00:00Now what you're looking at is the spawn in screen. As you can see you're going to have three kits
00:04that you can select from. You're going to have the scout which is your sniper for long distance fighting, infantry
00:09for close short range and then also taking out vehicles as a bazooka. And then you got your rifleman for
00:15the mid range and taking out guys from a distance. And what you do is you select your character and
00:20then you also have a mini map on the side that you can toggle through where you want to start
00:24from.
00:25You're going to have a front line system that's going to put you in the action right away but you
00:29also have manual control if you want to pick where you want to spawn from.
00:33You'll start off on that aircraft carrier in the beginning of a round. You'll have two airplanes that you can
00:38pick from if you can get to them fast enough.
00:40And there will be four boats landing crafts that you can launch from off the carrier and go attack the
00:45ground right away.
00:49And if you're familiar with Battlefield Bad Company you'll quickly know that you press B to get in the vehicles
00:54and you can take off in the planes or the landing craft right away.
01:02We have the typical conquest and what we have is the red flags are always going to be your enemy
01:08and you can do you can attack them and you can use the plane and you can do a rear
01:13view you have third person.
01:16And the planes are actually my absolute favorite so I'm addicted to flying them all the time.
01:21As you can see the Frostbite engine gives a whole new perspective on these classic locations so if you played
01:281942 then you're going to recognize your surroundings to a point but then you're going to see how much has
01:35changed and how much is different.
01:37We also put in, which a lot of people would be happy, parachutes. So in the lower left hand corner
01:43you would see a parachute symbol that will let you know you've activated it.
01:48Oh, and I died.
01:51So what I'll do now is I'll let the game tell me where I'm going to spawn to try and
01:56get me into the most action.
01:58I'll go with the infantry because he's a little bit better at fighting in these situations.
02:04So as you can see in the middle there's going to be a flag capture indicator so it's going to
02:08let you know if you're capturing the flag or not.
02:10Right now it's all blue because it means that we've already captured the flag.
02:15As you can see over the side up here is bombers that are coming in and they're going to lay
02:21a carpet bomb on me so I should probably get out of here so I'm going to take the Jeep.
02:32And we've added a little bit of drifting into the Jeeps to make them a little bit more fun to
02:37drive and a little more action packed.
02:45I almost shouldn't have survived that but I lucked out.
02:49And you've got to make sure that the bridge isn't blown out.
02:52Luckily it's not because a lot of times you can actually blow up the bridge and there's alternate routes though
02:56that you can take to get there.
02:57My friends captured it while I was playing around so now I've got to turn around and head towards where
03:03I look for the action what's going on.
03:05Right now this is a free alpha build so you won't see a mini map but that will be added
03:10so those who are very perceptive and familiar with battlefield and go where's the mini map?
03:14It will be there just not yet.
03:18Nice little road kill. Classic battlefield moment.
03:23And I have different weapons with the kit so I have a melee weapon but it also serves as a
03:28wrench so I can repair my vehicles.
03:35One thing you'll notice in this version of Battlefield is you're going to have unlimited ammunition.
03:40So you're never going to run out of bullets so you can keep fighting and don't have to worry about
03:44finding somebody to resupply you or finding a location to get resupplied.
03:50I'm going to take the jump. This is fun.
03:55Almost crashed.
03:57That never happened to me before except for when I'm getting filmed.
04:04So as you can see, little things aren't going to stop you as much in the Jeep.
04:08You can jump through bushes, terrain, and a lot of other stuff that will be familiar.
04:19And bunkers are always safe spots in this battlefield so even though there's destruction on all the buildings, you're going
04:26to be safe in the bunker because it's too thick so we've made it to where you can't actually damage
04:30it.
04:36And then Brown's restarted.
