00:03All right. We'll get going here. Appreciate everybody hopping on, making time for this this afternoon.
00:07I spoke with Chad in the last week or so. We wanted to get everybody together on the fast pitch
00:13side so that we could have him and team cover some exciting updates on the marketing and social media front,
00:22and some of which I've gotten to see over the course of the last couple of months. And it's it's
00:28really exciting stuff that that he's been working on in the direction he's taking this.
00:32So with that, Chad, I'll turn it over to you and let you roll with it.
00:38Yeah, for sure. And first of all, thank you, Ryan. And thank you guys that could join, because this it
00:42does mean a lot to where we're going.
00:44And we want to make sure, you know, as Ryan can tell you, we're trying really hard to be more
00:48and more transparent,
00:49let everyone know the things that are being done and just to be more out there.
00:53And so Kelly, who you guys just saw me talking with, she's actually with slow pitch.
00:56I don't think she's even doing stuff with fast pitch, but I asked her to jump on because we've been
01:00working together on some things.
01:02And I just want to share it. And we've also got some of the other marketing team on here.
01:06So here recently after convention, I was tasked with or I was asked if I would be interested in helping
01:12run and lead the UAAA marketing program.
01:17And, you know, I'm sure you guys can imagine the undertaking that that is and also like the stigma that's
01:23been behind it and all the things that, you know, like trying to fix it.
01:25And so what I did was I came up with a plan. I presented it to John and Ryan and
01:30Steve and the board.
01:32And essentially, I got their, you know, their blessing and their approval.
01:35So first thing I want to talk about are like some of the problems that we all know we have.
01:39Right.
01:39Like we know that the email system, a lot of our stuff goes to spam. We all know that. Right.
01:44So my question has always been, how could we get around that?
01:47And what are the things that we could do to create an audience that's valuable?
01:52So that being said, the primary initiative that we're going to focus on to get started with is going to
02:00be social media.
02:01OK, I have a goal. It's very simple. It's very clear.
02:05I want one million followers and I want one billion views. I want that this year.
02:10It's not rocket science. It just takes a ton of great content, a ton of effort, a ton of output.
02:16And it's hard. And that's why I like it. Right.
02:19So that being said, I want to share with you guys what we're doing, how I intend on getting this
02:26content, where I intend on it going and how I need you guys to help.
02:30So with that being said, I'm going to share my screen again. I'll keep this as quick as I can.
02:35At the end, I'll open it to questions. I will stay. I can stay until four o'clock if anyone
02:40does have questions.
02:41So. All right, here we go.
02:44So. First thing is, we have built something called I'll sign out of this.
02:52We'll get back to this. It's going to be right now.
02:54Now it's you triple a content dot com long term. My dream is this will be content dot you triple
02:59a dot com.
03:00We are going to go as and be referred to moving forward as the all access team.
03:06OK. And so what we're trying to do is leverage and harness our overall you triple a network across baseball,
03:17fast pitch and slow pitch.
03:19So the goal is we are going to have a few things.
03:24I'm going to come back to the event sign up piece.
03:26This is the piece I need your guys help with.
03:28But I want to highlight a couple of things that we're going to be doing.
03:31So moving forward, starting in April, we're going to be doing a player of the week across all sports.
03:37They will have an opportunity to click into this.
03:40They will be able to see they can nominate a player.
03:42They'll see what we're looking for, good role models, great teammates, community impact, outstanding performance, things that go outside the
03:50lines that go above and beyond.
03:52So we will have the ability to nominate someone who deserves this.
03:55And we will also push this out through the app.
03:59Again, the reason I'm letting you guys know all of this is because I want you to know what's happening.
04:02So if you do get questions, you did hear it from me.
04:06But the app, what will happen is on Friday, every Friday, when a team is participating in an event, they
04:13will get a notification that says they can nominate for player of the week if they have anyone that they
04:18believe is deserving.
04:19This will just be a simple pop-up.
04:21That's what this looks like.
04:23The next piece is going to – well, the spotlight will just be – this will essentially be all of
04:27our players of the week.
04:28By the time we launch this, it will be done.
04:30But you guys can see this will be like a Hall of Fame-style thing.
