00:08personal with the brand new model of the PlayStation Vita.
00:19Let's get started first of all by taking a look at the box.
00:23This will be the new box for the new PlayStation Vita model, and we can also put it next to
00:27the old box, which we can see it's already smaller, lighter, and made of a slightly different material as well.
00:34Take a look at the back as well, a lot less wording, a lot more images, a lot more interesting
00:39to look at.
00:39And that goes for the side as well, which also includes images of the PlayStation Vita from different angles, where
00:44the older box has a lot more words on it.
00:48Okay, let's take a look inside the box.
01:01So this is what you'll get inside the new box. You've of course got your AR Playcast, which will be
01:07tucked inside of here.
01:10The important paperwork you get with any new device, quick start guides, and your guarantees, as well as your safety
01:17guides.
01:17You've got to be safe when you use your PlayStation Vita.
01:21We've then got the power adapter, your plug, the power brick, and a micro USB cable.
01:33PlayStation Vita will now charge by a micro USB, so you can use similar chargers that you might use, for
01:38example, your mobile phone.
01:42Now this is the most important bit, this is of course the Vita itself.
01:47And there we go, there is the brand new PlayStation Vita model.
01:57The brand new PlayStation Vita model has a completely redesigned internal architecture, is 20% slimmer, 15% lighter, and
02:05features a brand new high definition LCD front display.
02:08The new PlayStation Vita model has a more rounded body, a more trimmed down shape, and the start and select
02:14buttons are now rounded and convex to make them easier to push.
02:17The new model will also contain 1GB of internal memory, so you can start gaming straight out of the box.
02:22The two lights at the top will give you power indication and let you know when you've got new notifications.
02:28And on the bottom we have the micro USB charging port.
02:31The redesign of the internal architecture of the new model has also increased its battery life, giving you 4-6
02:36hours of gameplay, as opposed to 3-5 hours with the older model.
02:40The new model is also 15% lighter, meaning it weighs in at a tiny 219 grams.
02:46The new LCD screen has been developed exclusively for this PlayStation Vita model.
02:51The screen allows PlayStation to mount a higher resolution, more reliable and tougher screen without losing any of the touch
02:57sensitivity.
