CTP (S3E145) AI Music continued... Good, Bad, Ugly...
Exploring more of the fascinating intersection of Activism, Community Engagement, Faith / Religion, Human Nature, Politics, Social Issues, and beyond
We follow up on AI music by showing what I’m building with Suno after years away from instruments and recording gear. I share a playlist of AI-generated tracks that range from personal tributes to parodies, plus a few pointed messages about voice, truth, and what can’t be faked live.
• why I moved from physical instruments to Suno AI music creation
• where to find my Suno page and the growing song list (https://tinyurl.com/JLDonSUNO)
• how I use AI for both serious themes and parody songwriting
• why AI voices make live performance unrealistic right now
• “Life and Living” as an open-book message about choices and healing (based on https://tinyurl.com/LifeAndLivingSeries)
• tributes for deployed service members and my dad’s band
• holiday humor with “tear in my green beer” and a Cinco de Mayo party track
• pro-life themes and protecting the most vulnerable
• keeping humor alive through lame puns
• letting people breathe and giving others freedom
• a sports-themed diss track aimed at “Mediocre Max”
• support for law enforcement and first responders in “Back The Blue”
• faith-driven lines about truth and authority (based on https://tinyurl.com/ChristiTutionalistEduSeries)
• “facts and details matter” as a push for context in journalism

00:00Hello, welcome to another episode of Perstitutionalist Podcast. I am your host, Joseph M. Leonard. That's L-E-N-A
00:11-R-D. It's the French. It's not. It's Leonard without an O.
00:17Thank you for tuning in, as Graham Norton used to say, on his show. Let's get on with the show!
00:26Welcome to Season 3. I'm checking my notes, Episode 145. No sooner did I record last week's episode. Actually, full
00:41disclosure, recorded in February when that guest was a no-show and I went out with the AI music topic.
00:50Well, this week, Saturday, March the 28th, 2026, I'm doing AI music follow-up.
01:02They follow-up to that one. I'm actually recording this one in March.
01:08But no sooner did I record that, and then I started more seriously playing with the Suno AI music system
01:22to record since I sold off my instruments and recording equipment and, you know, PA, amp, guitars, and keyboards, and
01:36all that stuff.
01:37Sold it off years ago when I went on disability.
01:40I did write dad.
01:44Ted Leonard Jr. and the Polk Kings have spoken about them before.
01:49So, I come from a musical family.
01:52I did spend some years writing and recording music.
01:56I've got nothing available digitally from that time to play for you.
02:03I never got a record deal like dad did in their three albums.
02:08I didn't record Polka music.
02:10But I wrote and recorded music while I don't have the equipment anymore, nor do I have the energy to
02:20put into something like that now.
02:23But AI music is available.
02:27So, I started playing with it more.
02:30And I will tack on some Suno AI-aided music.
02:39Some lyrics that I wrote.
02:42Suno AI helped in some.
02:45Other songs on Suno.
02:48You can find...
02:50I can't talk again.
02:53TinyURL.com slash J-L-D on Suno.
02:59Suno S-U-N-O.
03:02So, TinyURL.com slash J-L-D on Suno.
03:08I'm piling up quite a bit of music there now, actually.
03:13Some silly, some serious.
03:15I basically wrote a song, compiled a song for each of my life and living series of books, except Terror
03:26Strikes.
03:27But the books two through four, and actually the fifth one in that series that will be my 13th book
03:35overall,
03:36I've written a song in advance called Roller Coasters.
03:41So, I've racked up quite a bit of music.
03:44Some of it, that very serious stuff, and a bunch of parodies.
03:50I find the AI music is great for fun and silly parody stuff.
03:57It's gotten a lot better.
04:00It's pretty good.
04:02The problem, of course, is what are you going to do?
04:08Use holograms?
04:09It can create music, and you could create a video to go with it, or the Suno system will compile
04:21a music video,
04:23which is actually basically a lyric video.
04:27It tracks along with the song as the song is playing, the video it produces, and I have some of
04:37them.
04:39Tinyurl.com slash CTP on BitChute.
04:45Some of them are up there.
04:47I will tack some on at the end of this episode.
04:53So, this is going to be a short recorded segment.
04:56Then I'm going to play some of the songs.
04:58Some serious.
05:01Couple, you know, three.
05:03I'm planning fun parodies.
05:08Cinco de Tuno, I call it, a parody for Cinco de Mayo, a St. Paddy's parody jig, a play on
05:19the country song,
05:20There's a Tear in My Beer.
05:22Well, there's a tear in my green beer.
05:25I also have one for, oh, I'm looking at my notes.
