00:01As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu
00:03This blessed Eid arrives at a time when our hearts are heavy with sorrow
00:08And our Ummah stands alone at the lowest point
00:11Across the world, the suffering of Muslims unfolds before our very eyes
00:16The genocide in Gaza, the slaughter in Sudan, and the ongoing aggression against our brothers and sisters in Iran
00:22On every inch of the earth, this Ummah bleeds
00:26We have reached a moment in time in which some have accepted a humiliation
00:31Willing to surrender their zakah to their enemies as a form of jizya
00:35Our blood has been cheapened by those who oppose us
00:39And sadly at times by our own hands
00:42This is the very blood whose sanctity was declared by the Messenger of Allah
00:47When he said
00:49كل المسلم على المسلم حرام
00:52دمه وماله وعرضه
00:53Everything of a Muslim is sacred to another
00:56Muslim, his blood, his wealth and his honor
00:59Enough is enough
01:01How much more longer will we watch this suffering unfold?
01:04We have witnessed how our enemies see us as one body
01:09Even while we see ourselves as fragmented, separated by borders and divided by flags
01:14These divisions were created to weaken our resolve, exploit our resources and violate our lands
01:22Yet this very division is a violation of our deen
01:25Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says
01:27وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا
01:31And hold firmly to the rope of Allah altogether
01:34And do not become divided
01:35This Ummah can no longer afford to abandon the noble and obligatory work
01:42Of restoring the Islamic way of life
01:44And protecting the blood and dignity of this Ummah
01:47And yet despite the pain
01:49Despite the trials
01:51We still extend our warmest greetings to you
01:54And your loved ones on this blessed Eid
01:57May Allah accept our fasting, our prayers and our dua
02:01May he have honored us with Laylatul Qadr
02:04And he grant us his complete forgiveness and mercy
02:08We do not ask that you abandon the celebration of Eid
02:12Rather our obedience to Allah itself is an act of defiance against falsehood
02:17To honor what Allah has made sacred is a sign of taqwa
02:22Allah says
02:23ذَلِكَ وَمَنْ يُعَضِّمْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ
02:28That is so in whoever honors the symbols of Allah
02:31Indeed it is from the piety of the hearts
02:35So celebrate this Eid
02:37But celebrate it with awareness
02:39Celebrate it with hearts that feel the pain of the Ummah
02:43With minds that recognize the depth of our challenges
02:47And with determination to pursue the correct path forward
02:52Let this Eid not only be a day of joy
02:55But also a moment of awakening
02:57Let it inspire in us the work to resume the Islamic way of life
03:02To act sincerely, courageously, and diligently
03:05Until the Ummah once again regains its shield and protection
03:10A khilafah on the footsteps of prophethood
03:13Eid Mubarak
03:15وكل عاما وأنتم بخير
03:17والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
