00:09Today we're going to show you a level called the Sea.
00:12Like all the environments in Unravel, it's based on northern Sweden, our home.
00:16It's inspired by happy sunny memories of going to the coast, both as a child and as a parent.
00:23Unravel is a game about reaching out, about mending broken bonds.
00:29Yarny has to make it to the end of the game without running out of yarn.
00:33You can find more yarn in the levels, like this little ball here, and use it to get further.
00:40Sometimes that extra yarn can be hidden or hard to reach.
00:43Without yarn, you can't move on, so you have to think about how you use it.
00:53Here, you can tie two knots to create a bridge, which also doubles up as a slingshot.
00:58You have to be careful though, so Yarny doesn't get washed away.
01:04You need something to protect Yarny from the waves.
01:06And that boat fender floats, so you can use it as a raft and stay safe.
01:16But it's got more uses too, because it's so buoyant.
01:22The gameplay is all physics based.
01:24It's got a few touches of magic, but it's grounded in realism.
01:28What you do and how you tackle problems is really up to you and your creativity.
01:33When things get more difficult, you'll have to think of different ways to combine Yarny's abilities
01:38or use things in the environment to find the way forward.
01:42This looks like a dead end.
01:44That's way too high to jump.
01:46It's a good thing you can use your yarn to climb out.
01:51Okay, let's think this through and try another approach.
01:55Yarny needs that raft again.
01:57But getting it over to the other side is going to be a little bit tricky.
02:04You're going to have to build a couple of yarn bridges.
02:09You see, those yarn bridges, they can carry objects too.
02:12So you can make one to get the fender out of the water.
02:28And when you've done that, you can build another bridge
02:31and use that to move the fender over the wooden post.
02:47And now you can push your little raft in place
02:50and you can cross the water safely.
02:52Well, fairly safe anyway.
03:02As you can see, the gameplay is about overcoming obstacles,
03:07about using yarn and the environment to find the path forward.
03:12But there are many other kinds of moments beyond the obstacles.
03:16Moments of reflection, of wonder, of beauty and discovery.
