00:00Where do you land on the idea of Vegas thinking, you know what?
00:04Maybe it's a blessing in disguise.
00:06We're going to keep our defensive, you know, best player in Max Crosby.
00:12I have no problem with it.
00:15As long as he's healthy and, you know, able, I think he's a benefit to that team.
00:21Clearly, he's the best defensive player.
00:23You can make the argument he's the best overall player on both sides of the football.
00:27And the sell, I don't believe, is that hard to get Max Crosby back.
00:32If Max wasn't happy with the organization at the end of last year, Pete Carroll's gone.
00:38The people that made those decisions potentially, you know, during the regular season are no longer there.
00:44Mark Davis, okay, maybe you have a problem with him, but he's still the guy paying you.
00:49And you have a new head coach, a head coach that just won a Super Bowl as one of the
00:55hottest play callers in the NFL.
00:57And, oh, by the way, he's going to get the quarterback of the future.
01:00So, to me, it's not that hard of a sell to bring back Max Crosby.
01:05The problem is, how disrespected does Crosby feel that he can't go back?
01:16And, you know, the sell for me would be, hey, Max, it's a business.
01:20You know that.
01:20We want you back.
01:22All things considered, we want to win a championship.
01:24We have Kubiak now.
01:26We have the young quarterback.
01:27Help us get there.
01:28I mean, I think there's a 70-30 shot.
01:33They keep Max Crosby, and he's there in 2026, Kevin.
01:38I love the question because I think it's probably on people's mind of did the Raiders and Crosby reach a
01:46point of no return?
01:48I think Baltimore looks so bad in this process.
01:54We can debate how bad Baltimore looks to, you know, the other 30 organizations, okay, and how this landed for
02:04them.
02:05But I know for both Las Vegas and Crosby individually, the bad guy here is Baltimore.
02:15And I think Max can probably look at Vegas and be like, look, I get it, right?
02:22Like you said, a business, and I was going to have the opportunity to go win some football games, right?
02:26I mean, Baltimore is going to have one of the highest win totals.
02:28I mean, they'll have it without them.
02:29One of the highest win totals in football.
02:31But, hey, you know what?
02:32I've always wanted to be here.
02:35Not a Raider, but, like, once I became this, this is what I wanted.
02:42And that's where I, like you, am open to the idea of Crosby sticking around because you have a brand
02:52new head coach, brand new franchise quarterback, right?
02:57And this is a Raiders team, unlike Dolphins, right?
03:03Or, I don't know, Browns, Jets, whomever it might be, where, hey, we won three games, but, like, we're going
03:10to be fine.
03:11We're going to draft quarterback.
03:12This is a Raiders team who wins seven games and feels amazing.
03:16Amazing with seven wins.
03:18And if they can get more, they can get more.
03:20But to have a leader, like, not all guys are leaders, right, Joe?
03:26I think Crosby's won.
03:28And without him, defensively, you know, you're like, eh.
03:33But now you think, whoa, they got Taron Johnson on the cheap.
03:36Really good player out of Buffalo.
03:38N'Kobe Dean went healthy.
03:39Really good player out of Philly, right?
03:41Georgia linebacker.
03:42I know you're a big fan of N'Kobe Dean here.
03:45This is a Raider team.
03:46I mean, Joe, Crosby, in this situation, he might be worth a full win on a win total here
03:53when we talk about Las Vegas.
03:54Yeah, absolutely.
03:55And if you're building for the future, Kevin, you have a foundation and a team captain, to
04:01your point, that the younger players can learn from.
04:05And again, now with the big three, Bowers, Gentry, and, you know, most likely Mendoza with
04:12Kubiak, offensively, we know they're going to come into their own.
04:16It's a matter of, can they build around the defense?
04:19And it's much easier to do that with Max Crosby in the lineup than with him out of it.
04:25Let's go.
