00:00You see what's coming here? It's the winner's face! Oh, man!
00:04Welcome to Ms. Mojo.
00:06And today, we're counting down our picks for the most underappreciated, unsung heroes
00:10throughout the history of WWE women's division, who deserve a lot more love than they've received.
00:16I like it. So far, so good. See, I can referee and I can ref.
00:21Number 10. Chelsea Green
00:23Don't take only our admiration for America's head of state.
00:27As actor, Vanessa Hudgens is also a big fan of Chelsea.
00:30Even from her days as the crazed Laurel Van Ness in TNA,
00:34it was clear to see she should be a star on the wrestling scene.
00:37She is one half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions, Chelsea Green!
00:46A champion in many of the promotions she's appeared in, following Chelsea's return to WWE in 2023,
00:52it didn't take her long to become a fan favorite with her stellar character work and doing whatever
00:58was asked of her.
00:59You give her 30 seconds, and she will get more out of that 30 seconds than somebody will with a
01:0430-minute match.
01:05This led to calls for more mid-card titles for women to give Chelsea something,
01:09since she wasn't around the women's championship scene.
01:12So in 2024, the Canadian became the inaugural Women's United States Champion.
01:17The inaugural Women's United States Champion, Chelsea Green!
01:28Number 9. Jazz
01:29Debuting as a professional wrestler in 1998 and at WWE in 2001 after working in ECW,
01:37Jazz is rarely mentioned when it comes to the greatest women wrestlers of all time.
01:40Yet if you ask those who've stepped into the ring, several, such as Naomi,
01:45have pointed to her as being a trendsetter for black wrestlers alongside Jaclyn.
01:50But they know when business is business.
01:53And this is business.
01:55No, this should be enough.
01:56Oh, wait a second.
01:56What you doing?
01:57Jazz getting a little cocky.
01:59I like it.
02:00The latter has also stated that Jazz is an unsung hero of the industry.
02:04Upon her return in WWE, Jazz broke the mold in a division that prioritized
02:08looks over dominating ring skills.
02:11Oh, I get this.
02:13You get it, Kane?
02:15She's just jealous.
02:16Jealous?
02:17You want some of this, don't you?
02:18Give me a break!
02:20Rather than fading into obscurity following her release from WWE in 2006,
02:25Jazz elevated women's wrestling by working in many promotions,
02:28including the NWA, where she became the head of its women's division.
02:32Jazz reverses, I'm grabbing the tights, I'll wait a second.
02:36Did we just see?
02:37I don't know what we just saw.
02:39Oh, you know what we saw.
02:40And still, women's to the end.
02:42We saw this victory by Jazz.
02:44Number 8.
02:45Melina.
02:46Nowadays, Melina's known for her association with the trio Eminem
02:49and the love triangle story between John Nitro slash Morrison and Batista.
02:54Yet she is a legend in her own right.
02:56After all, Melina was the first woman to have multiple reigns
02:59with the WWE Divas and Women's Championships.
03:02Winning the belts twice and three times, respectively.
03:05Melina took advantage of Nikki's head.
03:10Here's your winner.
03:11And new WWE Women's Champion, Melina.
03:16Bret Hart is often considered one of the greatest to perform in the ring.
03:20As such, his opinion carries weight.
03:22Well, in 2009, the hitman labeled Melina as, quote,
03:25the best wrestler in the world right now.
03:28Melina's the Divas Champion.
03:33The winner of this match, the new Divas Champion, Melina.
03:40A year later, some fans believe Melina was buried by the company,
03:44which perhaps caused her talent to fall in their estimation,
03:47leading to her being considered underrated.
03:49Oh my goodness, I've been crying all day.
03:51Oh my goodness, I keep putting my makeup back on because I keep crying.
03:55Everybody's just, it's good to see everybody.
03:57This is family.
03:58This is home.
03:59Number seven, Candice LeRae.
04:01In 2023, when asked who he believed the most underrated wrestler was,
04:05Johnny Gargano named Candice.
04:07Granted, they're married in real life, but the sentiment remains.
04:10Candice LeRae, one of the most decorated female superstars in the game,
04:16the wife of Johnny Wrestling, Johnny Gargano, who we just saw compete moments ago.
04:22After making her name as a machine on the independent scene,
04:25regularly being involved in intergender matches and promotions like Pro Wrestling Guerrilla,
04:30Candice impressed at 2017's Mae Young Classic, leading to her joining NXT in 2018.
04:36It's openings like this where Candice LeRae needs to take advantage,
04:39and she needs to do it quickly.
04:40Boom, just like that.
