00:13is set on a fictive island in South East Asia.
00:17It's called Panao.
00:20Panao is like a pressure cooker
00:22ready to explode when Rico gets here.
00:26It's one of those little islands
00:27that it used to be a Dutch colony
00:30and then it used to be a Portuguese colony
00:32and then for a while it was a British colony
00:33and it's been horribly mistreated
00:36by the world's powers all along.
00:38And when it became a republic,
00:39of course it became a corrupt republic.
00:44It's a really big world actually.
00:46It's really hard to even almost
00:47to get a grip on how big it is just by numbers.
00:50It's over 1,000 square kilometers.
00:52We have
00:53five different climate zones.
00:55It ranges from arctic zones
00:57on top of mountains and goes down through
00:59different types of jungle, woods
01:01and we have a desert environment
01:03and we have tropical beaches
01:05with a beautiful ocean.
01:08All the different climate zones
01:09in the world has its own weather system.
01:12If you're driving on the road
01:13you may see clouds starting to gather.
01:15The sky will start to get darker.
01:17Then sunlight starts to rain
01:18or you may get a thunderstorm.
01:23The climate zones influence Rico.
01:25So if it rains,
01:26his clothes get wet,
01:27he gets dust in the desert
01:29and he gets snow on him
01:32if you're in the snowy mountains
01:33in the arctic climate zone.
01:37We have a real time day and night cycle.
01:40That's really nice because during nighttime
01:41you can see all the lights
01:43and all the different settlements around Panao
01:45you can see them light up.
01:46So you can use that to navigate during nighttime
01:48because nothing is for a show only.
01:50We made sure that all of these settlements
01:52are packed with fun and meaningful stuff to do.
01:56We basically built the whole Panao
01:59as one big playground for you.
02:02Most missions can be tackled from land,
02:05from air, from sea.
02:06So it's all up to you really.
02:10Just Cause 2 has just so many features
02:12and when we throw these features
02:14into this huge playground that is Panao
02:17really interesting things start to happen.
02:20It's filled with life.
02:23It's filled with locations to see.
02:25I could spend hours just being on Panao.
02:28It's a really beautiful place
02:29and a fun place to be and mess around.
