00:11It's really exciting to take a game like Sims
00:14and bring it to Facebook
00:15because it is such a naturally social game.
00:18Unlike any other social game
00:19the Sim Social is truly alive
00:22whether you're online or offline
00:23You get to customize your Sims
00:25help them through life, yet
00:27at each step you get to share that with your friends
00:29on Facebook
00:33The Sim Social presents a fantastic
00:35platform for self expression
00:37When you create your Sim
00:39not only are you choosing a personality
00:41and traits and how they're going to behave
00:42and the color of their hair and the color of their skin
00:44but even down to the color of their socks
00:47When you decorate your house it's going to look exactly
00:49the way you like it. And you know what?
00:50If you don't like it that way tomorrow, you change it
00:52For the first time you've got a game
00:54that has meaningful social interaction
00:56and it's fun and exciting
00:57to really play with your friends
00:59as part of your gameplay experience
01:01You'll be able to share your Sim's experience
01:03with all of your friends
01:04Your relationships, just like in real life, are not stable
01:07You might return to discover that in fact
01:09your friend has now become your best friend forever
01:13or alternatively
01:14perhaps they've become enemies
01:16and the relationships have taken a different turn
01:17but at each step along the way
01:19you'll get to share this with everybody on Facebook
01:21You set up different relationships
01:23with different friends
01:24and it's going to be entirely unique
01:26so my playing experience when I play with Anne
01:28is entirely different from my playing experience
01:30when I play with Bob
01:36So one of the best parts of the game
01:37is actually returning to it
01:39and discovering what your friends have been up to
01:41while you were gone
01:42your friends might have been over to help
01:44perhaps they cooked a meal
01:45or helped fix your broken toilet
01:48on the other hand you might have a couple of enemies
01:50they might have left a spider in the cupboard
01:52or a fish in the bed
01:57and you'll see all this playing out before you
01:58The entire office has been testing the game
02:01and playing with each other
02:03so our Facebook walls suggest some pretty interesting relationships
02:06between people in the office
02:07that you really wouldn't expect
02:08it's kind of become one big soap opera
02:10Just like real life
02:12The Sim Social is an unpredictable world
02:14so the game never sleeps