04:42Get that cover and get it done quick.
04:44However, rather than let the courageous fighter take over the division,
04:47she was often used in Johnny stories, which Triple H admitted held her back.
04:52Even though Candice was the inaugural Women's Speed Champion in 2024,
04:56the belt has lost legitimacy since.
04:58In 2025, one of the best wrestlers, Rhea Ripley,
05:02declared that Candice was underappreciated and deserved more opportunities at WWE.
05:06Shoots to half, the cover, the count.
05:09And Wade Barrett, you were correct.
05:13Here is the winner, Candice LeRae!
05:16Number 6, Katie Lee.
05:18Katie Lee Burchell!
05:21There is the Queen of Chaos, the Scarlet Witch,
05:25the sadistic sibling of Paul Burchell, Katie Lee Burchell.
05:28When fans look back at Katie's career at the Fed,
05:31one of the main things that comes to mind is the uncomfortable storyline of her and Paul Burchell being too
05:36close for storyline siblings.
05:38As such, the rest of her career is swept under the rug.
05:41However, before those weird days,
05:43while Katie was in the WWE development brand OVW,
05:46she was involved in the company's first women's ladder match,
05:49where she successfully beat Beth Phoenix.
05:51Hopefully that works as Nikki Bella,
05:54sent to the outside by Katie Lee Burchell.
05:57Oh wow!
05:58Despite pitching many ideas to WWE's creative,
06:01who ignored them,
06:02Katie was released in 2010.
06:04She then joined TNA as Winter
06:06and showed her previous employers why she's now considered underrated,
06:09as she became a two-time Knockouts Champion
06:12and won the division's tag titles.
06:14We're in control right now of the sister of Paul Burchell, Katie Lee.
06:19Oh, very smart.
06:21Caught her going for a cross-body block,
06:24turning it into a backbreaker.
06:26Number 5, Jacqueline.
06:28Considering Jim Ross' vast legacy in the wrestling industry,
06:31when he described Jacqueline as, quote,
06:32one of, if not the most underrated female performers
06:35ever to work in the wrestling business,
06:38you know how underappreciated she was.
06:40Well, I would like to get in the ring with them too
06:42and teach them how to wrestle.
06:44Yeah, I would like to really wrestle, okay?
06:45So maybe like a handicap match?
06:46Come on, like they're the top contender for that belt,
06:49the women's title?
06:50Give me a break, coach.
06:51Get real.
06:52After a brief WWE stint
06:54following working in many other promotions,
06:56such as WCW,
06:58Jacqueline rejoined the Fed in 1998.
07:00Instantly, she was put into a feud
07:02with the company's biggest female star, Sable.
07:04Jacqueline would go on to beat her
07:06to win the women's championship,
07:07a belt that had been defunct since 1995.
07:11Camaro with an assist!
07:13New World War II Federation Women's Champion!
07:17She'd go on to win it two times altogether.
07:19Yet in her later WWE career,
07:21Jacqueline took on the men.
07:23In 2004, she beat Chavo Guerrero
07:25to become the Cruiserweight Champion.
07:27Here is your winner and the new
07:32WWE Cruiserweight Champion,
07:35Jacqueline!
07:36Oh my God!
07:37Number 4, Victoria.
07:39If you're encouraged to take up wrestling by Chyna,
07:42one of the industry's most trailblazing professionals,
07:44you're probably set to be an icon,
07:46like Victoria.
07:47With the devastating Widow's Peak finisher in her arsenal,
07:51Victoria quickly became a standout woman in the division.
07:53Oh, look, it's cranky.
07:55Oh, no, no, look at this!
07:57Oh!
07:58What was that?
07:59Not only is Victoria's career as a whole considered underrated,
08:03but so is her rivalry with Trish Stratus,
08:05which brought out their best.
08:07Trish has been a vocal advocate in stating
08:09that Victoria is an unsung hero of wrestling,
08:12and she should be in the WWE's Hall of Fame.
08:15Victoria, not only a strong woman,
08:18but a girl with a lot of style and flair.
08:21Oh, Stratus, unsung for the win!
08:24A two-time women's champion,
08:27Victoria left WWE in 2009 and joined TNA.
08:30Renamed Tara, she became a cornerstone of the division,
08:34winning the Knockouts Championship five times
08:36and the tag team titles.
08:39Victoria got the Widow's Peak on Lena!
08:41Victoria hits the Widow's Peak!
08:43It's a cover!
08:45Victoria has got it!
08:48Victoria's a new champion!
08:49Number 3, Gail Kim.
