00:30And there are many stories of Isengard to share.
00:33There is Isengard today on the verge of war.
00:36Isengard at the peak of its power.
00:37Really as a place where Saruman is developing this intense breeding program deep underground,
00:44creating new varieties of orcs and erruks.
00:49The development of the tower was something that we spent a lot of time on.
00:52It was something we wanted to get just right.
00:55And we know a lot about Orthanc from how Tolkien describes it in the books.
01:00A lot of metric information.
01:02It's 500 feet tall and the Isengard ring is a mile across.
01:07We worked closely with concept artists to arrive at the right approach we wanted to take with it.
01:16It is something that dates back to early Gondorian times.
01:21So the architecture is something we wanted to reflect what we've got in the game for Gondorian architecture.
01:27The space around the tower inside the ring of Isengard was something that we had a lot of fun with.
01:33It's just chaos in there with all kinds of elements.
01:39Tolkien alludes to a number of different things specifically which we brought in and really tried to bring to life
01:44with a lot of effects and lighting.
01:47There's also another story we can tell, the story of Isengard in the past, the story of Isengard the Pristine,
01:54with Saruman the White.
01:55And this is a place of real beauty.
01:58It's an open veil of lush meadows and grand trees, one of the sacred places of Middle-earth, one of
02:06the spaces that people will go to for refuge.
02:09You're going to get to go there as Grima Wormtongue, play through that experience, interact with Saruman as he makes
02:17his transition from Saruman the White to Saruman the Mini-Color.
02:21And takes his first steps on that path of evil.
02:24You'll also be there with Gandalf and you'll get to walk through the space, see the Palantir, and ultimately be
02:33part of Saruman's fall.
02:37Now there's one more story we haven't touched on here, which is Isengard of the Future.
02:42Isengard fallen, broken and flooded.
02:44And that's definitely something that we're all looking forward to as well.
02:47You can expect to see that in the months and years to come.