04:33So you go here, you click on – like if we click on it, you'll see that this will be
04:37a photo of the kid that wins for each sport.
04:40And then it will have their name.
04:41It will have a – like something about them, a little short bio, a view original post.
04:47And then you'll see like why this person won, who nominated them, and we'll share their story.
04:53This is our way of creating a community behind this.
04:55The next piece that's going to be happening, and this one is a big one.
04:59So we're building something called the Field Reporter Network.
05:04So essentially what this is is we want kids, players, and parents to join our Field Reporter Network where we
05:13will give them the following.
05:15Essentially this will be a May the 1st through July the 31st program.
05:19It's three months, 13 weeks.
05:21And we want to teach and educate kids, and this is essentially what they'll get, right?
05:25They're going to get featured on our social media channel by some of the videos that they do.
05:30They're going to get a real media portfolio to understand how to do it.
05:34They're going to get exclusive content training.
05:36They're going to get an all-access jersey that we're making.
05:39And we call it career development because they're going to learn skills in communication, leadership, storytelling, things like that.
05:44So essentially here's what we expect from them.
05:49One weekly interview that they submit to us, a monthly meeting on the 1st where they join.
05:54I will host those meetings as well as our marketing team, and we will be educating them on how to
06:00do interviews, asking open-ended questions, what a content calendar looks like.
06:04All of the things that go with building a following, learning social media, things like that, we will be educating
06:10them on.
06:11Professional standards, again, they have to represent.
06:13Again, USSSA, they're not allowed to interview someone that has a USFA shirt on, a perfect game shirt on.
06:20That will not be allowed.
06:22They obviously have to be active members of USSSA.
06:24We're going to have an onboarding portal, and then these are all the things they'll develop.
06:28Again, I'll share the site with you guys.
06:30But so they'll be able to apply on our site right here, and then what we will do is we're
06:37essentially going to select like 25 people in each sport is kind of my goal.
06:43I mean, listen, it could be 10, could be 25.
06:45We're starting out with slow pitch.
06:47That's what we're going to go into next.
06:48But this is what it looks like, okay?
06:50So this is our field reporter network.
06:52We're also going to be offering a top play of the week every Thursday.
06:55So we put five plays.
06:57To be honest, it will most likely be 10, but we want to be careful over promising until we can
07:02start getting some content submitted to us.
07:03So, again, why would they submit it?
07:06We have millions across our platforms.
07:08They're going to get – so inside the app, we're going to make a digital badge that they get in
07:12their player profile that, like, highlights that they were selected for top plays.
07:18And also, by the way, on the player of the week, they will receive a free T-shirt and a
07:23USSSA hat that will be mailed to them, and then they will use that in an interview that we do
07:28with them on Zoom.
07:29And then we will clip that interview again, make, like, a cinematic short piece, and that's how it will be.
07:34So this is basically how the content works.
07:37They capture it, submit it.
07:39Our team reviews it.
07:40We publish it, right?
07:41So that's what this will look like each week.
07:45Again, this will also be in the app.
07:46So every weekend, we will remind them that we are looking for top plays of the week.
07:51And then after the weekend on Monday, we will thank them for participating, and we will ask them to submit
07:56any top plays that they had.
07:58They will all feed into one spot.
08:01So that being said, we are also going to be rolling out, and this is through John.
08:07I'm announcing this before I have all the details.
08:09We actually are not taking applications just yet, but we are going to have a USSSA ambassador program for each
08:16sport where, essentially, that person will represent their sport on that stage.
08:22We will work with them, but I want you guys to know that this will be coming soon.
08:26I will have a page that says coming soon.
08:29Don't worry about that.
08:30I just want you to know if you do get questions, that's what's going to happen from there.
08:34So now, what do we need directors for?
08:37Well, we would love to have you guys help us get involved with everything.
08:43So what we're looking for are directors that might have some staff members or you yourself that would be willing
08:51to film, interview, mic-up coaches, mic-up players, like for one inning, not a full game, do some trends,
08:58some viral things that are going around that we put together.
09:02So that's what we're looking for from directors, and I'm going to show you kind of how this would work.
09:07So let's say that you say yes, like I saw Cindy Hall's on here, Kelly Thorne.
09:13Hey, yes, Cindy Hall says I'm willing to do it.
