01:36the world. And so in my time, you know, thinking of ways to bring the space to
01:41life so that it's more than just a cave. So maybe I'm making some kind of
01:45luminescent algae or a new type of mushroom that players haven't seen
01:49before. And beyond that, it's also, you know, home to the drow and home to
01:53Schindleren. And so there's a lot of cool lore that we get to dig into with that
01:57as well.
01:58Schindleren in and of itself has a unique flavor, different from other
02:02drow cities. It's actually built on a huge ziggurat, sort of a triangular pyramid
02:06that is quite big. It underlies the entire city.
02:09We've been working very closely with Wizards of the Coast. This is a place
02:14that you can't directly get to. We can work around it in the Underdark as far as
02:19physical space, both as a player and in the way that it's designed.
02:23It's a trading city. It's a city of portals. In fact, actually, it has no physical
02:30connection to the rest of the Underdark. It exists in its own cavern and the only
02:34way to get in there is through portals. It's also located underneath Cormier. So
02:40this provides a good place to find conflict between the drow and Cormier.
02:44The drow are very evil in Dungeons and Dragons parlance. They're chaotic evil. Now most chaotic
02:52evil monsters tend to have a lot of infighting. The drow are like that, but
02:58they're a little bit more powerful and dominant. They're civilization builders.
03:02They plot against each other. They assassinate each other or make a
03:07temporary alliances to gain power. Basically, they see everybody as prey. They're all
03:12about how they can exploit somebody else to gain power for themselves. And they're
03:16very intelligent. They're high magic. They're one of the most dangerous and
03:21advanced civilizations out there, which makes them a really, really difficult
03:25enemy to go up against. Well, of course, there's a ton of monsters that we wanted to
03:30put into this release, and there's quite a few of them we got in there. So players
03:34will be excited that we have things like the Purple Worm, Dragoloth, different parts of the
03:39drow faction, like priestesses and other different roles that the drow are going to
03:44have, as well as driders, which are half a drow, half spider. Those are some of the
03:49monsters that are coming to the Underdark for sure. There may also be a brand new
03:54dragon in there somewhere. If players search through every corner of the space, they
03:58might find a nasty encounter with a new dragon they haven't seen before. It's
04:02generally a really cool space, and the monsters, of course, in the storyline are a big
04:06part of it.
