00:05I'm here to check out the new controller and new console that was just announced at Nintendo's E3 presentation.
00:11And here is the new controller.

00:14I mean, essentially, it's a combination of a touchscreen, you have your traditional inputs, and you have motion control.
00:19But you have to see this, actually, in experience.
00:26So the objective is really simple, Krista.
00:28All you have to do is run, and we're going to chase you.

00:31It's like a giant game of tag.
00:33You're going to be using the new controller's screen.
00:35You have that personal set of information.
00:37We can't see what you're seeing.
00:38My job, essentially, is to be playing with the Wii Remote and these guys.
00:41We're going to be using the screen to try and chase you down.
00:43You can use whatever information that you have on the new controller's screen to evade us.
00:47You can also use the left circle pad to go ahead and move around.

02:07Battle.me is a great example of how you can have two different experiences in the same game.
02:11Erica, Krista, you two are going to be using the television, looking at the television,
02:16and using the Weirmo nunchuck, and you're going to be on the ground.
02:20Of course, you guys have guns, so you want to shoot Tom.
02:23Tom, on the other hand, is going to be using the new controller with the motion sensing and
02:28a screen on it to fly the ship around and to shoot the two of you.
02:31Tom, it's on.
02:57And I think Tom's just been seen.

03:22So, JC, what are we going to do next?
03:24In this demo, you can use the new controller screen as well as the TV screen,
03:28and use them at the same time.
03:30It's like having two different windows in the same game world that surrounds you.
03:33Using this, you can take a look into the world.
03:35There's the center ship.
03:36If you take a look to your right, you can see a ship to your right.
03:40If you take a look to your left, there's a ship on the left.
03:44That's so neat.
03:45Yeah, so you can also look up at the sky and see stars and a moon.
03:48This pirate ghost is going to shoot arrows at you,
03:49so your objective is to simply hold up the new controller
03:54and catch the suction-tipped arrows with the new controller.
03:59Like a shield.
03:59Yes.

04:35It's going to get vast.
04:36As you can see, the new console and new controller
04:39lets people play in brand new ways,
04:41and its potential is just beginning to be explored.