05:32I didn't put it down here.
05:33Cinco de Mayo, St. Patrick's Day.
05:37I thought I did another holiday one.
05:41I'm forgetting offhand here now.
05:43Maybe I'll tack that one on to Red Friday for Remember Everyone Deployed.
05:48Very good, serious song.
05:52Life and Living, based on the Life and Living book series.
05:57Accordion in Heaven, a tribute to my dad and his band.
06:04We Hear Their Cries.
06:06I wrote for, I'm part of Upper Down River, Michigan, Right to Life group.
06:12I pro-life anthem.
06:15I'm looking down, trying to make notes of what else I might want to tack on for you to hear.
06:25But those, and maybe a couple more.
06:30But unless if they're going to invent a hologram, you can't see this live.
06:39It's not real people music.
06:41I didn't record it with my instruments.
06:44I don't have a backup band that I could go on tour with and perform these live.
06:50Plus, each tune kind of has a different voice.
06:54So, each tune is almost as if it's a different group.
06:58I couldn't perform these live, even if I had a backup band.
07:03And also, if I found singers to match the voices created by the Suno AI system.
07:10So, unless if Tilly Norwood, the AI actress that has the left celebrities, actors and actresses, all worried whether they're
07:24going to lose their jobs.
07:26Now, they didn't care if you might lose your job to AI.
07:29But now AI could make a movie.
07:34But unless if we get a Tilly Norwood and maybe a fake brother Tommy Norwood to act in videos to
07:43make real, true music videos of these and project them on a screen to do a concert.
07:52These are all just internet tunes.
07:56Nothing that can be performed live unless a live band decides to cover it.
08:04So, at any rate, I just wanted to do a quick update.
08:10The AI has gotten a lot better and it will get even better more over time.
08:18I want to let you be the judge on what you think the quality of AI music is.
08:26So, without any further ado, I'm going to just play back to back to back some of the songs I
08:33created in part with Suno music.
08:38Oh, lyrics.
08:40Some of the lyrics are mine.
08:42Some are filled in by the Suno AI.
08:45Others rock.
08:47X-A-I's rock.
08:49Help me write lyrics.
08:51One song, I forget which one, wrote all the lyrics for a song.
08:57And I liked them.
08:58I was joking with Grok about doing a song and Grok came up with a set of lyrics.
09:05So, I said, okay, I'll compile that on Suno for you.
09:09I created it.
09:09I don't remember which one of the tunes it was that I did.
09:13But in the song details of each, I say, if I created some of the lyrics, Suno AI helped or
09:21Grok X-A-I may have helped.
09:26Each of the songs is the Suno music system's music.
09:32Two different musical styles.
09:34That's the benefit of the AI.
09:36They can mimic any style.
09:39So, at any rate, here's some of the songs.
09:44You be the judge on how good or bad they are.
09:49Take care.
09:50God bless.
09:50Love you all.
09:52Life and living.
09:54All our lines on display.
09:57Every choice that we're given.
09:59Write another page today.
10:02Open book on the table.
10:05Dog it hope.
10:07Coffee stains.
10:07Some days I feel so able.
10:10Some days I'm stuck in my pain.
10:14Sold in the balance.
10:15So we're so good.
10:16So good.
10:17Try to tilt that scale like we always said we would.
10:20Make humanity better.
10:21More we're given than we took.
10:22Real sister, real brother.
10:24Write love in this open book.
10:26Like, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh.
10:30The little things that we're doing carry further than we see.
10:35One kind word in the ruin.
10:39And bless a quiet, stubborn seed.
10:41I've been wrong.
10:43I've been selfish.
10:44I've been blind to what you feel.
10:47But every time I get helpless, you remind me we can heal.
10:52Sold in the balance.
10:54So we're so good.
10:55So good.
10:56Try to tilt that scale like we always said we would.
10:59Make humanity better.
11:00More we're given than we took.
11:01Real sister, real brother.
11:03I love in this open book.
11:05If my heart starts closing, push it back.
11:09Pull me through.
11:10Pull me through.
11:11Your life starts fading.
11:13I'll hold a mirror for you.
11:17We keep adding our pages line by line, day by day.
11:23May the weight of our kindness be the heaviest thing we made.
11:28Sold in the balance.
11:30So we so good.
11:31So good.
11:31Try to tilt that scale like we always said we would.
11:34Make humanity better.
11:36More we're given than we took.
11:37Real sister, real brother.
11:39Write love in this open book.
11:41Write love in this open book.
11:44Write love in this open book.
11:46Write love in this open book.
11:50Yeah, life and living.
11:53All our lives in open book.
11:56Hopefully more positives given.
