00:42and we wanted to do justice to that by creating an epic live-action piece
00:46that really conveys the gravity and the tone of the game.

01:00It was a great earthquake.
01:01The sun became black.
01:04This script just flew off the page, you know.
01:06It was right there.
01:08For the great day of his wrath is come!
01:10It's a world from utter and complete chaos.
01:14There's fallen angels, demons, strange things,
01:19fantasy creatures flying around.
01:21and it's a vision of hell and earth.
01:25So it's a pretty intense timing, you know,
01:28and very high-level emotional.
01:30It's terrific stuff.
01:31When Hammer Creative came to us with this script,
01:34we absolutely saw this thing as a film.
01:36We worked together with production companies
01:38from around the globe to bring it together.
01:40We found a really talented young director
01:42from Germany named Abdel
01:43and a fantastic DP named David Meyrick.
01:45They have a really amazing visual style
01:48that's really brought the script to life.
01:51And cut!
01:52My biggest inspiration was religious lighting
01:55and this thing really allowed us to go contrasty
01:58and just get as creative as possible.
02:00Our job is to really launch the game
02:02with as much fanfare and scope as we possibly can.
02:05In my career, I've worked on, you know,
02:07small movies and great big movies.
02:09And this, as soon as you walked onto the set,
02:11you felt this was a great big movie.
