00:00Tonight, on The Proof Is Out There, Alien Edition.
00:04A glowing orb splits in two over the night sky.
00:07Is it connected to one of the most famous UFO incidents of all time?
00:11Several people believed that this was a cover-up
00:13and something else was operating over Phoenix that night.
00:16A strange light streaks across the Amazon jungle.
00:20Are these skies hiding something far more mysterious than wildlife?
00:24I was absolutely floored by the sheer number of local indigenous people
00:29tormented by these UAP.
00:31And bizarre orbs move with precision above the Arctic.
00:35Could the aurora itself be fueling UFOs?
00:38I couldn't help but think, like, maybe there's a link
00:40between what's going on with the aurora borealis
00:43and those little orbs use that energy to fly.
00:47Light formations and orbs are two of the most commonly reported UFO types.
00:52Are they connected?
00:54Our experts analyze the evidence.
00:56Oh, my God. UFOs.
00:58It's amazing.
00:59These things just magically appear in the sky.
01:02And then we'll pass a verdict.
01:04I would definitely say you're looking at an unknown.
01:08The Proof starts now.
01:17Good evening, everyone, and welcome to The Proof Is Out There.
01:20Arizona is famous in UFO circles for the Phoenix Lights incident of 1997.
01:25But most people don't know that's only one of several similar incidents reported in the area over the years.
01:32Are they connected?
01:33And are they legit?
01:35Check this out.
01:36It's October 12, 2004, in Phoenix, Arizona.
01:40At around 7.45 p.m., local resident Jeff Woolwine has set up a camera to film the night sky
01:46when he captures something out of this world.
01:50His video shows a bright white oblong-shaped light hovering in the sky.
01:55Eventually, the light begins to blink, and then, remarkably, it appears to slowly split apart,
02:01transforming from one single object into two separate entities.
02:05Shortly after they break apart, the two lights gradually disappear, one after the other.
02:12It's amazing, you know, because you're out there and you're watching,
02:15and these things just magically appear in the sky.
02:18There's no airplanes dropping these things out.
02:21There's no explanation on why these things are here.
02:24Jeff says this is exactly what he's spent years looking for.
02:28I've been seeing these Phoenix lights ever since I was a kid.
02:32And, you know, it really made me go on a quest to find out what is really going on here
02:36in our Phoenix skies.
02:38So since this is Phoenix, the big question is,
02:42is Jeff's footage related to the most well-known UFO sightings here ever?
02:46Journalist M.J. Benayas takes us back to March 13, 1997,
02:51the night that would make the term Phoenix lights famous worldwide.
02:55Multiple people reported seeing very strange lights hovering over Phoenix, Arizona.
03:01They formed a large V-shaped object that hovered for several hours.
03:06Other reports circulated of individual lights moving around Phoenix as well.
03:11There's some photographs of lines of lights that kind of show up in the sky.
03:16At the time, some felt the V-shape formed one massive craft,
03:20estimated to be the size of more than 10 Boeing 747s,
03:24with so many witnesses, the government was forced to investigate.
03:28It took several months, but eventually the U.S. military confessed
03:31that they were actually running operations over Phoenix.
03:35The operation was known as Snowbird.
03:37A whole bunch of A-10 aircraft were in the sky,
03:39and they were testing out different models of flares.
03:43But was that the real story or a cover story?
03:46Several people believed that this was a cover-up,
03:49and that the military was essentially trying to hide the fact
03:52that something else was operating over Phoenix that night.
03:55And Jeff believes that his video seems to show
03:58that perhaps there is some sort of resurgence of the Phoenix lights.
04:04It turns out Phoenix lights is actually a bit of a misnomer.
04:08The first sightings in 1997 occurred earlier that night
04:12near Henderson, Nevada, nearly 300 miles from Phoenix.
04:16So two separate events could have been conflated into a single moment.
04:21Either way, the question still remains,
04:23is Jeff's footage proof that the Phoenix lights are back?
04:32The Phoenix lights were a triangular shape,
04:36not two lights in the sky like this.
04:38The residents were describing one structure
04:40that was having multiple lights,
04:42and this is like one.
04:44So there's no comparison there.
04:45Yet even if this isn't related to the Phoenix lights,
04:48how does one explain the mind-boggling moment
04:50when Jeff's alleged UFO appears to divide
04:53into two separate objects, which then disappear?
04:56Earlier in the video, it looks like it's just one object
05:01because they are probably behind each other.
05:05But later on, as the objects move apart from each other,
05:09it gets more and more elongated,
05:11and then you start to see two distinct and separate objects.
05:14So is this a splitting UFO?
05:17Or is it two objects behind each other?
05:20If it is two objects,
05:22are they decidedly less exotic than alien craft?
05:26Are they balloons?
05:27Are they drones?
05:28Are they aircraft?
05:30Well, this was 2004.
05:32It's not very likely that they were drones,
05:35unless it was some kind of military drone.
05:38The main type of unmanned military aircraft in use in 2004
05:42was the remotely operated Predator drone.
05:45It's the size and shape of a small airplane,
05:48which also doesn't explain how the lights on it
05:51could split like we see in this video.
05:53So does that mean we need to call this a UFO after all?
05:57D'Antonio has his doubts.
06:00This was probably a launch of two sky lanterns.
06:04A sky lantern is a miniature hot air balloon
06:07made out of oiled paper and a wire frame
06:09with an opening at the bottom
06:11for a candle or other small source of fire.
06:14The giveaway is that they vanish.
