02:42now the thing that's really incredible about what you're seeing is just the
02:46the density of data that's involved in this
02:49each of these scenes is over 63 million polygons per scene
02:54that's about 6 to 12 times more than we could do with DX11
02:59just to give you an idea on the textures that are that you're seeing here
03:03those are 8k by 8k textures again significantly more than we're able to do
03:08I think where it gets really interesting though is look at the hair
03:12every piece of hair that you're seeing is actually being rendered as a polygon
03:16this isn't surface map stuff
03:17and as those polygons are running through the pipeline
03:21they're running over 50 different shaders to go through this
03:24and to generate that level of clarity on this
03:27I think it's an incredible example of just how far people are pushing the limits of big data and technology
03:34bringing it together and really building experiences that would be hard to build almost any other way
03:39and so our thanks to the folks at Square Enix for letting us show this off and for building it
03:43incredible piece of technology and art put together
03:45now that's sort of a high-end incredibly fun