09:16So we have two options.
09:18If you are, like, used to doing social media and filming and you have no problem approaching people, awesome.
09:24You might not need this part of our help.
09:26But for those of you that aren't sure how this works or aren't sure if you're uncomfortable approaching people to
09:32ask them about filming, we will have something where we would put your event in here.
09:37So let's just say it was like this event, whatever.
09:39First of all, they would select the state first, then it would show the events in that state.
09:42And then what they would do is this would be the content that we are looking for from that event.
09:49So you can see coach, coach, coach, player, player, player, whatever.
09:54So a parent, a coach, everyone, we will send this out for an event that you're willing to do it
09:59at, and we will assign the content that we are looking for, and parents, players, and coaches can sign up
10:06for this, right?
10:07So who runs faster, that would be a challenge, right?
10:10A trend and meme, again, a bottle challenge, why you triple SSA, a parent.
10:15So they would sign up and say, hey, I'm willing to be filmed with this content.
10:20So what that will give you guys is a blueprint of where to start.
10:23So now, that being said, again, I'm trying to get through this fast so I can open it to questions.
10:28I'm going to show you what we will provide you guys, okay?
10:32So let's say Cindy Hall says, Chad, I'm in.
10:36This is the first event I want to do.
10:38So here's how that works.
10:40I would come on here, and let's just say I would just use Florida because I use it all the
10:45time.
10:46So you guys all have state sites.
10:48So let's say that we're going to do the spring showdown with Christian Martinez in wherever, in Florida, right?
10:53So we click on this.
10:54We copy this link from our state site.
10:57On the back end, I would go in here.
10:59I would paste this information right here.
11:01Boom, it will fetch all the information.
11:03I just have to put the – I don't remember what it was called.
11:06I put that on here.
11:07It's got Christian's email phone number.
11:08I save the event.
11:10So now what we would then do is we would go in here, and we would go to a content
11:14manager piece – I'm sorry, an event content.
11:17And then we will have this new event that I just put on, which is Christian's.
11:21So I would click a dropdown, and we would be like, hey, you know, hey, Christian, at this one, we
11:25want to get two mic'd-up coaches or three mic'd-up coaches.
11:29Maybe we want this one, and we want one of this, and we have a bottle challenge, and then maybe
11:34we want this, right?
11:35So then I would save this.
11:37Oh, so what would essentially happen – I had an error on that.
11:40But so basically what would happen is we save this.
11:42Then we will provide you guys something that looks like this.
11:47So let me save it, and I'll open it in my thing here so we can all look at it.
11:52So we would provide you guys a shot list.
11:55So what this QR code is is something you can print this, put it on a clipboard.
12:00You can scan this QR code, and you'll see what the videos would look like.
12:03And we give you a filming tip on what we're looking for.
12:06These are very, very, very simple things that you film with an iPhone.
12:11There is nothing complicated.
12:13And it will literally say, okay, we needed three of these, five of these, player content here, whatever.
12:19So if you have a staff member that you're not fully utilizing that might be getting paid that you'd like
12:24to get more out of it,
12:25you can print this off, give it to them.
12:28They can scan it, see what they need.
12:30They can film, and we'll give them the list of people, again, that sign up.
12:34So I'll go back here to, like, signups.
12:36So if I had a state and I had an event, you can see right here, like, this guy signed
12:41up.
12:42He was willing to be a mic'd-up player for one inning and what's in your bag.
12:45And so that right there is that simple.
12:48We would give you guys this based on your event so you would know who they are, what their email
12:53is, their phone number.
12:53And we also have, like, age and everything else.
12:56So this is how that would work so we can provide you that list, or if you don't want it,
13:00it doesn't matter.
13:01You don't need it.
13:04That's how this whole process in our head will work.
13:07After a weekend, everyone says, how will that work?
13:10This is how it works.
13:11We go to Florida.
13:13We select our event.
13:16Which thing was it that you were uploading?
13:18You drop your videos here.
13:19You submit them.
13:20That's the end of it, okay?
13:22So how do you win in this?
13:25So I'm going to answer that first, then I'm going to come back to this.
13:28So number one, the way you guys win is, A, we're going to build, and you can mark my word,
13:35we are going to build the most successful sports marketing social media company the world has ever seen.