06:17That's because the flame packets are fuel,
06:21and that fuel gets exhausted after a little while.
06:24And when it gets exhausted, the flame goes out.
06:27And that's just what we see here.
06:33Our verdict?
06:34This splitting object or objects remain unidentified.
06:38D'Antonio's sky lantern idea is intriguing,
06:41but how could they fly so close together
06:43that they appear as one?
06:45The original Phoenix lights and similar incidents
06:48in the Phoenix area in the 2000s
06:50have been attributed to flares set off
06:52by the military and others.
06:54Yet there are still those who are skeptical
06:57of these down-to-earth explanations.
07:02We have seen alleged UFOs
07:04that fly around at hypersonic speeds
07:07and even dive in and out of the water.
07:09But what about a UFO that doesn't move at all?
07:12Our next video features a strange object
07:15that seems to be making the rounds
07:17without going anywhere.
07:19Take a look.
07:20April 27, 2023.
07:23A couple is driving home through the desert
07:26just outside Las Vegas, Nevada.
07:28Around 9 p.m., they notice something strange
07:31hovering in the night sky.
07:33Fascinated, they pull over to a fence line
07:36and watch in amazement.
07:38Beyond a chain-link fence,
07:40a row of sparkling, multicolored lights
07:43hovers in midair.
07:44Oh, my God, Ryan.
07:46They're UFOs.
07:48The formation is completely static,
07:50attracting attention all over town
07:52before allegedly disappearing
07:54a minute or two later.
07:56Another Las Vegas resident
07:58saw the same thing
07:59northwest of his neighborhood.
08:01That eyewitness said that these lights
08:04didn't match up with any helicopter
08:06he'd ever seen.
08:07The incident even makes local news.
08:10Reporters check with a nearby airport,
08:12but no flights can explain
08:13these stationary lights in the sky.
08:16Instead, some theorize
08:18they're connected to secret military craft.
08:20After all, the American West
08:22is dotted with special-use airspace,
08:24and Nevada is no exception.
08:26In fact, one local military base
08:29seems a likely culprit.
08:31Nellis Air Force Base
08:32is one of the biggest
08:33and also one of the most secretive.
08:35In fact, it's one of the places
08:37that trains pilots
08:38in some of the most cutting-edge airplanes
08:40that the military has at its disposal.
08:43Vertical takeoff and landing
08:45is a technology that the military
08:46is actively working on.
08:48These aircraft can take off vertically
08:51without any kind of runway,
08:52making them great for small areas
08:54or even aircraft carriers.
08:56They can hover just like these lights
08:58in this video
08:59and would remain completely stationary.
09:01So could these lights be some new kind
09:04of vertical takeoff and landing technology?
09:06Problem is,
09:07Nellis also denies having anything
09:10to do with these lights.
09:11But there is another nearby base
09:13to consider, Area 51,
09:15which some UFO investigators believe
09:18may be the site
09:19of a UFO reverse engineering program.
09:22In 2023,
09:24Pentagon whistleblower David Grush
09:25did testify that the government
09:27was trying to reverse-engineer UFO technology.
09:30So that would be consistent
09:32with this potential sighting.
09:36In March 2021,
09:38roughly two years prior to this sighting,
09:41Vegas residents noticed
09:42another nearly identical set
09:44of stationary lights
09:45hovering over the city.
09:47Authorities later identified
09:48those lights as flares.
09:50Will our experts say the same
09:52for this sighting?
09:54Or will these lights
09:55lead us elsewhere?
10:01Since that 2021 case
10:03turned out to be flares,
10:05are these new lights
10:06just flares too?
10:08Typically,
10:10typically flares
10:10are going to be
10:11only one color
10:12and the color
10:13that a flare is
10:14depends on the chemical element
10:15that's involved.
10:16So for instance,
10:17if we're using sodium,
10:19like it's used
10:20in some street lights,
10:21it's going to be
10:21a yellowish-orange hue.
10:23Or perhaps
10:24if we're using magnesium,
10:26then we would have flares
10:27that are more whitish.
10:29But you're not going
10:29to have color-changing flares.
10:31That is very unusual.
10:33So then,
10:34could we be looking at lights
10:36from emergency vehicles,
10:37maybe on a distant hill
10:39we can't see
10:40since it's nighttime?
10:41The colors are not
10:43the right type
10:44of first responder lights
10:45that you would be expecting.
10:47These are the colors
10:48of the rainbow,
10:48and typically,
10:50first responders are blue,
10:52red, and white,
10:53and maybe amber.
10:55So even though
10:56there are some hills
10:57in the surrounding area,
10:58we know this isn't
11:00police cars on them.
11:02But could they be attached
11:03to a vehicle in the sky,
11:05like those vertical
11:06takeoff and landing planes?
11:08I would say
11:09definitely not.
11:11They wouldn't be using
11:12rainbow-colored lights
11:13to fly around.
11:14They are set up to hover,
11:16but you would hear
11:16those type of
11:17distinct engines.
11:19None of this fits
11:20any of that.
11:21If a craft
11:22is small enough,
11:23however,
11:24noise could be negligible.
11:25Could these simply
11:26be consumer-grade drones?
11:28Drones have the ability
11:30to hover,
11:31and drones
11:32will be producing
11:33lights,
11:34but drones
11:35are not going
11:36to be able
11:36to hover perfectly.
11:38There's always
11:38going to be
11:39a little bit
11:40of movement
11:40in the air,
11:41and it's very hard
11:42to keep drones
11:44in place
11:44in that kind
11:45of situation.
