00:00Hi, I'm Matt from Sucker Punch with an introduction to our new Photo Mode feature.
00:05Photo Mode is a new tool for setting up screenshots in Infamous Second Son.
00:09Enter Photo Mode, set up your shot, and share it with the Share button.
00:13Let's get started.
00:14The first thing you need to do is enable Photo Mode.
00:17Open the Pause menu, hit Triangle to access the Options menu,
00:22and navigate to the new Photo Mode option.
00:24Set it to Enabled.
00:25Now, you can click the left stick to enter Photo Mode anytime you have control of the camera.
00:31Let's try it.
00:32Exit the Pause menu and do something cool.
00:34Now click the left stick.
00:36The game will pause, and the Photo Mode UI will pop up.
00:39This UI shows you all the Photo Mode controls,
00:42including the button to hide the controls when you're ready to share your picture.
00:45More on that in a minute.
00:47First, let's see what we can do here.
00:48Using the up and down buttons on the D-pad,
00:51you can select from a menu of simple editors.
00:53The first editor is Camera Orientation.
00:55Use the right stick to orbit the camera.
00:57It works just like it does in the live game.
00:59Use the left stick to adjust camera pan and tilt.
01:02Use the left and right shoulder buttons to roll the camera for those extreme action shots.
01:07If you go too far or get lost,
01:08you can click the right stick in any editor to reset the settings for that editor.
01:13The next two editors are pretty simple.
01:15First, Camera Position.
01:16Use the left stick to move the camera forward and back.
01:19Next, Field of View.
01:20Use the left stick to zoom the camera in and out.
01:24The next editor allows you to adjust the depth of field settings and it works more or less like a
01:29real camera.
01:30The top shoulder buttons change the f-stop, or blur, from nothing at all to pretty extreme.
01:36The left stick moves the focus distance back and forth.
01:40Remember, you can always click the right stick to get back to the default settings.
01:44The last editor is for color grading.
01:46Use the D-pad left and right to select a color grading style.
01:49All right, okay, so you've set up the virtual Pulitzer Prize winning photo.
01:54Now what?
01:54Easy.
01:55Hit triangle to hide the UI.
01:57It's a toggle, so hit it again to turn it back on.
02:00And use the share button to publish your photo.
02:02If you want to re-pose your shot, exit photo mode by clicking the left stick again,
02:06get things set up the way you want, and click the left stick to re-engage photo mode.
02:10One last note.
02:11Photo mode is available in most game situations,
02:14except when you're not in control of the camera in the first place, like in a cutscene.
02:18The share button, of course, is always available.
02:21Enjoy your power and take some pictures, too!
02:23Thanks for watching!
