00:42My art teachers all would freak out
00:44It's anger, right?
00:46I mean, I take my anger and I push it through monsters
00:48And they just come out
00:50People who play Gears of War enjoy it for its style
00:53And its aesthetic
00:54Not only playing the game, but looking at the game
00:57I'm responsible for anything from lighting
00:59To animation
01:01To creature design
01:02To character design
01:04And then I have an incredible team of artists
01:06They take it and they run with it
01:08And they make it even better
01:10I'm very lucky to have such a talented team
01:13So this is it
01:15This is the end of the trilogy
01:17We really wanted this to be special
01:20Wanted something collectible
01:21That the fans could have
01:23That was like a piece of the game
01:25And right here in front of you
01:26So everything in that collector's edition
01:29Is high-end stuff
01:30In the epic edition
01:32We have the Marcus statue
01:33When I first saw this
01:35I got chills
01:37It was amazing
01:38This is the model that you'll be playing in the game
01:41This came right out of the engine
01:42And it's just printed out in 3D
01:45And the resolution is phenomenal
01:46It's like a billion poly model
01:48Or something like that
01:49So I was really worried about
01:50Catching all the detail
01:51You've even got fabric texture in here
01:52And some of this stuff
01:53All the little dings and dents in his armor
01:55I didn't want a piece that looked like a toy
01:58Or an action figure
01:59We want it for ourselves, right?
02:01I wanted one for my desk
02:02I didn't want that cheesy like action figure look
02:06I wanted a high-end
02:07Almost a museum-quality collectible
02:10For the fans
02:13It's a little bittersweet
02:15To know that it's kind of
02:16The last of the trilogy
02:18You've been working as a band of brothers
02:21To make this thing for years now
02:23And I've been working on Gears of War
02:24For 10 years
02:25And so, yeah
02:26It's a little bit emotional to wrap it up