11:47Perfectly still,
11:48rainbow lights
11:49may not match
11:49any aircraft,
11:50but they are reminiscent
11:51of something
11:52we've seen before.
11:53In a previous episode,
11:55we investigated
11:55these stationary
11:57Vegas lights
11:58and found
11:58they were simply
11:59reflections
12:00in the clouds
12:01of lights
12:02from the Hilton,
12:03the Encore,
12:03and the Wynn hotels.
12:05However,
12:06we checked,
12:07and these lights
12:08are not in the
12:09immediate vicinity
12:10of any big casinos.
12:12Due to the configuration
12:13and color
12:13of the lights,
12:14I would definitely
12:15say you're looking
12:16at an unknown.
12:18I have no idea
12:19what these rainbow-colored
12:20lights are,
12:21and my final verdict
12:22is genuine UFO.
12:28Our verdict?
12:30For this one,
12:31genuine UFO.
12:33This is one video
12:34of lights in the sky
12:36that certainly
12:36hit the jackpot.
12:39Many people believe
12:41that indigenous tribes
12:42from around the globe
12:43experienced and interacted
12:45with alien phenomena
12:46in centuries past,
12:47and some tribes
12:49in the Amazon
12:49may still be having
12:51similar encounters
12:52to this very day.
12:54It's July 2024
12:57in the Brazilian state
12:58of Acre.
13:00UFO researcher
13:01Roni Vernet
13:02has headed deep
13:03into the Amazon
13:04after hearing reports
13:06of strange phenomena
13:07among one of the jungle's
13:09indigenous tribes.
13:11I did some requests
13:13for freedom
13:13of information,
13:14access,
13:15so I had some documents
13:18sent back to me
13:19that proved that
13:20we had many incidents
13:22in close encounters
13:23between indigenous people
13:25and UFO
13:26in 2014 to 2016.
13:30Roni sets up his cameras
13:31and captures
13:32something strange.
13:34This video,
13:35recorded off of
13:36Varnet's computer monitor,
13:38shows several fireball-like orbs
13:40which move across
13:41the night sky slowly,
13:42but then start to zigzag
13:45at lightning speed
13:46in different directions.
13:47take a closer look
13:49as these strange fireballs
13:51strobe around the sky.
13:54As soon as I started
13:55to install the equipment,
13:58the phenomena
13:58started to increase
13:59more and more
14:00and more in activity,
14:02and it was a very different
14:04orange light,
14:06very different
14:06from conventional aircraft.
14:08It was very,
14:09very strange.
14:11Varnet has kept
14:12the specific location
14:13of this video secret,
14:15and by far,
14:16it's not the only
14:17UFO sighting in the area.
14:19This is just one
14:21in a long history
14:22of UAP events
14:24that have been reported
14:26around the Brazilian rainforest.
14:28In fact,
14:29Brazil had its own
14:31Roswell event,
14:33which occurred back in 1977,
14:35known as
14:36the Colares incident.
14:37The locals
14:38for a period of time
14:40were tormented
14:41by what they allege
14:43as UAP,
14:44coming down
14:44and even sucking
14:46the blood
14:46from some
14:47of the civilian population.
14:49In fact,
14:50Brazilian military
14:51and law enforcement
14:52were called in
14:53at the national level
14:54to investigate.
14:56The Brazilian Air Force
14:58named their investigation
14:59Operation Saucer,
15:01which included
15:02over 500 photographs
15:03and 15 hours of film.
15:05The doctors
15:06who responded
15:07to this incident
15:08all substantiated
15:09that there were people,
15:10both civilian and military,
15:11who sustained
15:12what appeared to be
15:13burns or lesions,
15:15possibly the type
15:16of damage
15:16a high-energy laser
15:17would do
15:18to human tissue.
15:19And these South American
15:21encounters
15:21weren't just limited
15:22to Brazil.
15:23When I spoke
15:25to authorities
15:26in Peru,
15:27in Argentina,
15:28in Chile,
15:29in Uruguay,
15:30I was absolutely floored
15:32by the sheer number
15:33of reports
15:34that seemed
15:35so eerily similar
15:36to that of Brazil
15:38and the Kolaris incident.
15:40Local indigenous people
15:41tormented
15:42by these UAP
15:44was a routine occurrence.
15:48Could there be
15:49alien life forms
15:50running rampant
15:51in South America?
15:52According to Elizondo,
15:54indigenous communities
15:55from Peru,
15:56Argentina,
15:57Chile,
15:58and Uruguay
15:59have all experienced
16:00UAP phenomena
16:01not unlike those
16:03reported from
16:03the Brazilian rainforest.
16:05Let's see what our experts
16:06think is actually
16:07going on here.
16:12Many have commented
16:14these fireballs
16:15appear to be meteors.
16:16The bright light
16:17we see with a meteor
16:19is actually it burning up
16:21as it comes into
16:22the Earth's atmosphere.
16:23Depending on what
16:24the meteor is comprised of,
16:25you can get a variety
16:26of colors,
16:27but usually not
16:28these kind of flaming
16:29oranges and reds.
16:31Only very slow-moving
16:33meteors occasionally
16:35appear red or orange,
16:36while faster ones
16:38like this object
16:39are generating
16:39such intense heat
16:41that they typically
16:42glow white,
16:43blue,
16:43or green.
16:44So if it wasn't a meteor,
16:46could it have been
16:47an airplane?
16:48The consistency
16:49of the flashing pattern
16:50to me
16:51really speaks
16:52to it being
16:53a commercial aircraft.
