This is another example of a "Quality" game on Linux made by some developers. THANKS ! to this developers is that Linux/FreeBSD gaming (and off course thanks to Valve and Steam) is alive. The game is made on Linux but I am not sure if it can run on FreeBSD (You may need to try on Linuxuator).

00:30Welcome to Linux Air Combat. This is the piloting tutorial. Start here, before you fly a mission.
00:37Leave the joystick centered. The fighter should fly straight on and if not, recalibrate your joystick.
00:44Moving the joystick left or right will affect your aliens and your aircraft will roll clockwise or counterclockwise.
00:53Moving up or down will affect the elevator that's pushing forward or back on your joystick.
00:59You'll start to fly a loop when you change your elevator.
01:03If your joystick has a rudder, you may alter the rudder's position and you'll fly slightly to the left or
01:11to the right.
01:12If your rudder is twisty, you just twist it. Your joystick has a throttle to speed up or decelerate.
01:20There's no way to entirely stop. If you get too slow, you'll stall.
01:24The buttons on your joystick can control all of your weapons and flight services.
01:29You can make any button activate any control by editing the LACControls.txt file in the Hidden.LAC folder within
01:37your Home folder.
01:38Edit that file with a text editor.
01:42I think you'll find its syntax self-explanatory.
01:45A summary of commands can be found in the menu.
01:48Escape will show the menu and return back to the action.
01:51But don't press it right now or you'll lose this narration.
01:54Look at the radar on the bottom of your screen. It's a big circle.
01:58There are enemies represented by points of light.
02:03A white dot is selected and a yellow dot is not.
02:07Target an adversary with a configured joystick button, hat switch, or by pressing the appropriate button on your keyboard as
02:13marked here.
02:14Then shoot the targets to complete this tutorial successfully.
02:18Please note that this is just the first on four very simple, rather primitive, tutorial missions to get you started.
02:28The two targets in this offline mission are not very smart.
02:33They don't use any fancy moves and they won't shoot back at you.
02:37It won't take you very long to learn everything you can learn from this very primitive mission.
02:42You might find you need more basic training, especially for mapping your keyboard and joystick buttons and operating your radar
02:50to select targets.
02:51You can get all of that basic training on our website at AskMrWizard.com.
02:56Look for prominent links about Linux air combat and training.
03:00The other three tutorial missions are equally primitive.
03:04The real fun begins when you go to the online missions where you'll find human players and smarter opponents automatically
03:14activated by the server in the form of replay blokes.
03:18That's where the real fun is and we hope you join us there soon.
03:22That is all.
