01:00Where's the nearest wall that I can hit? Jump on that wall, jump off, kick off, reverse, go the other
01:04way.
01:05One of the advanced moves to do when you're wall running is to kick off the wall, land on the
01:11ground with some forward speed or momentum.
01:13As you touch the ground, you hit jump and you'll maintain that forward momentum if you do it just right.
01:19So it's all about really being creative by analyzing your environment and using that to your advantage.
01:25You can get out of your Titan and then set it to guard an area down on the D-pad.
01:30So if you're capturing a hard point and you need someone to guard the outside, just get out of your
01:35Titan.
01:35Put them in guard mode and go inside and capture the objective and he'll start wasting enemies for you.
01:40We have the wall hand and if you're wall running and you hold left trigger, you'll stick a knife into
01:45the wall and stick there like Spider-Man.
01:46So if someone's chasing you as a pilot, run into a door, double jump up behind you and stick on
01:52the wall.
01:53As he runs in underneath you, just pop him.
01:55As a Titan, you're going to want to not just charge in all the time.
01:59It's a very measured thing, I usually say.
02:00It's kind of like the combo of martial arts or a fighting game crossed with jet fighter combat.
02:07Here's something that you might not realize immediately upon playing is that when you fight other people, fight other, you
02:13know, fight the AI,
02:15every time you do some damage to them, you are actually reducing time from the time it takes to build
02:20your Titan.
02:20And also once you're in the Titan, the similar mechanic is at work in that as you damage things as
02:25a Titan,
02:26you are now building your core ability for that Titan.
02:28The whole concept of building these things up and escalating towards higher and higher levels of power is something to
02:33keep in mind when you play.
02:36You're also going to want to be careful for pilots jumping onto your Titan and rodeoing you.
02:40If that happens, you can get out, you can shoot them off, you can have your buddy come over and
02:43punch them off of you, which is very satisfying.
02:45When you have someone rodeoing you and you decide to punch out, you actually both get catapulted in the air
02:51at the same time.
02:52And something I saw that I thought was super cool was two dudes just up in the air, like 100
02:57feet off the ground,
02:58like free-falling and exchanging fire mid-air.
03:00I saw this and I was just like, damn, you could see them just, you know, lighting each other up
03:05in the air and it looked bad-ass.
03:06The coolest way to kill somebody in the game or defeat an opponent is with a Titanfall.
03:11So the best way to do that, and it's a little bit pro, you need to get, it takes a
03:14little practice to do this,
03:16but when you come up to an enemy Titan, you get the advantage off a rooftop or whatever, and you
03:20see him walking by,
03:21just jump at his head and you'll swoop in and lock onto him into a rodeo.
03:27Inside the cockpit, the opponent will hear you hit his hull.
03:31So most enemy pilots will dismount the Titan.
03:34Once a pilot dismounts a Titan and you're rodeoing it, the Titan takes an automatic knee.
03:39So if you can get a Titan to take a knee and you have enough time and you're skilled enough,
03:43you can aim straight down into that Titan and call in your Titan if you've got it queued up
03:48and have your Titan fall and crush everything and kill everybody.
03:51So it's the best, most satisfying way to get a kill in the game, I think, and it's the name
03:55of the game.