16:54The warning lights
16:56that aren't commercial
16:56aircraft,
16:57there's evenly spaced
16:58like we see there.
16:59But an aircraft
17:00isn't capable
17:01of something we see here
17:03that's truly anomalous,
17:04the object's erratic motion.
17:06It's a very quick maneuver
17:08that these things
17:09are doing on the screen.
17:11That's instantaneous acceleration.
17:13That's what it's doing.
17:14And I can honestly say
17:16that I've not seen
17:17anything like that
17:18before that's been recorded.
17:20So could this,
17:21in fact,
17:22be some type of alien craft?
17:24It's on a monitor
17:25and a person
17:26zooms in and zooms out.
17:28Something that's
17:29very clearly
17:29an object
17:31that somehow
17:32moves very instantaneously
17:34in different directions.
17:36That could be
17:37a video artifact.
17:38If it's legitimately
17:40an object,
17:41this is very,
17:42very, very compelling.
17:43An object
17:44that may gain
17:45further legitimacy
17:46due to its behavior,
17:47which mirrors
17:48previous activity
17:49reported in the area.
17:50This video here
17:52is just another
17:53one of those
17:53mysteries we see
17:54in Brazil
17:55throughout its
17:57entire history.
17:58You are having reports
17:59of these lights
18:01that were moving
18:01around in the sky
18:03and you had
18:04medical evidence
18:05that's supporting
18:07anecdotal evidence.
18:09And many of these
18:09indigenous cultures
18:10in Brazil,
18:11they're seeing craft
18:13or something
18:14that's in the sky
18:15that they can't
18:16account for.
18:17Ultimately,
18:17these objects
18:18were doing all
18:19those things
18:19that UAPs typically do.
18:26Our verdict?
18:28Our experts
18:29can't come
18:29to any definitive conclusion,
18:31so we're going
18:32to have to go
18:33with genuine UFO
18:34if only because
18:36these objects
18:36are still unidentified.
18:38One thing is for sure,
18:40we'll keep in close contact
18:41with Roni
18:42and share more
18:43of his fascinating work
18:44in the Amazon.
18:47In every episode,
18:48we do a call
18:49call-out asking you
18:50for videos you think
18:51we should investigate.
18:53We asked,
18:54and you answered.
18:55This next video
18:56arrived via tweet
18:57from one of our
18:58dedicated proof viewers,
18:59and as soon as I saw it,
19:01I gotta say,
19:01I definitely had
19:03some questions too.
19:05September 24, 2022,
19:08Chad Turner
19:09and his girlfriend
19:09are enjoying
19:10a leisurely evening stroll
19:11outside their apartment complex
19:13in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
19:15But then,
19:16at about 7.30 p.m.,
19:17something strange
19:18in the sky
19:19grabs their attention.
19:20Being in and out here
19:21looking at something,
19:23we don't know what it is.
19:24Chad quickly breaks out
19:26his cell phone
19:26and captures this.
19:29What is that?
19:30A bright white dot
19:32moves slowly
19:33above the trees.
19:35A closer look
19:36reveals its emitting
19:37beams of light
19:38that appear to form
19:39a peculiar arrow-like shape.
19:41As a fan of the show,
19:42Chad knows what to do next.
19:43He starts to break down
19:45the possibilities.
19:47That's not an airplane.
19:48That's, like,
19:49too bright to be a plane.
19:50You see the aura around it?
19:51That's crazy.
19:52We were kind of
19:53awe-stricken by it,
19:54but at the same time,
19:55we were a little nervous, too.
19:56You know,
19:56because you know
19:57where this thing
19:58is going to go.
19:59Chad follows the object
20:00until suddenly
20:01it disappears.
20:03Hey, my ears.
20:05Yo, that's crazy.
20:06Is it possible
20:07Chad captured
20:08a genuine UFO?
20:09On December 9th of 1965,
20:11an acorn-shaped fireball
20:13fell through the sky
20:15and landed in a wooded area
20:16near the small town
20:17of Kecksburg, Pennsylvania.
20:19This was so bright
20:20that people saw it
20:21in six states
20:22and even in Canada.
20:24It was such a powerful landing
20:26that observers
20:27heard the crash
20:28and felt the ground
20:29shudder when it impacted.
20:31Tidal says the crash area
20:32was later sealed
20:33by the U.S. Army
20:34who told everybody
20:35there was nothing
20:36in the woods.
20:37It wasn't until
20:3840 years later
20:40that the U.S. government
20:41and NASA said
20:42that the object
20:43had in fact
20:44been a downed
20:44Soviet satellite.
20:46A lot of people
20:46who saw the fireball
20:48didn't accept this
20:49as the explanation
20:50and were convinced
20:51that it was something
20:52extraterrestrial.
20:55Let's take a closer
20:56look at Chad's video.
20:57What I find
20:58most fascinating
20:59about this object
20:59is the triangle-like
21:01shape of the vapor trail
21:02left behind.
21:03This angle right here
21:05is almost
21:06a perfect 90 degrees.
21:08It's definitely
21:09unlike any exhaust pattern
21:11I've ever seen.
21:11But let's find out
21:12what our experts think.
21:17While we encourage viewers
21:19to send us videos
21:20we also need to make sure
21:21we're not getting punked.
21:23So first
21:23we send Chad's footage
21:24to video forensic analyst
21:26Michael Primo.
21:27There was an abundance
21:28of specific metadata
21:29throughout the file
21:30and because it retained
21:32the GPS information
21:34that's significant
21:36in terms of processing
21:37because this was something
21:39that was fabricated
21:40for example
21:41or CGI'd.
