00:39reworked mechanics, refined locations, anticipated vehicles, and a huge assortment of improvements.
00:45We'll start with something you've all been asking for. The White Rock Fortress map is back, all reworked and much
00:54prettier.
00:55We've updated the looks of buildings and plants, improved the visual integrity of the landscape, and are now ready to
01:02give you some brand new visuals.
01:04Another reworked location is the Ardennes. The approach here is the same, improving the visuals without impacting the game process.
01:13And now it's time to see the new vehicles.
01:17One of the main new additions is a Russian surface-to-air missile complex, the Pantsir SM-SV.
01:24This version can boast a tracked chassis, a new AESA radar, and unique missiles.
01:31The compact TKB-1055 comes in packages of four instead of a single large missile.
01:38Its range is a bit modest, but it compensates for that, with excellent acceleration and maneuverability.
01:44The second missile is the Hypersonic 95 YAH-6M.
01:49It can boast extraordinary speed and a unique shrapnel warhead that splits into multiple parts next to the target.
01:57Since we're talking about anti-air, it's a good chance to mention the new AA mechanics.
02:02We're adding an extended system for customizing and controlling weaponry, a way to replace missiles on launchers,
02:09a flexible munition selection in the respawn menu, and a new mechanic to control missile engines linked to the guidance
02:16system.
02:17The latter might be useful on vehicles like the Israeli Spider, which, by the way, receives a new dual-pulse
02:24missile, the Derby ER.
02:26This new ordnance significantly extends the range of the vehicle.
02:30We have a bunch of additions for pilots, too.
02:33The Italian aircraft tree receives a new branch of Hungarian prop planes.
02:38The new vehicles include both familiar aircraft of other nations with some unique looks, as well as unique local machines.
02:48Moreover, the Hungarian branch includes some German aircraft previously unavailable in the game.
02:54We mean the twin-engine Me-210.
02:57They're also being added to the German tech tree and Japan's premium line.
03:02Another new aircraft is a squadron one.
03:05Meet the Swedish Gripen D, a combat trainer.
03:09This is the same lightweight, versatile fighter, only as a two-seater.
03:14The Soviet aircraft fleet welcomes the new versions of the legendary MiG-29.
03:20One version we'd like to highlight here is the MiG-29M 915, available as a squadron vehicle.
03:27The engineers put a lot of effort into improving all traits of this fighter before the USSR collapsed.
03:33The modification never made it to mass production, but became the foundation of all the modern versions of the MiG
03:40-29 and the MiG-35.
03:42In War Thunder, this aircraft can boast eight wing hardpoints and a versatile loadout, including TV-guided air-to-surface
03:50munitions, as well as the R-77 missiles.
03:53China's tech tree receives one of the most modern carrier-based fighters, the J-15T.
03:59It's equipped with advanced electronics, an AESA radar, and improved weaponry, including the brand-new PL-12A missiles.
04:08Its capability for hitting all types of targets makes it a great multi-role fighter in top-rank battles.
04:14Another new aircraft with versatile weaponry is the American F-16C Block 52.
04:21It retains the advantages and versatility of previous models, but an AESA radar and the new AIM-120D missiles make
04:30it an even more dangerous aerial opponent.
04:32Tankers can now join battles with the Italian Centauro II.
04:36Its new engine brings the wheeled base to a new level, an autoloader creates a flurry of 120mm shells, and
04:44the new blowout panels for the ammo rack improve survivability.
04:48If you're looking for something heavier, there's the Chinese ZTZ-96B.
04:54Compared to its predecessor, it can boast a more powerful engine and an improved transmission.
04:59To our captains, we can offer the German Z-52 destroyer, with excellent speed and maneuverability.
05:07It's armed with versatile 128mm cannons and experimental 55mm anti-aircraft guns.
05:15Test flights for French aircraft can now begin on the Foch aircraft carrier, that served in the second half of
05:22the 20th century.
05:23The bulk of its firepower came from the Crusader and Etendarr aircraft.
05:27We've also been working on the models of vehicles introduced into the game with previous updates.
05:33This time we've reworked the D-3A-1, crafted cockpits for the B-24, the Ka-29, the Z-19,
05:42and the AH-56,
05:44and added more detailed, improved damage models for all Arrieta tanks, Su-27 aircraft, as well as the Little Bird
05:53and BO-105 helicopters.
05:56The first major update of the year brings a lot more than that, though.
06:01For instance, there's a new Sound Mode designed specifically for headphones.
06:06It improves horizontal and vertical positioning, allowing you to better distinguish the sounds of your environment,
06:13like engine noise, weapon fire, and explosions.
06:15The mode comes with six settings, so that you can pick the one that suits your gear best.
06:22Our water rendering system is now much more realistic.
06:26Waves and ripples on the surface are now more natural, and hits on the water produce more detailed splashes.
06:32Aircraft radars now have new features like scale and filter,
06:36while detection radars can now show target types in the TWS mode.
06:41Naval battles offer improved effects and tracers, making it much easier to pinpoint the origin of incoming fire.
06:49And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
06:51We've also updated stat cards for vehicles and the crew upgrade menu,
06:56the 11th vehicle slot is now available for Golden Eagles,
07:00and the torpedoes you launch are now displayed on the mini-man.
07:03There's something new in every aspect of the game.