13:42I am telling you right now it's going to happen because the amount of content we're going to get,
13:47we are going to have such a vast array of it, we're going to be building it.
13:51That is going to increase our followers, which will increase our views.
13:56My goal with this is as we get and approach a billion views, it will mean that being a sponsor
14:03with you,
14:03SSSA, becomes infinitely more valuable.
14:06If you are a person contributing to this content, as we unlock that monetary piece,
14:13I will make sure that you guys are a part of it, okay?
14:16That is something that I've already got green light from John to promise.
14:20It is something we can do.
14:22So that will help you.
14:23The second thing is we are going to make it cool to follow USSSA social media and to be a
14:30part of it.
14:31Why do we want to build a field reporter network?
14:33We want to force the kids to film at USSSA events.
14:38And so if they are a part of our network, it is going to be a problem if they try
14:43to film at a perfect game event.
14:45It will be a USFA or a USA fast pitch.
14:47It doesn't matter.
14:48It will be a problem.
14:49So our goal is to over time bring all of this together under one big umbrella,
14:55and then it will branch out on the sports.
14:58But we want to show that we are multifaceted.
15:00So that being said, before this call today, Ryan, I wanted to show you guys,
15:05is there interest in the field reporter network?
15:08Will it work, right?
15:09Everyone says, oh, who will do it, right?
15:10Well, Kelly and I had a call yesterday.
15:13This morning, we sent out an email, and we're talking about adults who don't like being on camera
15:18and don't like being filmed.
15:21This is our field reporter sign-up sheet in the last 30 minutes.
15:26We have Wisconsin, Texas, Florida, Nevada, Washington, Kansas, Indiana, Idaho, Kansas, California, Tennessee.
15:37You guys, you get the idea, right?
15:40You click on a person, we can see.
15:42Do you do social media?
15:43I do snack reviews.
15:44I wanted to get more structured content.
15:47Give us a sample of something.
15:49They're doing it, guys.
15:51It's like, it's already working in the hardest sport we have, which is the adult piece.
15:56So when we open this up to fast pitch, my expectation is we will have hundreds,
16:04if not thousands, of people that are interested.
16:07Because here's why.
16:08We are going to teach them how to build a following on their own through our education.
16:15Over time, this will become a, I'm going to be honest with you guys, over time, we will
16:22have something called a USSSA Content Creators Club that they can join that will be an educational
16:29piece on how to build a following.
16:31So the last thing I'm going to say, and I'll open it up for questions, is when someone says
16:37to me, Chad, I don't care about social media, and I don't care about my kid being a following
16:43or having a following, this is what I want to say.
16:46I got into social media about two years ago because my sister, I told her, she's 16 years
16:52younger than me, and I said, Amber, if I was you, I would have had the biggest social media
16:57following probably in history.
16:59And she goes, it's not as easy as you think.
17:00I was like, okay.
17:02So that day, I grabbed my phone.
17:04I made my first TikTok.
17:05Seven months later, I had 150,000 followers, right?
17:08So then I realized TikTok's actually the worst following.
17:11Instagram's the hardest following.
17:13So I went on to Instagram.
17:14I hired a team of people to help me understand it.
17:19And I grew a following to 80,000 people in about six months.
17:22But more importantly, I'm getting 7 million views a month.
17:25Why does that matter?
17:26I made a video, a random video about Bill Gates's daughter, okay?
17:32Bill Gates's daughter, who has an app where you can take a photo of a high-end luxury shirt
17:39and it shows you used versions you can buy.
17:41I made a video.
17:42So she DM'd me.
17:44We're talking about Bill Gates's daughter, right?
17:47I have had NBA players, Major League Baseball players, all kinds of famous people message me.
17:54Why does that matter, right?
17:56With you, SSSA, and what we're doing, our job as parents and as our – what we are right now
18:03is to open doors for kids, okay?
18:05Whether that means you play NAIA or D3 and you get a scholarship, whatever that means, the only thing I
18:13can tell you is Phoebe Gates would have never known I existed if I didn't take the leap.
18:19So now, that being said, imagine two worlds.
18:23We have two fast-pitch players.
18:24Both are absolute studs on and off the field, 4.0 GPA, great.