21:42We wouldn't have
21:43that data.
21:44I detect no evidence
21:45to suggest that this is
21:47been fabricated
21:48or manipulated.
21:49Okay, we have
21:50a legit video.
21:51But of what?
21:52Could it be a UFO?
21:54I certainly can understand
21:55why people would consider
21:57it to be a UFO
21:58or something unusual
21:59but there's no
22:01instantaneous acceleration.
22:02All you see is
22:03a very consistent movement
22:04across the sky.
22:05There's nothing
22:06extraterrestrial
22:06in my looking at it.
22:08If it's not a UFO
22:09could it be another kind
22:10of extraterrestrial visitor?
22:12It's a possibility
22:14that Chad considered.
22:16You know what I'm wondering
22:17if that's a shooting star?
22:18Shooting star?
22:20But Rich Hoffman
22:21has doubts.
22:22Meteors basically
22:23last a few seconds
22:24and it would have been
22:26a long trail
22:27of a flame
22:29or something like that
22:30coming back
22:30from the bottom
22:31but the effect
22:32in the atmosphere
22:33that you see
22:33is very, very symmetrical.
22:35Tim McMillan believes
22:37it's that symmetrical
22:38contrail
22:39that provides
22:40an important clue.
22:41We see a more
22:41consistent, dense
22:43contrail
22:44that's coming behind it.
22:45So this tells me
22:46we're seeing a lot
22:46of the telltale signs
22:48of this is a man-made object
22:50that's burning fuel.
22:52Rather than something
22:53falling down to Earth
22:54McMillan sees evidence
22:55for something going up.
22:56To me
22:57it definitely had
22:58characteristics
22:58that led me to believe
23:00this was probably
23:01a SpaceX launch
23:02because of the interesting
23:03cone and shape
23:04that we see here.
23:05Hoffman adds
23:06that a rocket
23:07also explains
23:08why Chad
23:09and his girlfriend
23:09quickly lost sight
23:11of the object
23:11behind a row of trees.
23:13What happens is
23:13the first stage
23:14separation
23:15and then there's
23:16a second stage
23:17and then that separates
23:18it cuts off the engines.
23:20So as they're moving
23:21to the other side
23:22of the tree
23:22you don't see any effects
23:24because it's not burning
23:25the engines any longer.
23:26Ultimately
23:27McMillan says
23:28the records
23:29confirm the theory.
23:30In checking
23:30when this was filmed
23:32we could say
23:33with a high degree
23:33of certainty
23:34is the launch
23:35of a Falcon 9
23:36SpaceX rocket
23:37out of Cape Canaveral, Florida
23:39carrying Starlink satellites
23:41into the Earth's atmosphere.
23:48Our verdict?
23:49Rocket launch.
23:51Chad, sorry to dash
23:52your hopes
23:52of capturing
23:53a genuine UFO
23:54but we agree
23:55with our experts
23:56that the pieces
23:56of the puzzle
23:57all fit
23:58for a SpaceX Falcon 9
24:00launch that day.
24:02seeing the Aurora Borealis
24:05or the Northern Lights
24:06is certainly
24:07on my bucket list
24:08and Canada
24:09is a great place
24:10for it.
24:11In certain parts
24:11of the country
24:12they appear
24:13up to 300 nights
24:14a year
24:15but one Canadian
24:16family says
24:17they recently saw
24:18something just as amazing
24:19and a lot more
24:21unexpected.
24:22May 10th, 2024.
24:25It's between 10
24:26and 11 p.m.
24:27in Kelowna,
24:28British Columbia.
24:29Bobby Vandenhorn
24:31and his family
24:31are gathered
24:32on his rooftop patio
24:34hoping to catch
24:35a glimpse
24:35of the Aurora Borealis.
24:37The Aurora Borealis
24:38is a beautiful
24:40natural phenomenon.
24:41Essentially
24:42as the sun
24:43is giving off
24:44solar energy
24:45it's flying
24:46through space
24:46and it slams
24:47into the Earth's atmosphere
24:48all of those
24:50charged particles
24:51interact with
24:52the various molecules
24:54that make up
24:55Earth's atmosphere
24:56and burn up
24:57into light
24:57and we get
24:58this spectacular
24:59beautiful light show
25:00as a result.
25:01But as the Vandenhorn
25:02family waits
25:03for the lights
25:04to appear overhead
25:05something else
25:06catches their attention.
25:08What is that?
25:10Bobby records
25:11a cluster
25:12of five bright
25:13white orbs
25:14twinkling
25:14in the distance.
25:16Oh and now
25:17they're bunching
25:18all together.
25:19Oh my goodness.
25:21And that's
25:22just the start.
25:23As the night
25:24goes on
25:24Bobby takes
25:25several more
25:26videos of
25:26strange light
25:27formations
25:28and he says
25:29the footage
25:30doesn't capture
25:31the half of it.
25:32I probably saw
25:33about 20 plus
25:36groups of those
25:38orbs
25:39and each group
25:41had anywhere
25:42from you know
25:43two to three
25:43all the way up
25:44to 25 to 30
25:45of them.
25:47Bobby posts
25:48the video online
25:49and even submits
25:50it to the local
25:50news where it
25:52draws thousands
25:53of eyes.
25:54I couldn't help
25:55but think like
25:55maybe there's
25:56a link between
25:57what's going on
25:57with the aurora borealis
25:59whatever energy
26:00comes into the
26:00atmosphere from
26:02that perhaps
26:03those little
26:03orbs use that
26:04energy to fly.
