00:00Hi Upload, I'm Ensa Boss and I'm back to give you another Titanfall Beta Breakdown.
00:04Now last time we took a look at the Custom Pilot Classes and this time we're going to break down
00:08the Custom Titan Class.
00:09And I've got Eriks here with me again because he's going to run you through his favorite Custom Titan Class.
00:14You'll get the ability to create a Custom Titan Class at level 10.
00:17Now at this point you can pick your Chassis, Primary Weapon, Tactical Ability, Ordnance and Tier 1 and 2 Kits.
00:23There's only one Chassis available at this time but in the full game there will be more.
00:27We've already seen the Atlas in game and the Strider and Ogre in trailers.
00:31The Atlas is obviously your all-around Titan, the Strider you can use for speed and agility and the Ogre
00:36is your tank.
00:37There are three choices of Primary Weapon, the XO-16 Chaingun, the 40mm Cannon and the Quad Rocket.
00:44The Chaingun is the most versatile in terms of maneuverability but it is the weakest against other Titans.
00:50The 40mm Cannon is a single-shot rifle which does more damage but has a lower fire rate.
00:55It's better for Titan-to-Titan combat but not so good against pilots due to the need for precision aiming.
01:01The Quad Rocket does the most damage against Titans but it does fire quite slowly and is a lot easier
01:06to dodge.
01:07Then there are two tactical abilities, Vortex Shield and Electric Smoke.
01:11The Vortex Shield allows you to catch incoming projectiles and fire them back at your enemies.
01:16The Electric Smoke allows you to drop a damaging smoke cloud that disrupts enemy Titan's vision while also damaging anything
01:22in the vicinity.
01:23It's also great for getting those pesky rodeo pilots off your back.
01:27Then there are two options for Ordnance, Rocket Salvo and Slave Warheads.
01:32Rocket Salvo allows more freedom as it can be fired anywhere and it shoots out a cluster of rockets in
01:37the direction you're facing.
01:39The Slave Warheads require a lock-on and fire sets of three homing missiles at a time.
01:43The Tier 1 kit can either be Nuclear Rejection, Regen Booster or a Fast Autoloader.
01:49Nuclear Rejection is useful if you're looking to take out people before you go down.
01:52Your Titan sets off a nuclear explosion when it self-destructs.
01:56Regen Booster speeds up the rate at which your shield recharges so this is good if you're trying to stay
02:00alive longer.
02:01And Fast Autoloader speeds up the reload on your Ordnance, allowing you to use those rockets sooner.
02:07Finally, the Tier 2 kit contains either Auto Eject or Survivor.
02:10Auto Eject does exactly what it says on the tin.
02:13It ejects you when your Titan is about to be destroyed so you don't have to.
02:16And Survivor reduces the rate at which your Titan loses its health while in the doomed state.
02:21In turn, allowing you to fight for much longer.
02:23So with that in mind, let's take a look at how I put that into practice.
02:26So I personally choose the 40mm Cannon as it's a good balance for killing Titans and Pilots.
02:31And given that it's got a bit of an explosive radius when hitting the ground, it is a little bit
02:35forgiving when aiming for Pilots.
02:36I also favour the Electric Smoke Tactical ability over the Vortex Shield as it's great for applying pressure to other
02:41Titans.
02:42Especially if you dash in, drop it in their face, then bombard them with rockets and bullets through the cloud.
02:47And this is even more effective if you're playing in Angel City and you can pin them in a corner,
02:50drop that electric smoke and you can really cause some serious damage.
02:53Especially if you mellow them in the face.
02:54I then use the Slave Warheads as the lock-on makes them super useful when you're fighting Titans that are
02:58dodging around.
02:59And to be honest, I only use them against Titans so I'm not that fussed about not being able to
03:02use them against Pilots.
03:03I then use the Fast Auto Loader to increase the rate at which I can use those Warheads.
03:07And finally, I use Survivor so that I can stick around a little bit longer while in the Doom State.
03:11Especially given that I do a lot of post-warters combat with my Titan, so I'm often fighting people while
03:15in the Doom State.
03:16So it does often mean I have a last hit.
03:18This setup is pretty robust and it also works really well with my Titan set to auto.
03:22Which is actually what I do most of the time.
03:24I tend to reside on the rooftops with my sniper rifle and let my Titan move around below, getting extra
03:28kills for me as well.
03:29Well, that's it for this video. Hopefully you guys found it useful.
03:32If you want to check out some of our other videos, then make sure you follow official uploads and as
03:36a friend.
03:37I'm EntaBoss, that was Eric, and we'll catch you next time.