18:29One has a following of 200,000 people.
18:32One has no social media.
18:34If I am a college and I have two equal candidates, who would I bring that's going to bring eyeballs
18:42to my program?
18:44It's a fact, okay?
18:45So whether we like it or agree with it, it's the reality.
18:48That is a message that I want to help share with parents, how to do it responsibly, how to do
18:53it in the right way, in the right manner, to tell the right story.
18:59So 21 minutes of talking.
19:01I'm open for questions.
19:03Ryan, if you have any comments, you know, I know you and I have obviously had conversations, but thoughts?
19:08Yeah.
19:09No, it's fantastic stuff.
19:10I think we just opened it up for questions and, you know, a lot of information and a quick amount
19:15of time here.
19:15So let's open it up and see what questions we have.
19:22You may have already mentioned this.
19:24When does this roll out?
19:25When does this actually begin?
19:27Yeah.
19:27Johnny, first of all, thank you.
19:29Is that who just said this?
19:30I can't tell.
19:30I think it was Johnny, right?
19:31First of all, thank you.
19:32So here's the next step.
19:33When we get off this call, I will send Ryan an email that has, like, basically a sign-up sheet
19:38if you are interested in helping.
19:40Okay?
19:40We will then take those.
19:42And then from there, we will reach out to you to figure out if you have specific events, if you
19:46want to do it at all events, maybe you have a staff member.
19:48So we're going to start with that.
19:49And when will this start?
19:51Like, I am a guy.
19:52Ryan will tell you this.
19:53I wanted this yesterday.
19:54So Kelly Thorne can tell you that I had a meeting with their staff actually last week with Bob and
20:00them.
20:00And so this will be starting, like, immediately.
20:04So, Johnny, if you have an event next weekend, I'm ready.
20:09I hope that answers your question.
20:12Yes, great.
20:13Perfect.
20:18Any other questions?
20:20Comment down, Jerry?
20:20Go ahead, Jerry.
20:21So you mentioned iPhone.
20:23Android is fine.
20:24I know you don't like Android, but...
20:26I don't like Android, but I'll let it slide this time.
20:29Yes, Androids are fine.
20:30And just so you know, if you do say that you're interested, we'll send you a simple Amazon link to
20:34a $20 lav mic that you can get that's very simple to use.
20:37You literally plug it into the, I don't know about your Android, but those real iPhone users out there, we
20:42plug it into our iPhone, and it literally plugs onto someone's shirt, and they're mic'd up.
20:46That's it.
20:47When you start recording, the audio will come from that.
20:49It's super simple.
20:50But again, when you sign up, we will do a meeting that's all about training and how that works.
20:55It'll be about a 1, 30, or probably 45 minutes to an hour training session, and you'll leave ultra confident
21:00that you can do it.
21:01I promise.
21:04So, I currently do it now with the little mic up, like we did the OKC World, the Road to
21:10the Show.
21:11That was really popular.
21:12So, how do we take the stuff that we're doing for Facebook and put it onto your...
21:17Love it.
21:18Okay, so that's actually amazing.
21:19I'm glad that you said that.
21:20So, we would want the raw footage.
21:22We will edit it.
21:23When we get footage from you, we will have a spot on the back end where we post all edited
21:27footage.
21:28You will be able to download that footage and post it on your story and your content as well.
21:33So, it will be an interactive sharing platform.
21:35The site that I showed you guys, you'll have a login to it.
21:39This will probably, in the beginning, we'll probably have to, you know, have little quick meetings short, you know, periodically
21:44just to make sure we're all aligned, like after an event, if you're trying to upload content.
21:48But our team of people, I've got them on here.
21:50They're all able to help, and we will all be well-versed, and you'll have a very simple tutorial on
21:55how to do it.
22:00So, Chad, this is not just for state directors.
22:04Like, I've invited...
22:04I invited some of my tournament directors across the state of Iowa to be on here.
22:09So, they can do this as well.
22:12Everyone.
22:13So, Kelly, I think an ideal world actually is that everyone does it, right?
22:18Because there is a world where eventually we want to tell stories, right?
22:22Like, I'll just tell you guys this.
22:24Last year, two things happened to me that stood out that bothered me that were never told.
