00:00I love that you recently got handed about your experience on Desperate Housewives and being let go of that.
00:06Can you tell me how that kind of influenced and shaped your career a little bit?
00:12Well, I think being reduced to a reoccurring character after being a series regular for the first season on Desperate
00:19Housewives,
00:20it really motivated me to grow my career.
00:24At that time, I had booked John Tucker Must Die, but had not yet shot it.
00:30So it wasn't as much of a blow as it might have been had I not had John Tucker Must
00:35Die in the works.
00:37But, you know, this industry is incredibly challenging.
00:40You've got to believe in yourself.
00:42You've got to stay resilient.
00:45And that's what I've done during my 27-year career.
00:48And is there anyone you still talk to on the cast from Desperate Housewives?
00:52Oh, I mean, I still talk to Eva Longoria from time to time.
00:56I absolutely love Marsha Cross.
00:57You know, saw her in an off-Broadway production in New York City a couple of years ago.
01:02She was really touched that I showed up and supported her.
01:06And, you know, I've just always been a huge fan of her, especially as an actor.
01:09I think she's incredibly talented.
01:11It's great to see Felicity Huffman, you know, working a lot again because she's an incredible talent.
01:17So, you know, honestly, I loved everybody on the show.
