to cut out that we are indeed in New York City for sure.
17:16But it could be like, it could also be the type of thing where I feel like in Canada there's
17:20a chain called Boston Pizza.
17:22Yeah.
17:22Yeah, it's like New York booksellers or whatever.
17:26It could be New York City books.
17:27New York City books.
17:28New York City books.
17:29It's still there.
17:29And all your friends stick up for New York City.
17:32Yeah.
17:32New York City.
17:33We protect New York City.
17:35Yeah.
17:35I loved this moment of you weren't even looking for books.
17:39I thought that was really cool for Poppy to be like, I usually beeline.
17:44You both were dealing with kind of like outsider syndrome kind of stuff where you were just like, oh, no
17:50one's making me an outsider.
17:51I have to make that switch in myself and like act in a more like pro-social way if that's
17:57what I want.
17:58And it was cool to watch.
17:59I love that.
18:00It's so easy to be consumed by your own neuroses that you sort of, you have a hard time hearing
18:09other people like sort of communicating to you.
18:14Poppy had zero awareness, right?
18:16Yeah.
18:16I mean, yeah.
18:17I built her specifically because her whole thing is like living in that fantasy, living five steps ahead but not
18:25forward.
18:26It's like five steps like diagonal, you know?
18:29There's an interesting thing between Herbie who has to be hiding and Poppy who gets to be herself and awareness
18:34being high and the one that's hiding and low and the one who's not.
18:38Where it's, there's almost like, it's an interesting interpretation of awareness where it's like, well, it's not that I'm unaware.
18:43It's that in this version, I'm listening to myself.
18:46Period.
18:47You know?
18:47And I think that's the big thing too of someone who is, I've been both.
18:51Yeah.
18:52I'll tell you this right now.
18:53I've been somebody who's been hiding for survival's sake for a very, very long time and I had to be
18:59aware to survive.
19:02Yeah.
19:03I had to be.
19:04And those people just have to sort of mute themselves, shut themselves down, sort of fade into the background, become
19:11outsiders in order to keep-
19:13And know the rules so well that you're not breaking them.
19:16Absolutely.
19:16Absolutely.
19:16Like, cause that could be a huge issue.
19:18Yeah.
19:18Totally.
19:18And then I've also been someone who is very out, very proud, living in my own fantasy, you
19:24know?
19:24Because for me, it's like, I'm in tune with, I've worked so hard to sort of like, make
19:32me the person that I am, that I do have to drown out the noise.
19:36I don't care about what other people think or say.
19:39Like, I'm gonna do me.
19:40I'm gonna do the things that I wanna do, the things that bring me and my friends and family
19:44happiness.
19:45And so I totally, you know, Poppy and Herbie is such like a personal, I mean, there's
19:54a little bit of ourselves in the characters that we create anyway.
19:57But like, Poppy, Her, no?
20:01No, no, I'm just laughing about this binge.
20:04But I'm just saying like, yeah, that was super personal for me too.
20:09Totally.
20:09I love that.
20:11And it was very beautiful to have at the beginning of this episode the, like, the big thing that
20:16I wanted to hit in the world over and over again was how much paranoia there is around
20:25aloneness that often, it's not that it never exists, sometimes it exists, but not as often
20:31as our fear tells us it does.
20:32Mm-hmm.
20:32And the idea of like, you know, he says like, we don't mourn the dead, we crush them under
20:38their dust.
20:38And all these marauders take a little memento out of like the person they miss.
20:44And you go like, the history heap will not accept me.
20:47And it's like, one of the researchers has the garb under the robes.
20:52Like, you just don't know.
20:54Like, you might have all this kinship that's right around the corner.
20:58But in Parcel's case, the whole thing was, Parcel goes, well, if Poppy's brave enough
21:05to do that on the road, and I'm not even brave enough to do that on the road, we come
21:10back
21:10here and Poppy shuts up shop, what does that tell me?
21:16If I don't even feel safe doing it out here and Poppy's closing it down up here, then I'd
21:20better fucking lock it up.
21:22Mm-hmm.
21:22I just wanted to hit those moments of the thing that you think no one else does.
21:29Maybe not everybody else does it, but more people than you think do it.
21:33Absolutely.
21:34And it was really lovely.
21:37It was really, really lovely.
21:38We got Connor and his mom and dad came back.
21:41I love when you sat down next to Extremis Knox.
21:46Yeah.
21:46Next to Marbles is so, so, so funny and so delightful and very warm, especially for
21:54the least likable character in the entire season, to be like, okay, man, what's up?
21:59What's wrong?
22:00Yeah.
