00:27I'm having a great time. It's amazing. I've never been to PAX before, and it's got a really great vibe.
00:32There's tons of fans, meaning tons of Shantae fans, and it's really neat.
00:37Oh yeah, there's been a constant queue of people lined up to get the latest and greatest from the Shantae
00:41franchise here.
00:42Yeah, there's people that have backed us on Kickstarter, and they've never seen the game in action before, and they're
00:47real excited to get their hands on it, and they're all really happy.
00:49And there's people that have heard of Shantae and never had a chance to play it, and they're walking away
00:54saying, oh man, I can't wait to go check out the ones that exist.
00:57They want to go get Pirate's Curse and other games. They're having lots of fun. It's a really neat experience.
01:01The community support is infectious. It's awesome to see it here. But what can you tell us about this game
01:07in particular? What's different about Half-Genie Hero?
01:09What's different about Half-Genie Hero is it's the first time we're building the game for console first. Usually the
01:14games have been on handheld before. The game's being made in, it's all been hand-drawn animation.
01:20The game's 1080p, 60 frames a second. So it's got beautiful, gorgeous painted backgrounds that are all made in 3D.
01:29It's a big story. There's going to be lots of playable characters in the game.
01:32It's going to have more transformations than previous Shantae titles. And it's just a fun experience. It's going to be
01:39a great action game with our Genie. And it's just a lot of fun.
01:45No, it's awesome. And like I said before, the love surrounding the franchise here is incredible. So it's looking really
01:53polished. It's looking pretty close. What can you tell us about launch timing on Wii U?
01:57Well, you know, we were hoping to be out in 2015. We're still hoping for a holiday release. You know,
02:03that's the plan still right now. You know, it might slip. We don't know. But we're just going to keep
02:07working on the game until it's done.
02:09And we just need to be as good as it can be because we got a lot of backers that
02:12are expecting to be a great game. And, you know, we just got to keep pushing it until it's the
02:17best it can be.
02:17Well, you guys are famous for that. Always an amazing attention to detail to the gameplay experience overall. So thank
02:24you so much for coming out to not only the Nindies Lounge, but also Nindies at night and participating in
02:29all of our activities here.

02:46Yeah, I think she has a pretty iconic idol for this game. I can probably show that off.