26:06What is that?
26:10It turns out
26:11the northern lights
26:12have been especially
26:13active lately.
26:14In 2024
26:15they were even
26:16visible as far
26:17south as Florida.
26:19Scientists say
26:20that's because
26:20the sun is in
26:21its solar maximum
26:22the peak
26:23of its 11 year
26:24cycle.
26:25Can solar activity
26:26explain Bobby's
26:27unusual encounter
26:28or will our
26:29experts find
26:30another source
26:31for his sighting?
26:36At times
26:37the lights form
26:38a V shape
26:39so we have
26:40to consider
26:40if they could
26:41just be
26:41a V shaped
26:42aircraft.
26:43There's a number
26:44of aircraft
26:45that could match
26:46the V shape
26:47that we see.
26:47the B-2 bomber
26:49has a V shape
26:50to it
26:50but what they
26:52don't have
26:53is independent
26:54lighting that moves
26:55relative to the
26:55other lights on board.
26:57These lights
26:58are actually
26:58moving independently
27:00so this is why
27:02I think there are
27:03five independent
27:03objects.
27:04The way these
27:05lights are moving
27:06it almost seems
27:07like a choreographed
27:08movement.
27:09I think there is
27:09a high probability
27:10that what we're
27:11looking at
27:11are drones.
27:12This particular day
27:14was one of the
27:15largest geomagnetic
27:16storms to ever
27:17hit the earth.
27:18We know that
27:18there are a lot
27:19of people
27:20with their eyes
27:21on the sky
27:22and given that
27:23the Aurora Borealis
27:24hasn't started yet
27:25these drones
27:26could be the pre-show.
27:27But if this is
27:28a drone show
27:29it's not a
27:30particularly visible one.
27:32He had to zoom in
27:33to be able to
27:34show them better.
27:34That's because
27:35they were at a
27:35relatively high altitude.
27:37They might have been
27:37at 3,000 feet
27:39or 4,000 feet.
27:41Drones shows
27:41don't occur
27:42high up in the sky.
27:43They generally occur
27:44down low to the ground
27:45and we're not
27:46seeing that here.
27:48Instead
27:49like the Aurora
27:50itself
27:50these flying objects
27:52may have a natural
27:53explanation.
27:54If you watch
27:55Canada geese
27:56you'll see something
27:57really impressive.
27:59You'll see that
27:59the leader
28:00is in front
28:01during the brunt
28:02of the forces
28:03hitting him.
28:04When the leader
28:05gets tired
28:06and drops back
28:08into the V
28:08another leader
28:10will emerge
28:11and we could be
28:12seeing these two
28:12coming up to the lead.
28:15Now we've seen
28:16reflective birds
28:18mistaken for UFOs
28:19before.
28:20However,
28:21those had an obvious
28:22light source
28:23beneath them
28:24a greenhouse
28:24but these
28:26don't.
28:27Birds don't produce
28:28their own light.
28:29If we were
28:30looking at birds
28:31there would have
28:32to be some sort
28:32of light
28:33hitting those birds
28:34and reflecting back
28:35to the earth.
28:36We don't see that here.
28:43Our verdict?
28:45Unexplained objects.
28:47Between our two
28:48experts
28:48we can't make a call
28:50one way or the other.
28:51We'll have to wait
28:52and see
28:52if any more UFOs
28:54emerge from this
28:55intense solar activity.
28:59When it comes
29:00to most UFO encounters
29:02it's usually
29:03just one person
29:04who happens
29:05to be at the right place
29:06at the right time.
29:06However,
29:08this next incident
29:09got a lot of buzz
29:10recently because
29:10it was seen
29:11over two days
29:12by multiple people.
29:13So we've got
29:14different perspectives
29:15of the same
29:16strange phenomenon
29:17but do they lead
29:18to the same answer?
29:21December 1st,
29:222022.
29:25Fredonia,
29:25Wisconsin.
29:26It's just before
29:2711 p.m.
29:28and after working
29:28a long day
29:29Ken B.
29:30is out for a stroll.
29:31So I was walking
29:32outside
29:32and it's very dark.
29:34We do not have
29:35street lights
29:36or anything like that
29:37in the area.
29:38Suddenly,
29:38something dashes
29:39above Ken
29:40in the night sky
29:41so he pulls out
29:42his cell phone
29:43and captures this.
29:44A group of four lights
29:46quickly streak
29:47across the sky.
29:48They appeared
29:48from behind me,
29:50went across the sky.
29:51You could see
29:52a little flash of light
29:53right before
29:53they disappeared.
29:55Then,
29:55five more lights
29:56moving a little
29:57more slowly
29:57make the same
29:58startling motion.
30:00It was kind of
30:01a creepy experience.
30:02I'd be kidding you
30:03if I said it wasn't.
30:04The following evening,
30:06Chris Nowak
30:07is 40 miles south
30:08in Greenfield, Wisconsin
30:09where he records
30:11these mysterious
30:12lights in the sky.
30:13They would pulse
30:14through and race
30:15incredibly quickly.
30:16It was like
30:16this charge of light
30:17that would go through
30:18from as far back
30:19as we could see
30:20in literally
30:21a second or two.
30:22It really seemed
30:23to defy
30:24logical explanation.
30:26Did Ken and Chris
30:28witness the same
30:28mysterious phenomenon?
30:30Could it be alien?
