00:06All right. This is good. This is good right here. Okay, gentlemen,
00:09this is a tough team fight. You know, match room is very high on
00:18Tara Moana and it's easy to see why represented Australia in the
00:212024 Olympics 9 and 0 so far as a professional and this power is
00:27real. Tara Moana compares himself a little bit to Lennox Lewis.
00:31I'm going to find out if that power of his carries into later
00:33rounds. Curtis Harper, sounds like a guy here. Look when you're
00:36ready. Look when you're ready. Bell. So here we go. Tara Moana
00:41has only been past round one once, but no one's made it out
00:46around two. Now four fights last year, four rounds total. And
00:52that power behind that right hand is sharp. The jab is sharp. He's
00:56not just a big puncher. He's a disciplined boxer who has a
01:00great amateur pedigree. Let him go. Let him go. What I like about
01:03Tara Moana. Quick one, too, but he sweeps it up nicely with a
01:07with a check left hook, which is something you don't see from
01:09big men a lot. So whenever Harper does come forward, he has bad
01:13balance. If he falls off balance, missing a right hand, you
01:15could expect Tara Moana to catch him with that check left
01:18hook. Well, hey, how does Harper catch Tara Moana, Sergio? He
01:21catches that. He catches encounters, you know, because when
01:23Tara Moana does unleash, you know, he puts a lot of power
01:26behind it. So big men, you know, you can catch and counter
01:30him real nicely at the right time with accuracy, then that's
01:33how you can hurt them. You know, it's a little surprising to
01:35see Curtis Harper in this fight. He did fight just three weeks
01:38ago, went the full eight rounds and losing a decision. It's a
01:41pretty quick turnaround for Curtis Harper. He said he took this
01:44fight because, hey, I want to make money. I'm a boxer. That's my
01:47profession. And I'm not turning down this paycheck. And he said
01:51he's got five kids to feed. So here we are. There you go.
01:57Nice overhand right by Harper. But if he could catch some of
02:00Tara Moana's punches and then come over the top, then that's
02:03when you catch him off balance. You see, Tara Moana compared
02:06himself to Lennox Lewis. That's how Lennox Lewis got knocked
02:08out. You know, when he was catching counter by overhand
02:11right.
02:15Lennox Lewis, was that Hasim Rahman or Oliver McCall?
02:17Rahman. Rahman. When he got caught with that big right hand.
02:22That's one thing about Tara Moana. As hard as he hits, he also
02:25gets hit. He's willing to walk through some punches to land some
02:28of his own. Harper leans over his front feet. He's a sucker for
02:32uppercuts. That's a punch that Tara Moana doesn't throw often.
02:35But if they've seen Harper on video, they will know that's a
02:37punch that will mend.
02:38He also keeps that guard really wide. Straight shot seems to be a
02:42kryptonite for Harper.
02:47Overhand right again from Harper. That appears to be his strategy.
02:50Try and catch him with that shot.
02:54There it is again, but he ate one in the process and now being backed up in
02:57the corner by the Australian.
03:01This fight's not going to last too much longer. Tara Moana doesn't let
03:04fighters clinch. That's what I like about him. He steps back just like that and
03:07never lets a fighter get too close. I would love to see him throw an
03:11uppercut, but either that or line him up for that right hand.
03:16Tara Moana said he once weighed over 300 pounds. Said he wanted to look like
03:19big George Foreman in there, but said he couldn't walk up the stairs after his
03:23fights. He was so exhausted. So decided to lean out a little bit. Now he's 40
03:27pounds lighter and looks much better.
03:29Well, he's told us this week, multiple people have confused him for Jason
03:33LaMolla.
03:34Aquaman.
03:37So Harper will do it. Oh, God. Say he made it out of the first round, but he won't
03:42make it out. That is it. Tara Moana. His path of destruction continues.
03:49Add another first round knockout in that man's resume. Tara Moana. Tara Moana with
03:55another destruction in under three minutes. Nine of his ten KOs have come in
04:00round one. Wow. That was a Julian Jackson type knockout where they're out before
04:11they hit the canvas. They get knocked out twice by the punch and by the canvas and
04:15they don't move. That was scary. That was beautiful.
04:20Incredible stuff from Tara Moana. It looked like Harper was going to make it to round
04:25two, but no, sorry. This massive mound, this massive man, he's a mound of a man, that's
04:34for sure, has delivered another KO. Ten and oh, ten knockouts. He told us he wants to be
04:42worldwide, number one in USA and the United Kingdom. He wants everyone in the world to
04:47recognize him and know who he is. And you keep doing this, word will spread.
04:52Listen, notice how he stepped back just slightly. This is what I was talking about
04:56about Tara Moana. Right here, slight little faint, but that short right hand. You couldn't
05:01even see that right hand and you could bet Curtis Harper definitely didn't see that right hand
05:06because he didn't pull it back. There's that little step back and boom! Right on the tip of
05:10the chin. That is scary right there, Todd. Arms flip. Go back like that. Out before you hit the canvas.
05:18I mean, how much longer can they kind of keep this guy behind the curtain, Sergio? If he keeps
05:23doing this, they're going to have to step him up in competition sooner than later. Ten fights,
05:28eight first-round knockouts. No, nine first-round knockouts. That is scary. Yeah.
05:38Incredible stuff for Tara Moana, Tara Moana. It looked like a rather pedestrian first round until
05:43that right hand connected. And that was all she wrote.
06:07David Diamante makes it official.
06:14David Diamante makes it official.
06:16One calls a halt to this contest. The official time of the stoppage. Two minutes, 59 seconds of round
06:23number one. Declaring your winner by knockout. He's still undefeated. Tara Moana!
06:31Tara Moana!
06:41And here comes his dance. Known for the bee ceremonial dance in honor of his family and his
06:49Cook Islander heritage.
07:05Tara Moana says his family's from the Puka Puka area and only 300 people live there. But he's so proud
07:13of his
07:13of his heritage and where he's from.
