00:28they took care of howard and i was more impressed with them and what they did against st louis
00:37um the fact that again you know okay howard hits a couple of threes they're they're launching them
00:42from everywhere in the first half what were you gonna have to do against st louis you're gonna
00:45have to adjust your defense you're gonna have to get out and and push it out just a little bit
00:48further they did everything they had to do against the team that was scary i don't want to say
00:55necessarily a threat but they were kind of scary in regards to what could possibly happen
00:59on michigan state side of things they found the three-point line and they are much more accurate
01:06behind it that's the biggest thing i mean michigan michigan did what they're gonna do
01:11they're gonna overwhelm you i mean they were clowning st louis yaxl's throwing full court alley-oops
01:19tomorrow tomorrow's looking over both shoulders and leaving uh milk chamberlain spinning yax is
01:25throwing down dunks going to the hoop with authority like they they look like the best team in the
01:30tournament right now they do duke's had some issues michigan has looked like the best team
01:36for msu that's maybe the biggest surprise is a team that struggled shooting at times this season
01:40might be finding it at the right time on the year they would make seven threes per game
01:46double digits in each of their first two tournament games on the year they shot 35
01:5245 in the tournament and it's not one guy like it's it'd be nice if one guy was reliable and
01:58consistent but i really think their formula is it could be somebody different every game it was four
02:01guys who made multiple threes against louisville that's the key yeah kohler had a couple and cohen
02:07car knocked down a couple that's probably as big as anything yeah but fort including a four-point play
02:12that gives them another gear against yukon it's gonna be a battle on the boards but if you could
02:20knock down a couple shots game's a one and a half point spread right now and we mentioned duke in
02:26their region i mean duke was running into issues with tcu it's still in my opinion still the toughest
02:33region that is in the tournament agreed but you feel better about their ability to pull off
02:41a big time win because they can knock down a couple extra shots sure and the way that jeremy
02:46fears is playing the way he's distributing the ball the way he creates penetration he creates
02:50everything for that offense and now it's the other guys that are stepping up to take advantage of that
02:55and the fact that hey they they start off against nodak state and it was a no doubter it was

03:02and then against louisville it was kind of the same thing it was it was closer it was a little

03:07back and forth early on but it just it felt like they were always in control of the game i

03:12know that i doubted that they were going to win that game in the final couple of minutes of of
03:17competition whatever you thought of both these teams coming into the tournament i think you feel
03:21better today because michigan you lose to purdue and they had played a lot of close games at the end
03:26of the season especially after the injury to uh lj casen michigan has looked as good as you could
03:35expect and i think if there were some concerns they may be quieting them for msu yeah i think
03:40you're making yourself more than a puncher's chance so it's a couple big 10 teams that i think are
03:43playing well right now but it's it's not the only couple teams you got six in the sweet 16 now

03:53you're going to take the big 10 or the field
03:56so the field still gives you 10 teams versus six and the field gives you multiple one seeds

04:19the big 10 is going to have i mean they haven't won since izzo in 2000 well they're certainly going

04:51play 40 minutes then i think they've got a great shot of coming away they're also a team that has
04:57to be really good behind the arc i wouldn't fault someone if they just said i'm taking the big 10
05:00because i got the best team in michigan but then i tell you you may have half of the elite

05:05or all of the final four or maybe all the final four which is not going to happen or maybe

05:10national title itself when michigan plays michigan state it's it's it's exciting time to be a big 10
05:16fan and and whether it's it's your school my school our school it doesn't matter it's it's
05:21it coming out of the opening weekend there's a lot of excitement about what the big 10
05:27is doing and this is the first time in the history of the big 10 that they've had six
05:31teams in the sweet 16 i don't think it's the last time well this does feel like we've seen it

05:37college football where the big 10 has taken over yep and are we seeing it in college basketball now it
05:42doesn't do us any good unless they win it right but the odds are as high as they've been to

05:47point they haven't had this many teams this far in and it's not like they're a bunch of underdogs
05:52moving forward there's a path to getting multiple teams in the final four and a team playing for the
05:56national title text says i'm shocked that msu won a single game let alone beat louisville i still
06:01think we'll get killed versus yukon see i don't have that same feeling i don't have that feeling at
06:06all i got a lot more confidence now than i did entering the tournament as a spartan fan who's watched
06:11every game they've played i'm very encouraged by the last two games i think they're playing their
06:16best basketball right now if they keep playing this brand i think they have a chance to beat anybody
06:21i think that's more the way i would say i feel right now yeah and the bigger threat obviously the
06:27next threat is yukon but i honestly i might say whoever comes out of that michigan state yukon game
06:36i might favor to come out of that bracket that bracket winner that game goes to indy