30:31You can understand
30:32why someone would think
30:33this is something
30:34otherworldly
30:35because Wisconsin
30:36has an incredible
30:37amount of UFO sightings
30:39going back
30:39to the 1950s.
30:41Title notes
30:42that one of the most
30:43controversial sightings
30:44took place
30:45in the mid-1960s
30:46near Green Bay.
30:47For four nights
30:48in a row,
30:49eyewitnesses observed
30:50and filmed UFO activity.
30:52But when they reported
30:53those incidents
30:54to the National Guard,
30:55all of their films
30:56were confiscated.
30:57In the years
30:58that followed,
30:58the individuals
30:59tried to figure out
31:00what it was
31:01they were seeing.
31:01But none of them
31:02were ever given
31:03straight answers.
31:06Wisconsin has been
31:07a UFO hotspot
31:08for so long
31:09that over 70 years ago,
31:11husband and wife
31:12Jim and Coral Lorenzen
31:13formed a group
31:14known as
31:15the Aerial Phenomena
31:16Research Organization
31:17to document UFO cases
31:19from all around the state.
31:21Do these sightings
31:22qualify to make the list?
31:23Let's see what
31:24our experts say.
31:29Have Ken and Chris
31:30documented another
31:31extraordinary moment
31:33in Wisconsin UFO history?
31:35Rich Hoffman wants to believe,
31:37but in this case,
31:38he can't.
31:39There's no instantaneous
31:40acceleration that was visible.
31:41These were consistently moving
31:43at not even hypersonic speeds.
31:45The lights were moving
31:45across the sky
31:46and going in a relatively
31:48normal pattern.
31:49There's nothing here
31:50that looks extraterrestrial.
31:51Time to call in
31:52our super sleuth McWest.
31:54And right off the bat,
31:55he's sure this isn't
31:56any video trickery.
31:57Chris and Ken's sightings
31:59are similar in that
32:00we see clouds
32:01in both videos
32:02and we see lights
32:05that move around.
32:06But it's the way
32:07the lights change shape
32:08as they move
32:09through the cloud cover
32:10that gives the biggest clue
32:11in Ken's video.
32:12If you point a light
32:14straight up at something,
32:15it's a nice round spot.
32:17If it's at an angle,
32:18the further away they get,
32:19the more stretched out
32:21they will get.
32:22And as they get closer in,
32:24we see they get shorter
32:25and shorter.
32:26This indicates
32:27the lights are being projected
32:28from a fixed point
32:29on the ground.
32:30But what about
32:31the jumpier lights
32:32in the Greenfield video?
32:34We've all used
32:35a laser pointer
32:35and had our cats chase it.
32:37I think what we're looking
32:38at here looks like
32:40lights that are being
32:41shone up from below
32:42onto the clouds.
32:44So what is the source
32:45of these lights?
32:46Ken and Chris's videos
32:47were filmed at different times
32:49and 40 miles apart.
32:50West investigates
32:52Ken's video first
32:53and learns of another
32:54eyewitness to his
32:55exact same sighting.
32:56So he plots
32:57the coordinates.
32:58Now the good thing
32:59is we have another witness.
33:00We know which road
33:01she was on
33:02and we know roughly
33:02what direction
33:03she was looking in.
33:04So we can stick
33:05her location on the map
33:06and she was actually
33:07in a very different location
33:09way down here
33:10towards West Bend.
33:11So now we've got
33:12two lines of sight
33:12from two different people.
33:14Knowing approximately
33:15where the lights came from,
33:16West makes a final call.
33:18I contacted
33:18the local chamber of commerce
33:20and they said
33:21the Flanders family
33:22have an annual light show
33:23which they do for charity
33:24every year
33:25and the location of it
33:27is more or less
33:28where these two lines cross
33:30and they had the spotlights
33:32mounted on the roof
33:32of the house
33:33and it's in every way
33:36it is a match.
33:37It turns out
33:38this alien invasion
33:39is just a celebration
33:41of holiday cheer.
33:42I think that Ken
33:44was looking at the Flanders
33:45family Christmas lights
33:46and I think that Chris
33:47was looking at
33:48a different set
33:48Christmas lights
33:49about 40 miles away.
33:56Our verdict?
33:57Christmas spotlights.
33:58It took some detective work
34:00but we see that
34:01given the known cloud cover
34:02that day
34:03West's interpretation
34:04makes sense
34:05and since it was
34:07the season for holiday lights
34:08we think that was the reason.
34:12In an earlier episode
34:13we brought you
34:14a confounding story
34:15about alleged UFOs
34:17caught on camera
34:18in Warminster, England.
34:19After investigating
34:20this footage
34:21we came to the conclusion
34:22that it was simply
34:23too good to be true.
34:24The video must have been altered.
34:26However,
34:27a new lead came in
34:28after we aired
34:29that reminded us
34:30that things may not always
34:31be what they see.
34:33August 2018
34:34Warminster, England
34:36about 100 miles west of London.
34:38From the side of a highway
34:39the passenger
34:40in a parked car
34:41notices something
34:42in the evening sky.
34:43Two bright orbs
34:44moving separately.
34:45At first
34:46it looks like
34:47it might be
34:47a couple of helicopters
34:48or drones
34:49but then
34:49look at this.
34:51They split into five
34:53or six smaller objects.
34:55The cluster continues
34:56to fly in unison
34:57illuminating the sky
34:59and coordinating maneuvers
35:00for a full three minutes.
35:03It's reminiscent
35:04of a series
35:05of UFO sightings
35:06that occurred
35:06in the area
35:07in the 1960s.
