00:00The Strait of Hormuz remains open to all shipping except vessels linked to Iran's enemies,
00:07Iran's representative to the UN Maritime Agency said on Sunday, according to Reuters,
00:13after US President Donald Trump threatened to target Iranian power plants if the waterway
00:18was not fully open within 48 hours. The threat of Iranian attacks during the
00:24US-Israeli war on Iran has kept most ships from getting through the narrow strait,
00:29the conduit for around a fifth of global oil and liquefied natural gas supplies,
00:35threatening a global energy shock. Ali Mousavi said Tehran was ready to cooperate with the
00:42International Maritime Organization to improve maritime safety and protect seafarers in the
00:48Gulf, adding that ships not linked to Iran's enemies could pass the strait by coordinating
00:53security and safety arrangements with Tehran. Mousavi said diplomacy remained Iran's priority but
01:02stressed that a complete cessation of aggression along with mutual trust and confidence was more
01:08important, adding that Israeli and US attacks on Iran were at the root of the current situation
01:14in the strait of Hormuz. Panyujo, FMT.