08:51Not many wrestlers make their main televised roster debut in WWE and win a title.
08:57Yet in 2003, that's what Gail did when she succeeded in a battle royal for the women's championship.
09:02And new WWE Women's Champion, Gail Kim!
09:06I think even Gail Kim can't believe it!
09:08Her first appearance on Raw!
09:10She's done the impossible, JR!
09:12Strangely, WWE battle royals and Gail would regularly connect.
09:16Her last match in 2004 was in one.
09:19Her first WrestleMania appearance upon returning in 2008 was in a battle royal.
09:23As such, it was fitting that Gail's last WWE outing was when she eliminated herself in a battle royal in
09:302011.
09:40Gail has since pointed her departure at then-owner Vince McMahon for suppressing the women's division.
09:45She soon proved herself right at TNA when she became a legend of the knockouts division,
09:50especially with her feud with Awesome Kong.
09:53Their main eventing manias, the women there are killing it, like they're doing so well.
09:58This is all I ever, ever wanted for women's wrestling, and it's happening.
10:04Number 2, Eve Torres.
10:06The number one in the match, and new WWE Divas Champion, Eve Torres!
10:14Everyone remembers feeling horror when Eve kissed John Cena in front of an injured Zack Ryder
10:19as he pathetically held gifts in 2012.
10:22Sadly, that became what she was best known for.
10:24Yet, it really shouldn't, as she's in fact a record holder.
10:28After bursting onto the WWE scene from winning the 2007 Divas search,
10:33at 2012's Night of Champions, Eve defeated Layla to become a three-time Divas Champion.
10:38Divas Champion, Eve Torres!
10:41Well, she wasn't even scheduled to compete tonight, but Eve is the Divas Champion.
10:47This made her the Guinness World Record holder for most reigns with the belt,
10:51an achievement that AJ Lee would also share with Eve.
10:53With the Divas Championship being defunct, this record may never be broken.
10:58Eve would depart wrestling in 2013 by losing her title to Caitlyn,
11:02but forever holding a place in our hearts.
11:04I quit! I quit!
11:06Because the people like you, and them,
11:11before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
11:16Emma, the Australian helped ignite the women's revolution with her NXT work with Paige.
11:21What's with this new Emma?
11:23Where does this new Emma come from?
11:24The new Emma?
11:25Oh, no, no, no.
11:26This is just the real Emma.
11:28NXT TakeOver started with NXT Arrival,
11:31and in case you forgot, that started with me.
11:34Caitlyn, her feud with former tag partner AJ Lee was one of the industry's best at the time.
11:49Serena Deeb, best known for shaving her head,
11:52Serena established herself as one of the best in the ring.
11:55And then I started wrestling.
11:56After WWE, I continued to travel the world,
12:00wrestling in various countries, all over the U.S., Canada.
12:04Jillian Hall.
12:05Overshadowed with horrible gimmicks,
12:07Jillian didn't get the appreciation she deserved.
12:10I think he had her foot on the ropes.
12:12And the referee was making the three count.
12:16Jillian really got away with one here.
12:18Jillian is the new Divas Champion.
12:20Before we continue, be sure to subscribe to our channel

12:27You have the option to be notified for occasional videos or all of them.
12:32If you're on your phone, make sure you go into your settings and switch on notifications.
12:37Number 1. Natalya
12:38With six Guinness World Records, including most WWE women's matches and wins,
12:44a constant in-the-reality show Total Divas,
12:46and a graduate of the Heart Dungeon,
12:48you'd expect no one to underestimate Natalya.
12:52I am the women's champion.
12:58No matter what happens from this point on in my career,
13:01I can say I touched my wildest dream.
13:04Yet the WWE, for some reason, has throughout her long career.
13:08One of the best women in the ring,
13:10Natty has been a stalwart of the WWE since debuting on the main roster in 2008.
13:16Sharpshooter!
13:17Shade to the Hulk Foundation!
13:19Walked in!
13:21Terry Writhing in pain!
13:23Has no choice from to tap out!
13:26Yet during all that time,
13:27instead of holding an obscene number of titles,
13:30Natalya, at the time of writing,
13:31has only won the Divas,
13:33Tag Team,
13:33and SmackDown Women's Championships once each.
13:36She deserves plaudits alone
13:38for managing to survive that dreadful farting gimmick.
13:47No Eve, that stinks.
13:50Hopefully with her recent return,
13:52Natty won't be underrated anymore.
13:54Because Natalya elevates.
14:00But Natty decimates.
14:04Are there any other underrated WWE women's wrestlers we missed in the video?
14:08Let us know below.
