00:00Narrated, Ubadah bin Assamit, who took part in the Battle of Butter and was a naqib, a
00:05person heading a group of six persons, on the night of Al-Aqaba Pledge.
00:10Allah's Apostle said, while a group of his companions were around him,
00:14Swear allegiance to me for
00:161. Not to join anything in worship along with Allah
00:192. Not to steal
00:213. Not to commit illegal sexual intercourse
00:254. Not to kill your children
00:275. Not to accuse an innocent person to spread such an accusation among people
00:326. Not to be disobedient when ordered to do good deed
00:36The Prophet ﷺ added, whoever among you fulfills his pledge will be rewarded by Allah
00:42and whoever indulges in any one of them, except the ascription of partners to Allah
00:46and gets the punishment in this world, that punishment will be an expiation for that sin
00:51and if one indulges in any of them and Allah conceals his sin, it is up to him to forgive
00:56or punish him in the hereafter.
00:59Ubada bin al-Samit added, so we swore allegiance for these.