35:08These sightings
35:10characterized at times
35:11by explosions
35:12and hissing flames
35:13in the sky
35:14came to be known
35:16as the Warminster thing.
35:18Could this video
35:19offer proof
35:19of the Warminster thing's
35:21return?
35:22We considered UFOs
35:24and secret military tech
35:25but ultimately
35:26the answer seemed
35:27to come from testing
35:28the validity
35:29of the video itself
35:30and a suspicious edit
35:32gave one of our experts
35:33pause.
35:34The transition
35:35out of the hill
35:36was removed
35:37from the video.
35:37I think I have to label
35:39this one a hoax.
35:43At the time
35:44our original analysis
35:45led us to believe
35:46that this video
35:47was doctored to deceive
35:49but then you
35:50our beloved viewers
35:51got involved
35:52and that changed everything.
35:57When the original segment
35:59hit YouTube
35:59some viewers
36:00claimed this
36:01wasn't faked footage
36:02after all.
36:03This video
36:03really needed
36:04a second look at
36:04because of this
36:05new information.
36:06So our ace video analyst
36:08Mick West
36:08went back
36:09to check the authenticity
36:10of the video
36:11and its suspicious edit.
36:13I think what actually
36:14happened in this location
36:15was the cameraman
36:16simply moved
36:17the camera down
36:18lost the shot
36:19and then moved it
36:20back up again
36:21as they came out
36:21from behind the hill
36:22and so they just
36:23did a little edit
36:24to remove
36:25that little bit
36:26of dead air.
36:28Because of this
36:29West doesn't think
36:30trickery or CGI
36:31was involved
36:32which negates
36:33our old verdict.
36:34Everything else
36:35about the video
36:36seems very genuine
36:37to me.
36:38The way the objects
36:39move seems
36:40very consistent.
36:41West also
36:42X'd out other
36:43hypotheses
36:43natural and technological.
36:46There was a bunch
36:46of different hypotheses
36:47one of which was
36:48a meteor shower
36:49and you can kind
36:50of rule that out
36:50because it changes
36:51direction.
36:52Another possibility
36:53drones that were
36:54rigged with fireworks
36:56that you don't
36:57generally have drones
36:58with fireworks on
36:59because drones
37:00are quite small.
37:02Also military technology
37:03was kind of ruled out
37:05because they're not
37:06going to be testing
37:07some kind of secret
37:08military technology
37:09by the side of the road
37:11where anyone can see it.
37:12Which to West
37:13only meant one thing.
37:15This is obviously
37:15something that isn't secret
37:16it's something that's
37:17either is intended
37:18to be seen
37:19or they don't care
37:20if people see it.
37:21But what other
37:22explanations could have
37:23possibly fit the bill?
37:24The answer almost
37:25flew past us
37:27that is until
37:28we logged on
37:28to social media.
37:29We were contacted
37:30by a viewer
37:31who recognized
37:33what he was seeing
37:34on screen
37:34and he suggested
37:35that what we might
37:36be looking at
37:37was actually
37:37pyrotechnic planes.
37:40Pyrotechnic planes
37:41are aircraft
37:42that use their
37:43wide wingspan
37:44to slowly release
37:45fireworks
37:46from their wingtips.
37:47They've been used
37:48in a variety
37:49of functions
37:49from air shows
37:50or weddings
37:51to the deployment
37:52of destruction
37:52in war zones.
37:54But if that's
37:54what we're seeing
37:55who was the
37:56responsible party?
37:57All it took
37:58was a simple
37:58internet search
37:59of the business
38:00located in the
38:01area of the sighting.
38:02I run a company
38:03called Airborne
38:04Pyrotechnics
38:05and we fly
38:06a couple of
38:06Grog motor gliders
38:07with pyrotechnics
38:08and LEDs
38:09and this is my son
38:11Tom
38:11he's my second pilot.
38:14Airborne Pyrotechnics
38:15is run by
38:15Tim and Tom
38:16Dews
38:17who have flown
38:17all over the world
38:18and it's not
38:19the first time
38:20one of their displays
38:21has been mistaken
38:21for a UFO.
38:22They even have
38:23a warning on their
38:24website for that
38:24very reason.
38:26It's funny,
38:26you know,
38:26we can do a really
38:27nice display
38:28and put half a dozen
38:30pictures up
38:30and get 50 views
38:32and somebody takes
38:33a shaky wobbly
38:34video of us
38:36from 10 miles away
38:37and you can't even
38:38make out what it is,
38:39says the word UFO
38:41and it gets thousands,
38:43hundreds of thousands
38:44of views.
38:44I just can't
38:45understand it.
38:51Our new verdict?
38:53You guessed it.
38:54Airborne Pyrotechnics.
38:56The plane that
38:57do's fly.
38:58The Grub 109B
39:00is a twin-seat
39:01self-launching
39:02motor glider.
39:04It's been used
39:05by the Royal Air Force
39:06to train cadets
39:07in basic flying.
39:08From every corner
39:09of the globe,
39:10these unexplained
39:11lights and orbs
39:12continue to mystify
39:13and captivate.
39:14We may not have
39:15all the answers yet,
39:16but we will keep
39:17looking, analyzing
39:19and unraveling
39:20the truth.
39:21Thank you so much
39:22for watching this
39:23special edition
39:23of The Proof is Out
39:24There.
39:25Please send us
39:26any video,
39:26images,
39:27or sound
39:28that you think
39:29we should investigate
39:30and remember
39:31to keep those
39:32cameras rolling.