22:29So, you guys, I don't know if you guys know this, but I do a Future Stars event for baseball,
22:32and at this thing, I did it at Space Coast, and I give a speech with, like, I go all
22:37out to do a speech.
22:38Well, I had a kid who emailed me, or his mom emailed me and told me about her son.
22:44And her son didn't have the money to come to the event, and what he did was so fascinating to
22:51me.
22:51He did a fundraiser where he made a calendar, and on, like, the first, he put 20 push-ups, and
22:56he sold it for $10.
22:58The next day, he put, like, run five foul poles, and it was $20.
23:02And the other one was 10 push-ups.
23:03And this kid raised enough money for him and his mom to come to Space Coast and stay in a
23:10hotel for a week.
23:12That, to me, is a story that shouldn't be told.
23:15Another one was a mom who was at Panama City Beach this summer, and her son had passed away from
23:22a car wreck.
23:23And she travels to every single event for the last year and a half that his team was on because
23:31it makes her feel him.
23:33How do we not tell that story, right?
23:36Like, but the thing is, we don't know these people.
23:39You guys know these people.
23:41You guys know this, right?
23:42So when we give you a platform to tell the story, think of how much more valuable we all become
23:48together.
23:49I mean, Ryan knows, I've said this a thousand times, put all the brains together.
23:52We have the biggest youth sports brain in the world.
23:55I want to do that for our story.
23:57We have the biggest story never told.
24:01I know that was a long answer, Kelly, but I hope it answers your question.
24:09So, Chad.
24:10Any other questions?
24:10Hey, Cindy, I was hoping you'd say something.
24:12Girl, how you doing?
24:14I'm good.
24:15Since you subliminally volunteered me, or whatever, I would be interested in trying this.
24:23So how do I officially sign up?
24:26Yeah, I'm going to send.
24:27So what I'm going to do tomorrow is send Ryan an email to send to everyone who is interested.
24:31It'll just be a simple sign up form.
24:33And then what we will do is once I'll give everyone like 72 hours to sign up.
24:37First of next week, probably.
24:39I mean, maybe the end of this week if everyone does it quickly.
24:41But first of next week, we'll do a meeting with everyone that's interested.
24:45And it will be a 100% like how to get it done and exactly what you need.
24:50I will leave no stones unturned.
24:52I promise.
24:55Okay, perfect.
24:57Awesome.
25:03Anyone else that have any questions?
25:05Chad, that would be me.
25:06Comments, concerns?
25:08Yes, sir.
25:08I have a question.
25:09How are you?
25:10What's up, man?
25:11Good.
25:11How are you?
25:12I'm good, man.
25:13Thanks.
25:14I heard you mention baseball, fast pitch, slow pitch.
25:18Yes, sir.
25:19I do USSSA basketball as well.
25:22Amazing.
25:24Hell yes, it would be.
25:26Yeah, because there's a lot of marketing and stuff like getting involved in basketball.
25:31I'm actually paying right now for the marketing and the advertisement.
25:34So I'm really glad this has come along.
25:37Very, very happy.
25:38Well, Jimmy, you know, I do.
25:40I do want to make sure that, you know, I clarify.
25:42I think a lot of times when it comes to marketing in general, you know, I think directors look to
25:47you, triple SA to like help fill events.
25:50Right.
25:50And I think over the years that kind of got distorted about like what is marketing for an organization like
25:56who we are look like.
25:57Right.
25:57And the truth of the matter is, I really believe and maybe we all disagree.
26:01I don't know, but I really believe it's our job to build a reputation for the brand where people feel
26:08like, you know, I don't know, Jimmy, if you've ever been to the convention or you've heard me talk about
26:12the app.
26:13But I told everyone when we made this app, my goal was it would be like, you know, Jerry making
26:20me trade phones with him for a day or anyone on this call, because I'm assuming everyone else has an
26:24iPhone.
26:25Jerry giving us his Android and all of us like hating life until we just can't wait till we get
26:31it back.
26:31And my goal with the app was to make our events so noticeably better from a communication perspective that when
26:38you play somewhere else, it's noticeable.
26:40So now the next piece of this puzzle is telling a story and making people feel something.
26:48Right.
