00:09Welcome to our Strider Vocation Overview video.
00:13Vocations are the classes of Dragon's Dogma and they shape your playstyle.
00:18There are 9 vocations that can be unlocked, but today we'll be focusing on 3 of them.
00:24Strider, Ranger and Magic Archer.
00:27Early in the game, once hitting Grand Soran, you can unlock new vocations.
00:35The Strider uses dual daggers and a sharp bow.
00:39They deal damage with blinding speed and deadly accuracy.
00:43They also have trap abilities and trick arrows.
00:48Striders do not excel in physical or magical defense.
00:51They also like their ability to knock down enemies or block their attacks, making them
00:57vulnerable.
00:58Strider is a challenging vocation and skill is required as you could easily become a meatbag
01:03against strong enemies.
01:07No vocation is more powerful from afar than the Ranger.
01:11Equipped with a longbow, they deliver punishing arrows from a distance, taking out enemies
01:16before they're able to come near.
01:18They also wield dual divers, making them capable of facing multiple opponents up close.
01:24But they can be weaker in melee combat.
01:27Nevertheless, rangers are excellent from afar.
01:30It's an extremely satisfying vocation to play.
01:36Equipped with magic bows, the Magic Archer is a vocation that weaves sorcery into every shot.
01:41They also cast sorcery into their daggers, making them excellent both up close and from afar.
01:48They have a higher level of magic defense than most other vocations.
01:52However, they are very vulnerable to being silenced.
01:56Magic Archers are masters in sorcery and of the magic bow.
01:59They offer a very varied playstyle and are a rather unique vocation.
02:05Whether you pick Strider, Ranger or Magic Archer, each vocation has their own speciality and playstyle.
02:13It's now up to you to unlock them all and discover which one suits you the best.