22:01I think it was like, in that scenario, his sort of like hail of glory kind of outlook
22:11just sort of needed to be disarmed in that way.
22:15Yeah.
22:16And I think that felt like kind of the right thing to do, I guess.
22:20I don't know.
22:20This was very, like a really repairing season.
22:23Mm-hmm.
22:24Like where there were just a lot of like easy choices that could be made of like, that
22:28person's flawed, that person's canceled, we don't have enough time to deal with this
22:32person's whole thing.
22:34Yeah.
22:34And like every step it felt like we made the choice that was like, deep breath, what's
22:39your deal?
22:40Let's have a combo.
22:41But what I like was the realism of how close you came to not doing that.
22:45Maybe we just knocked Justin Sheffield into the fucking swamp.
22:47No, totally.
22:48That's what I mean.
22:49Like all of them in a normal season, I think we'd be like, you're bad.
22:54Yeah.
22:54There's good, there's bad.
22:55And we've decided you're bad and we're not going to like use time for that.
22:58Aunt Freaky was mean as hell.
23:00Yeah.
23:01She really said some nasty, nasty stuff.
23:05The way you moved her body.
23:07The way-
23:07It was really good.
23:08That was so scary.
23:09She continued to make-
23:10That's what got Kokomo, man.
23:11Yeah.
23:12Ooh, why you move kind of snake?
23:14Oh, that's what she meant.
23:15Truly, what was so nice about that moment though, is like,
23:17speaking to these like finale moments, I do think in those like big fights and in those
23:23type of like Mad Max-y movies, there always is that moment like near a climax where there
23:27is like that fear of imminent death where you really don't know if it's going to be like,
23:33where the character I think goes into something being like, am I going to live or am I not?
23:36And like having that in this moment where he's like, we're strapped together, we're going to die.
23:41And you were sort of like, okay.
23:43Yeah.
23:43If that's what's going to happen, that's what's going to happen.
23:45And like having that moment being like, you might die.
23:48All the Toy Story toys in the incinerator.
23:51Oh, yeah.
23:52God, I remember that moment being like, I'm going to write a letter to Pixar.
23:57Like you cannot kill all the Toy Story toys in a movie.
24:00Does that happen?
24:01There's a moment where it really seems like it's going to.
24:03It really seems like maybe.
24:04And then they get nailed down.
24:06And they just kind of hold each other and they're like, that's okay.
24:08They accept it.
24:09They're like, this is fine.
24:10We're okay.
24:11They're going to die with dignity.
24:12You should write that letter.
24:13It really fucked me up.
24:15And then we got this moment with Hoogie and eating the chicken nugget and getting a chicken made out of
24:20scab meat.
24:21That's disgusting.
24:24That's disgusting.
24:24That's disgusting.
24:25That's pretty disgusting.
24:25It is.
24:26It's disgusting.
24:26No, it's pretty cute if you look at it.
24:28Oh.
24:28So you went and caught your chicken.
24:31Yeah.
24:31We let Breakers chicken.
24:33What?
24:34Well, I didn't have a chicken.
24:35It was Breakers chicken.
24:35Oh, you went and caught Breakers chicken.
24:36But I adopted it.
24:38But that moment with Moony eating the chicken nugget.
24:41Oh, man.
24:41I really wasn't expecting that.
24:43That almost got me.
24:44Really?
24:45Yeah.
24:46Oh, man.
24:47It's very – I think about that a lot because the – in terms of – if anyone's ever had
24:54a moment where they, like, felt a connection to somebody and there's some people that try to interpret that in
24:58a strictly religious way and there's some other people.
25:01And I remember having an experience like that where I said, you know, there's a desire to interpret this as
25:09a cosmological truth that, like, there's an afterlife or there's something else like that.
25:15But also, even if all this was, was my brain uses this person as a shape to tell me that
25:25everything's connected and everything's going to be okay, that's very, very meaningful.
25:31And I think that that is, like, something that I really – in that moment where he was like, I
25:37love you whether I'm waiting somewhere for you or I'm a chicken nugget hallucination.
25:43I love you either way.
25:44And it's like, that to me is very silly and meaningful in the way that I hope all of our
25:53episodes of this show are.
25:55This season was a pleasure and an honor and a delight.
25:58I am so happy to have gotten to be here telling this story with all of you.
26:04Mwah!
26:04Tons of love.
26:05Take care of each other out there.
26:06Tons of love from everybody here at Dimension 20 and we'll see you next time.
26:09Woo!
26:11Is the pizza still there?
26:13You can have seconds.
26:15You gotta let it go.
26:16You gotta let it go, dude.
26:17You gotta let it go, man.
26:18I can't, man.