26:48Because if you've ever watched a movie, how do you watch a movie and get emotional?
26:52Right.
26:52We want to create that feeling of playing with you, triple SA, that it's more than just a weekend tournament.
26:58It's more.
26:59It is more than that.
27:00Right.
27:00This is a journey and this is a life choice.
27:03And these are core memories.
27:05These are core friendships.
27:07These are networking opportunities.
27:09These are doors being opened.
27:10And if you can't tell, I'm pretty fucking passionate about this.
27:13I like it.
27:14And I like it.
27:15But Jerry, I'm so glad you said basketball.
27:18Amen.
27:19Yes, we can talk separately about what we can do together because you are a very, very, very small piece
27:25of it that we would like to be a lot bigger.
27:27All right.
27:28Well, I do fast pitch and slow pitch as well.
27:30Awesome.
27:31I do a lot of basketball.
27:34And Jerry, you're not the only one that has an Android, buddy.
27:37I'm with you.
27:38Oh, God.
27:39I got one, too.
27:40I got one, too.
27:41Can we mute both of these guys?
27:43Team A and Android, Jerry.
27:46Here we go.
27:47No problem, buddy.
27:48Courtney, I saw you turn your camera on.
27:50I'm assuming you're with Andy.
27:55Yes.
27:56And this was all fantastic because it's all stuff that we've been working on getting prepared to do, especially for
28:04our nationals this summer.
28:06So this is, like, perfect timing and, like, perfect.
28:09So thank you.
28:10Well, and, Courtney, to your point, I want to point out something, too.
28:13And this is obviously with Ryan's blessing, but I think he knows I have no bad intentions.
28:17I would think that moving forward eventually, I would like to do more of either a monthly or bi-monthly
28:22call where we educate people on social media, right?
28:26Because one of the issues that you have is that, like, we have an AAG thing.
28:31You have a select 30.
28:34You have this.
28:34You have that, right?
28:35But people don't really understand how a following truly works and what it means, you know?
28:40And I think we need to start educating our group of people so together we all come up.
28:47And I think that's how we all win in the end.
28:50Yeah, I love that because my actual career prior to this was athletic training.
28:55So I'm literally just winging the marketing thing.
28:58Awesome.
28:59Well, since you said that, let me show, you know, I don't really know, Ryan.
29:02I'll be really quick on this.
29:03But I want to share with you guys.
29:05I want to show you what this really looks like.
29:08And I don't know if those of you that remember working with me with the app, but I'm big about
29:12sharing knowledge.
29:14Actually, a lot of times causes me a lot of headaches personally.
29:17But I wanted to show you guys this is what our social media calendar looks like.
29:23So we're just getting started.
29:24So we're getting ready to start posting.
29:26And so each one of these are different posts that we're going to be making.
29:30So with USSS, we're going to start out actually next week.
29:32We're going to start posting once a day.
29:34After two weeks, we'll be ramped up to three times a day.
29:37But the way this works is we basically study viral videos.
29:43We study intros.
29:45We study different things.
29:47And so what we end up doing is we put this together for our staff internally.
29:50So we have a reference video that shows, like, what it is we're trying to recreate and why.
29:56We make a script, right?
29:57So if we have a script, if we need it, we'll put it together.
30:00So you can see this is a field capture brief.
30:02It's a water bottle target challenge.
30:04So this is what it looks like.
30:05Like, then what we do once we edit a video, if we have the video edited, we put it there.
30:10If it's a carousel, what does it look like?
30:12If there's a design on it, what does it look like?
30:14Everything goes together, right?
30:17And so the way it works, and most people, again, this is just another piece of knowledge for those of
30:22you that aren't sure how things, you know, how it works, is like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook.
30:28They all have a rating system.
30:30So if you – the reason that a following is so important for it to be the right following is
30:35let's say that you get a bunch of people to follow you and you do this blitz and it's not
30:38your audience.
30:40But then when you make a piece of content and you share it, here's what Instagram says.
30:44It says, oh, Courtney posted something.
30:46She's got 1,000 followers.
30:48Let's show 200 of them.
30:49And then they see it and they swipe immediately.
30:52Well, Instagram says, dude, if her followers don't like that, there's a 0% chance we're showing it to other
30:58people because Instagram's objective is to keep people on the platform, right?