11:58Versus the things we've took.
12:02Sold in the balance.
12:04Need to sold good.
12:05Would make humanity better.
12:07A real sister and brotherhood.
12:13Life and living.
12:16All our days in open book.
12:19Pages stained with what we've given.
12:22And the things we took.
12:24Tiny choices turn to rivers.
12:27Shape the ground.
12:29Every whisper comes back as a louder sound.
12:35Oh, yeah.
12:36Oh, yeah.
12:36Sold in the balance.
12:37Sold in the balance.
12:38What you're gonna do?
12:39You can sold good.
12:40Let it grow through you.
12:42Lift one hand, then it lifts two.
12:44Make humanity better.
12:46That starts with you.
12:47Sold in the balance.
12:49Write the ending new.
12:50You can sold good.
12:51Let it grow through you.
12:53Real sister, real brother.
12:54Whole heart through.
12:56Make humanity better.
12:57That starts with you.
12:58Oh, yeah.
12:59See that stranger might be me on a different day.
13:03I can pray.
13:04See that anger.
13:06Just a hurt that lost its way.
13:09That one plan.
13:10Plan one kindness.
13:12Like a seed in winter ground.
13:14It feels like silence.
13:15It feels like silence.
13:18Oh, yeah.
13:18Still it blooms in circles around.
13:20All in the balance.
13:22What you've got is who you could.
13:24Who you so good.
13:25Let it grow through you.
13:27Lift one hand, then it lifts two.
13:29Make humanity better.
13:31That starts with you.
13:32Still it's all in the balance.
13:34Write the ending new.
13:35You can so good.
13:36Let it grow through you.
13:38Real sister, real brother.
13:39Whole heart through.
13:40Make humanity better.
13:42That starts with you.
13:43Oh, yeah.
13:43We don't need perfect.
13:45We need present.
13:46Little acts every second.
13:48That's the lesson.
13:49Hey!
13:49If love is the language, be the sentence.
13:51Turn regret into blessing, into blessing.
13:57Still it's all in the balance.
13:59What you gonna do?
14:00You can so good.
14:01Let it grow through you.
14:03Lift one hand, then it lifts two.
14:06Make humanity better.
14:07That starts with you.
14:09Still it's all in the balance.
14:10Write the ending new.
14:11You can so good.
14:12Let it grow through you.
14:14Real sister, real brother.
14:15Whole heart through.
14:17Make humanity better.
14:18That starts with you.
14:20Make humanity better.
14:21That starts with you.
14:27Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh.
15:04The Sunrise plays the barracks gray
15:08Another dawn, another day
15:11Boots on ground, miles away
15:14We just hope and we just pray
15:16Better say to not receive
15:20Hearts on sleeves, truly believe
15:23Wearing red so they're not alone
15:26Till every hero's coming home
15:29Red Friday, every week
15:32Red Friday, silence speak
15:35Friday for the brave
15:38Red Friday, souls to save
15:41Remember everyone devoid
15:44In every heart and every voice
15:47Remember everyone devoid
15:50Standing strong, we make this choice
16:00Put on this red shirt
16:02Same one as last week
16:05Coffee in a thermos
16:09The name's on my sleeve
16:12Yellow little photo
16:15Tucked into my phone
16:18They're waking up in desert
16:21I'm driving alone
16:24It's Red Friday
16:26I remember everyone devoid
16:28In a heartbeat
16:29Filling up a silent void
16:31From the cul-de-sac
16:32To the convoy
16:33From this small town
16:35To the sand
16:36Red Friday
16:38I wear you on my hands
16:44I wear you on my hands
16:44I wear you on my hands
16:46Ooh
16:49Flag on the storefront
16:51Tape to the glass
16:54Teachers in the hallway
16:57Letting the kids ask
17:01Letting the kids ask
17:02Mama at the mailbox
17:04Praying for good news
17:07Steam on the kitchen window
17:10Her eyes shining through
17:13It's Red Friday
17:15Red Friday
17:15I remember everyone devoid
17:17In a heartbeat
17:18Filling up a silent void
17:20From the cul-de-sac
17:21To the convoy
17:23From this small town
17:24To the sand
17:26Red Friday
17:27I wear you on my hands
17:35Ooh
17:51I can't lift your rucksack
17:53But I can lift your name
17:57I can't walk your footsteps
17:59But I can share the way
18:02So I'll stand here in skylight
18:06Till you all come home
18:09You are not forgotten
18:12You're never alone
18:15It's Red Friday
18:16I remember everyone devoid
18:19Red heartbeat
18:20Filling up a silent void
18:21From the cul-de-sac
18:23To the convoy
18:24From this small town
18:26To the sand
18:27Red Friday
18:29I wear you on my hands
