00:21Was the mode that really set the original Dance Hedral apart
00:24From I think all other dance games
00:26We knew going into that game that we were going to try to teach
00:28Sophisticated choreography
00:30Routines and moves for music videos
00:34And that that was going to
00:35We couldn't just leave players on their own to figure this stuff out
00:38So we spent a lot of time in that first game
00:40Coming up with ideas how to teach people
00:42And we really found, especially through fan feedback
00:45What was working and not working
00:46And a lot of features that we just didn't have time to get into the first one
00:49They're barely even comparable anymore
00:52As far as I'm concerned
00:53There's a ton of customizability
00:55And it is much better in DC2 at mimicking the way real dance lessons work
01:01It flows better
01:02So it doesn't take you 40 minutes to learn something and break it down
01:07It actually goes a lot faster
01:09So we've made a bunch of really great improvements
01:12Allowing players to go into just specific moves
01:15And loop those moves over and over
01:17Okay, so one fun thing is at the end of Perform It
01:19If you kind of sucked on some moves
01:22We can tell you
01:23Okay, you didn't do so good in these
01:24And if you want
01:25You can go to break it down
01:26And just practice these moves
01:28You can go in there and use voice control
01:31Which is brand new to Dance Central 2
01:32Where you can control all the modes within break it down with your voice
01:36So you can say
01:38Xbox repeat
01:38Xbox skip
01:40Xbox video record
01:41And do all these sort of different commands
01:43And you don't even need to use your hands
01:45You can just sort of focus on the dancing
01:46And that really lets you sort of jump around in the mode really easily
01:50And I think the last big improvement is this video record function
01:53Where you can actually see the feed of the depth buffer of you dancing next to the character
02:00So it becomes really obvious that you know
02:02Your hand is out here
02:03And the dancer on the screen's hand is out here
02:05And that's you know
02:06That's what you're doing wrong
02:07So a bunch of improvements to break it down
02:09It's really hard to tell people exactly what they're doing wrong
02:12So we're trying to make it
02:14Give people as many tools as possible
02:16So some people learn in different ways
02:17So maybe you want to like
02:18See yourself in comparison
02:21And maybe you just want to just try it over and over
02:23Until it just feels good in your body
02:25So you go into that and you're like
