00:13It has been such a wonderful experience bringing choreographers into our design collaborative.
00:21Dan Central 2's choreography is true to the style of the music that we're picking,
00:27but because there's so many of us new choreographers and those of us who have already been on the
00:33project, we wanted to step it up and still be true to ourselves and our style and how
00:37we've been evolving in one year, we want Dan Central 2 to reflect that.
00:42When I'm listening to a mix, I listen to the mix over and over and over again.
00:48For me personally, I hear it like a million times, I just have it on repeat and I just
00:52let it kind of flow, I don't try to force it too much.
00:54I like to chair dance and everybody thinks it's really funny, but I do this thing where
00:58I sit down and I listen to the music.
01:01And then I'll go back and look at it.
01:02If I catch choreo that I like, that isn't in the game currently.
01:08And the little things that I, oh that was a great accent there and I want to keep this
01:12but move it someplace else.
01:13Ditch that, ditch that, keep that, work around this, and then you go and then I record it
01:19again.
01:19And I also listen to the words, I'm very lyrically German, a lot of us are.
01:23So we want those little breaths that happen that the singer sings or the little hits or
01:28the stops in the music, we actually want to play up on those things.
01:32This time around, at least me personally, I think about what is fun that's still simple
01:38enough that people can do at a club and the wallflower can be like, I can step side and
01:44add a head nod.
01:45I can add a little clap, like that's fine, and I'll stay there.
01:48If that's your comfort zone, then we'll make up that choreography just for you.
01:51I'll assess the song first and then see what I see people doing, the age groups, even though
01:58we're not supposed to nail a specific, I'll think about that.
02:02And then I'll work around it and try to figure out exactly what I want to see.
02:08You know, if I was dancing to this, what I'd want to see and what I'd want to do.
02:14I feel like DC2 brought us all together creatively.
02:18Yeah, we definitely work off each other a lot.
02:20I'll say, hey, to Marcos or Frenchie, what do you think about this?
02:24And I'll show it to them.
02:26And then they'll be like, okay, you know, so we get our equal support system going.
02:31One song in particular, I remember going to her office and just saying, hey, what do you
02:36think about this?
02:37And she would do it, and then I would make it my own.
02:42We definitely ask each other for advice.
02:44Marcos and I actually choreograph something together.
02:47I'll give Frenchie like an idea for like this four count, like, oh, do this instead,
02:51like it'll look really cool.
02:52So you see his movements that people will recognize, and then you'll see my flavor in
02:57the middle or in the beginning.
02:59If you're going to do something uneasy, you're going to work this time around.
03:04The thing that I think is really cool about the easy level in Dance Central 2 is that actually
03:10it's incredibly accessible, but really diverse.
03:14What we take pride on is even if you're doing something that's easy, an easy routine,
03:19it's still fulfilling.
03:21We never dumb down our choreography.
03:23We believe that the player can achieve everything that they set their mind to.
03:28I want people to enjoy my stuff.
03:29I don't want people to be like stressful and be like, oh, I can't get this.
03:32And you know what I mean?
03:33Like it should be challenging, but you should definitely have fun while doing at least my
03:36choreography.
03:39You ain't going to just do step and claps and not sweat.
03:42You're sweating.
03:43If I'm sweating uneasy, you're sweating uneasy.
03:45And yes, you're having a complete, full experience uneasy.
03:50And I can attest to that because I'm downstairs going, phew, y'all sure?

03:56I understand dance is scary.
03:58It scares me sometimes as well, but your body will just do it.
04:03Dance Central 2 is just a good times mobile.