18:31Cause I wear red
18:35Till you're back
18:36On this land
18:40Red Friday
18:47I remember where you stand
19:06Your letters mean everything out here
19:08We wear red every Friday for you
19:11It keeps us strong
19:14We remember everyone
19:26March 17th, the pub is packed
19:30Shamrocks on the wall, Leprechaun hats
19:34I raise my pint, the color's neon bright
19:40But my heart's still broken from last night
19:44There's a tear in my green beer
19:47Falling slow, crystal clear
19:50While the bagpipes wail and the crowd cheers loud
19:54I'm drowning sorrows in this emerald cloud
19:58Slow into the memories that won't disappear
20:03There's a tear in my green beer
20:10They both said goodbye with a shamrock kiss
20:16Left me with nothing but this empty bliss
20:21Everyone's dancing, singing loud
20:25I'm sitting here crying in the crowd
20:31Irish eyes were smiling once upon a time
20:35Now they're leaking like a busted line
20:39One more pint, maybe it'll mend
20:43Or maybe I'll just cry till the bitter end
20:45Other Irish eyes may be smiling
20:49As for mine, they're crying
20:55There's a tear in my green beer
20:58Falling slow, crystal clear
21:00Falling slow, crystal clear
21:00To the ones we loved and the ones we lost
21:03Raise your glass, no matter the cost
21:09Sointed to the heartache that brought us here
21:13There's a tear in my green beer
21:25Womanizing風中

21:54Let's go!
22:22Let's go!
22:31Let's go!
22:38One more margarita, let's go!
22:46Let's go!
22:47Card decline on extra cheese Split the building, broken Spanglish, please
22:53Lime went stuck on my front, tooth grin DJ yelling, Otavis, we spin
23:00I'll be broke tomorrow, that's tomorrow's me Tonight I'm rich in bad decisions, cheap ecstasy
23:08Passing around the plastic cup like it's made of gold Last round said three rounds ago
23:16Let's go!
23:17Cinco de Mayo, whack and roll Avocado prices got me in a hole
23:20Chips and salsa, tequila flow One more margarita, let's go!
23:24Let's go!
23:25Cinco de Mayo, whack and roll Calling sick, blend the coughing cold
23:29Salt on the rim, lose control One more margarita, let's go!
23:33Let's go!
23:37Let's go!
23:38One more margarita, let's go!
23:45One more margarita, let's go!
23:56One more margarita, let's go!
24:04One more margarita, let's go!
24:05One more margarita, let's go!
24:06Every time that tape starts spinning He'd shout out names like an intro Grin so wide, it'd fill
24:18the room Now the chair sits by the window But I swear I hear that tune
24:30Dad's up there leading the heavenly polka band
24:34Squeezing joy out of that squeeze box in his hands
24:38Angels twirl, halos tilt when they all start to stand
24:44Dad's up there leading the heavenly polka band
24:49They got a floor made out of starlight
24:52Clouds lined up like wooden pews
24:57Trumpets laughing into moonlight
25:01Every waltz a bit of news
25:06He's calling out for all partners
25:10Step in line, you're doing fine
25:15Heaven's never had a party
25:19Till his rhythm hit the sky
25:24Dad's up there leading the heavenly polka band
25:29Squeezing joy out of that squeeze box in his hands
25:33Angels twirl, halos tilt when they all start to stand
25:39Dad's up there leading the heavenly polka band
25:44On earth he signed those posters
25:48Packed the hall on Friday nights
25:52Now every star's a paper lantern
25:56Swinging gently in the lights
26:03Dad's up there leading the heavenly polka band
26:08Squeezing joy out of that squeeze box in his hands
26:11If you listen in the silence you'll hear them clap along and stand
26:16Dad's up there leading the heavenly polka band
26:24Rest well, polka king
26:26You are not forgotten
26:29You're still a thing
26:30Heard one of your tunes
26:32Heard one of your tunes
26:33On radio the other day sing
26:35You and Richie, your brothers
26:36Dancing in the hereafter
26:39Not done, just a new chapter
26:45Dad's up there leading the heavenly polka band
26:50Squeezing joy out of that squeeze box in his hands
26:53If you listen in the silence you'll hear them clap along and stand
26:57Dad's up there leading the heavenly polka band
27:18Tiny heart, tiny hands I can't see
27:24But I feel you there, you're already changing me
27:30The doctor's room humming
27:34The screen glowing soft white
27:37I hear more than numbers
27:40I hear a new life
27:43I'm unapologetically pro-life
27:47It's our duty to stand on this side
27:50For the least of these