31:03And so we have to understand that.
31:05So the way that we work, and I'll tell you from a personal standpoint, my personal channel, the way we
31:10do it, is we have the ability to do test audiences.
31:13So let's say I put a video.
31:14I test it with five audiences of 100 people.
31:18We look at what does well because we do it with different hooks.
31:21Same video, different hook.
31:23Whichever one does the best, we take that video, and that's what we're going to post to our audience.
31:29And so Instagram gives us the luxury because we are high-quality content creators that are consistently posting high-quality
31:37content.
31:37So these are things that, again, these break-off sessions that we can do where even if you aren't interested
31:43in posting social media, you can learn a lot from how we do it.
31:47So just wanted to share that.
31:49Yeah, any other questions?
31:50Sorry, guys, I just – you know, I can go down a rabbit hole because I've learned so much.
31:53I'm, like, bursting at the seams to get it all out there, you know?
32:03All right.
32:04So, Chad, next steps, it sounds like you'll send me the sign-up sheet.
32:10It'll be tomorrow morning.
32:11I'll send it to you tonight, but if you can send it out tomorrow, that would be next, yes.
32:14Okay, yeah, I'll plan on first thing tomorrow morning.
32:16I'll send out both that, guys, and the link to the recording because I've had a couple people text me
32:23that weren't able to hop on.
32:25So I'll shoot that out.
32:26I'm going to get it out on the same thread I sent to state directors, so please forward it on
32:30to anybody and everybody else that's on this call that I don't have their contact info and email for.
32:35But we'll get that out first thing tomorrow morning.
32:39Awesome.
32:39Thank you, guys, for jumping on and taking the time to, you know, hear what we're working on, and hopefully
32:43you guys can help us and contribute to it.
32:45And it does mean a lot for us and for you, SSSA, as a whole, and it means a lot
32:49to me, too.
32:50So thank you, guys.
32:51Thank you, Ryan.
32:52Appreciate it, man.
32:53You bet.
32:53Good stuff.
32:54Thanks, Chad.
32:54We'll see you all.
32:55All right.
32:55Have a good day, guys.
32:56Jerry, Kelly, good to see you guys.
32:57Cindy, good to see you guys.
32:59Where's Lori at, by the way?
33:01I'm going to call her right now.
33:02She's on here.
33:03Is she?
33:04She was.
33:05Yeah, I saw her on here.
33:06I'm calling her right now.
33:07She's just really quiet.
33:08Hey, I'm on here.
33:10Hey, where are you at, girl?
33:12Turn your camera on.
33:13I couldn't get on it.
33:15I didn't have any questions because I didn't see the first 15 minutes.
33:21I'll do a recap for you.
33:23I'll do a recap.
33:23Oh, it wouldn't let you in?
33:25Right.
33:27It was your Android, wasn't it?
33:31Hold on.
33:31Say I'm Android, Chad.
33:32Hold on one second.
33:34Hold on one second.
33:35Say I'm Android.
33:42Oh, I love you, Lori.
33:43How you doing, girl?
33:45I'm good.
33:45How are you?
33:47I'm doing well, man.
33:48I'm doing well.
33:50Put a lot into this.
33:51A lot of time and effort into trying to get this thing working.
33:56Sounds like it.
33:57Something's going to happen one way or another.
33:59Sounds exciting.
33:59I just don't know what it is because I missed the first 15 minutes.
34:02I'll send you a link to it, but it's USSSAContent.com.
34:06If you go on there, you can read the pages, kind of like what we're doing.
34:09I just didn't want you guys to get your people to get an email and you not know what it
34:14was.
34:14So that way, if someone asks, you can answer it.
34:17And then we also need help from directors.
34:19But I can share that with you.
34:21It's not a problem.
34:21Just sign up.
34:22You'll be fine.
34:23I promise.
34:25You got people.
34:26You got people.
34:29You know what I love is we end the call and we still keep.
34:32You know, 20 people on here.
34:34That's what I love.
34:35So.
34:37All right, Lori.
34:38Good seeing you guys.
34:39Hey, thank you guys again.
34:40And enjoy your day.
34:41See you guys.
34:42Bye.
34:42Bye.
