00:37When we finished BORDERLANDS 2
00:39And as we dove into the DLC for it
00:41We really had so much more we wanted to bring to the BORDERLANDS universe
00:46That's why it was so exciting to discover
00:48That the team down in 2K Australia was available
00:51We talked to their designers, their designers talked to our designers
00:54The design team is pretty much one design team
00:56And that catered to every discipline
00:59Whether that be narrative, whether that be design, programming, art
01:03It's all fairly much intertwined now
01:05Everything that they bring to the table
01:07Everything that 2K Australia invents and adds to BORDERLANDS is a surprise
01:11I also am consuming all this stuff like a fan for the first time
01:15And it's been a real treat
01:17We've got four new character classes for BORDERLANDS 1st sequels
01:20The first one being Nisha, the Lorebringer
01:23We have Thinger, the Gladiator
01:24We also have Wilhelm, now Wilhelm was from BORDERLANDS 2 as well
01:28And one of the ones that we're really excited about
01:31Is bringing Claptrap as a playable character for the first time
01:34One of the coolest things about BORDERLANDS the pre-sequel
01:37Is because it's built as a starting point from the BORDERLANDS 2 technology
01:42It has all of the advantages and all of the features
01:45And all of the capabilities of that game
01:46And with the new environments bringing low gravity and no atmosphere
01:51There's a tremendous opportunity for new gameplay
01:54That the 2K Australia guys have just blown me away with
01:57We've invented things like low oxygen
01:59Because it doesn't have an atmosphere
02:01So what can you do with some mechanics with oxygen
02:03So we haven't just made it a resource
02:05We've made it into a strategy
02:06When I first realized that I could use the oxygen tanks as a jetpack
02:12And have longer jumps, have double jumps, I can hover, I can fly
02:17I mean it just added a whole new loop
02:18And then when I'm up there
02:20They added this new feature, I call it a ground pound
02:22I don't even know if it has an official name
02:24But basically when you're flying, when you're hovering
02:26When you're mid-air you hit the crouch button
02:28Bam! You just smash straight to the ground
02:30Leave an impact, stun everybody
02:33It's so much fun
02:34BORDERLANDS the pre-sequel is going to come later in 2014
02:38It's going to come to the Xbox 360
02:40The PlayStation 3
02:41And Windows PC
02:43It's a great time to jump in and check out what all the fuss is about
