00:14I've been involved with the Avatar World
00:16I've been involved with the Avatar World for a pretty long time, pretty much since its inception.
00:20We were pretty involved with the story of this game early on, me, Brian, Joaquim Dos Santos, and Tim Hedrick,
00:28who wrote the game.
00:30All powwowed for a few hours and talked about where this could be in the timeline, what kind of story
00:37could we do that didn't tread on what we were going to do in book three and four, but could
00:43still be its kind of own standalone story.

00:51I've known Mike and Brian since the 90s, and when Avatar first started going, they asked us at Tim Mouse
00:58to do the main title.
01:03Korra, I didn't get to work on that one until now!
01:10And we're super excited that they got to do the cutscenes for the game.

01:17Activision said, you know, are there any animation studios you could recommend, and it finally lined up.

01:24We're going to show you the process of how Legend of Korra was made.
01:30As a director, it is my job to kind of oversee the team and make sure that, you know, everyone
01:34is painting the same style to match the style of Korra.
01:42We look at the storyboards, and we look at the key poses, and we try to basically bring the storyboards
01:48to life.
01:49So after the storyboard is set, is when the actual full animation team gets to work.

02:01So as you can see, we've got a room entirely full of talented artists, and we all work together and
02:07pre-planned the shots and the sequence we have to make.
02:09So as you see, like, everyone on their own individual computers have to work on their own specific shot.
02:18It's come out, just incredible.
