00:08who is the product manager for Dark Souls and we have our community and PR support guy Joe Walsh, we
00:15wanted to take a few minutes of your time just to talk through Dark Souls because we've got the final
00:19boxed copies of the game in.
00:20Now this does say limited edition on the front of the packaging but I assure you it's not a higher
00:25price point, it is the version that you will pick up for day one and if you've pre-ordered, lucky
00:31enough to pre-order the game, we're not charging a higher price point for this, this has been developed specifically
00:37for the early adopters and the fans and the people that supported Demon's Souls which was a fantastic game.
00:42So this on average on PS3 and 360 you'll be able to pick up for around £39.99 if you
00:49look around on the retail on different sites you'll find it at different prices.
00:53We want you to produce this video because there's been a lot of talk online about I'm not getting this
00:58content, what content am I getting, I'm not too sure, we want you to clarify that in this video.
01:04So very UK focused but just bear with it's very rough and ready.
01:07I just wanted to show you the box because it's slightly thicker, if you bought the Black Phantom edition of
01:13Demon's Souls you'll get an idea of what to expect for this.
01:19So Blaze, do you want to take us through the PS3 version of the game first?
01:22Yeah obviously, so when you open the box you'll discover first the game plus the artbook.
01:29So we'll start with the artbook.
01:31Ok, so really high quality print, really nice artbook and on the first page you will discover the original soundtrack
01:38of the game, so 23 tracks.
01:41So that's a full soundtrack of the game which you would normally pay, which you'd normally pay a lot more
01:45for, for like a limited special edition so that's all in this day one edition.
01:49Definitely. And on the last page you've got the behind the scenes DVD with all the interview of the dev
01:55team and yeah everything is filmed in Japan and so...
02:01And that's exactly the same, sorry that's exactly the same for the 360 version as well.
02:05Yeah exactly the same.
02:06So both formats are exactly the same in terms of the content, obviously the PS3 being you get two DVDs
02:12and one Blu-ray.
02:12And you've got all this amazing design artwork from the dev team, with all the balls and monsters, every single
02:22enemies you will face in the world of Dark Souls, so it's really high quality.
02:26And I just want to point out because I've seen many artbooks over the years, this is a very high
02:29quality artbook, a real collectible asset and something that you know fans of the series and fans of action RPGs
02:36will really kind of relish in.
02:38So this comes all inside the special box that you'll get for your standard edition of the game.
02:45It's like at least 45 or 50 pages.
02:48Yeah, that's fantastic. So take us through the strategy guide because initially we were going to include the strategy guide
02:55as part of the packaging.
02:55But as you know it's a very big game, very big game. So what we've done is the, because of
03:02some production issues we've decided to change the strategy guide.
03:05So there's a digital strategy guide as part of the overall packaging.
03:09The price hasn't changed, everything's the same, you still get the artwork, you still get the making of, you still
03:14get the soundtrack, you still get the game.
03:15But it comes, the strategy guide comes on a card which you will have a code for, an individual code
03:21which will go onto the site and you see the 360 version is the same.
03:24And you'll be able to download the strategy guide.
03:28So just to make things clear and just so you know exactly what's in the packaging.
03:33So everything you see here, as I say, is for the standard price.
03:38If you've pre-ordered the game or you buy the game, one week from today, that's the 7th of October
