OnePlus has started revealing more information about the upcoming OnePlus 15T ahead of its official debut in China on March 24. The company has now confirmed key aspects of the device’s imaging system and also shared early camera samples, offering a glimpse of what users can expect from its photography experience. 00:21The OnePlus 15T will feature a 50-megapixel main camera, featuring Sony IMX906 sensor.

00:29We've seen this sensor in several flagship phones.

00:32It's a large sensor that can capture more light, which means better low-light photos

00:36and improved dynamic range.

00:38The main camera will be paired with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor, which is likely

00:43to be the Samsung JN5.

00:46The sensor supports 3.5x optical zoom, which can further extend to 7x lossless zoom through

00:53image processing.

00:54It has a longer focal length, allowing it to capture distant objects with greater clarity.

01:00The 3.5x optical zoom corresponds to an equivalent 85mm portrait focal length, which is widely

01:08used for natural-looking close-up shots.

01:10The company has shared some camera samples taken with the OnePlus 15T.

01:14But the most noticeable is the inclusion of LUMO imaging technology, which was developed

01:21This technology mainly enhances portrait photography.

01:25It also improves computational depth processing and color rendering technologies to deliver more

01:34The OnePlus 15T was found listed on China Telecom that confirmed the rest of the specifications.

01:40The OnePlus 15T will feature a 6.32-inch flat LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh

01:52It will be available in multiple storage options including 12 plus 256, 12 plus 512, 16 plus 256, 16 plus

02:05The 1TB model could be exclusive to China only.

02:09Despite a compact, size the device will pack a massive 7,500 mAh battery, which will support 100W fast charging

02:18and 50W fast wireless charging.

02:20It will be powered by the mighty Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.

02:25For security, it will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP66, 68, 69, and IP69K rating for dust and water

02:37resistance and upgrade over the IP65 on the OnePlus 13T.

02:42The OnePlus 15T will launch globally as the OnePlus 15S in the next few months.
