01:06With Lego Batman 2, the setting was still Gotham
01:08and we had around about 50 playable characters.
01:10Now we're beyond Gotham, there's way more stuff to play with.
01:14This is almost an A to Z of DC Comics.
01:16We've got every single character we can possibly get into this video game.
01:20We've got some incredible playable characters like Blue Vita, Shazam is amazing,
01:26The Lanterns, Sinestro, Laughly, Satrocitus, Saint Walker, Star Sapphire
01:32and we've also brought some incredible new villains and bosses.
01:36I've read comics with Polka-Dot Man, he's in there.
01:40You might have seen a crazy character like Condiment King.
01:43He's in there with his ketchup gun and his mustard gun.

02:00There is so many characters that we've just found
02:04and then actually fallen in love with.
02:06We have an amazing opportunity expanding to the wider DC Universe
02:11to go crazy with creatures, with different worlds, with different abilities
02:17has just opened up a world of possibilities for us.
02:20And what's great with this is these characters allow us
02:22to do things we wouldn't have done in the past.
02:24We have the return of big figs in the game.
02:26But not only do we have big figs, we now have flying big figs.
02:28The great thing about LEGO games is that we're allowed to play with dynamics
02:32that haven't been experienced before.
02:34And as such, you can put characters in situations where things that happen
02:38between the Justice League members, but to be able to bounce characters like Grundy
02:42and make it the game off of Wonder Woman when they're working together.
02:45It really allows us as a team to kind of bring the humor out.

02:52We're always looking for ways of giving the fans a character they know and love,
02:56but also giving them something new and fun.

02:59And to do that across over 150 characters and know that the fans are going to love this

03:07So LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham is about us being fanboys and delivering a game
03:12that fanboys are going to want.
03:13Yes, we've got the Justice League.
03:15Yes, we've got the Legion of Doom.
03:16Yes, we've got the Lantern characters.
03:18But we want it to be the biggest, the best LEGO Batman game there's been.