27:52I will raise my voice high
27:56We hear their cries
27:58From down deep inside
28:00We hear their cries
28:04We keep them safe
28:07Keep them alive
28:21There's a world out here you haven't seen yet
28:25Sunday shoes, school shoes
28:28Puddles you ain't jumped in
28:31Laughter at the table
28:34Birthday candlelight
28:37Birthday candlelight
28:37All that in a whisper
28:40Hidden out of sight
28:43I'm unapologetically pro-life
28:46It's our duty to stand on this side
28:49For the most fragile
28:51I will lay down
28:55I will lay down my pride
28:55We hear their cries
28:57From down deep inside
29:00We hear their cries
29:04We keep them safe
29:07Keep them alive
29:11Keep them alive
29:14When they say you're just a choice
29:17I'll call you by your name
29:20When the world grows cold alive
29:23I will take the blame
29:26I'll be your defender
29:30I'll be your defender
29:31While you're small and quiet
29:33Love will be our answer
29:36Every single time
29:39I'm unapologetically pro-life
29:43It's our duty to stand on this side
29:46For the voiceless child
29:48I will testify
29:51I will testify
29:52We hear their cries
29:53From down deep inside
29:56We hear their cries
30:00We keep them safe
30:03Keep them alive
30:06We hear their cries
30:09We keep them safe
30:12Keep them alive
30:16We hear their cries
30:18We hear their cries
30:19It is our duty to protect
30:21The most vulnerable
30:23No more vulnerable
30:24Than child in the womb
30:26I am
30:27Without apologies
30:28Pro-life
30:29We hear their cries
30:31From down deep inside
30:34Keep them safe
30:37Show them they are loved
30:41I'm unapologetically pro-life
30:43It's our duty
30:45It's our duty
30:45To stand on this side
30:47For the voiceless child
30:49I will testify
30:53We hear their cries
30:56From down deep inside
30:59We hear their cries
31:02And we keep them safe
31:05Keep them alive
31:18Keep them alive
31:20Keep them alive
31:21Keep them alive
31:38Talking and joking, two clowns in one brain
31:42Every line a bad line and still I run the same game
31:47Jamaican me crazy, but I love this lane
31:52I read the wordplay, even when it's lame
31:57Jamaican me crazy with his pants, my man
31:59I read the judge, big, big fan
32:01If he make you groan, then he kind of just one
32:04Cause a lame little pants still a good, good one
32:06Jamaican me crazy with his pants again
32:09Laugh till we cry, then we start up again
32:11If he land off lap, we still havin' fun
32:14Cause a lame little pants still a good, good one
32:16Oh yeah, walk into the bar, say
32:18Bartender Ram, you say you had enough
32:20I say, I'm just begun
32:22Conny like the cornmeal, sweet like cocoa bread
32:24I put the joke on the plate, you put your palm on your head
32:27Who ready for a bad line?
32:28I read
32:29Who ready for a worse one still?
32:31Oh no
32:31If you groan, that's the punchline
32:33That's the whole big thrill
32:35We laugh at the fail, we rewind the run
32:37Cause the joke on the joke is the real, real fun
32:40Laugh, my man
32:41I read another joke, big, big fan
32:43If he make you groan, then he kind of just one
32:46Cause a lame little pants still a good, good one
32:48Jamaican me crazy with his pants again
32:51Laugh till we cry, then we start up again
32:53If he land off lap, we still havin' fun
32:56Cause a lame little pants still a good, good one
33:09Little keep a sense of humor
33:11Even a lame pun is a good one
33:13Talkin' and jokin'
33:15Sorry man, of that joke
33:17Some of big fans are making me crazy
33:19With all these lame pants
33:21Again I say that right, lots of fun
33:37You talk like every answer
33:40Has it come from you?
33:48Fill up every corner
33:50Like it's something to prove
33:56But love's not in the lecture
33:59It's in the space between
34:01And the way you let their silence
34:04Stay soft and unseen
34:07Let them breathe
34:10Let them be
34:13Let them wonder where you can't quite see
34:17We are truly free
34:20We can't get more than we get
34:23Just leave
34:25Let them breathe
34:28Let them breathe
34:40You wanna shape their story
34:43Guide every step
34:45Every turn
34:50But some roads must be lonely
34:53For the lessons to burn
34:59You don't have to fix the falling
35:02Or hold every key
35:04Sometimes the strongest kindness
35:07Is just to let them leave
35:11Let them breathe
35:12Let them breathe
35:15Let them wonder where you can't quite see
35:20We are truly free
35:22We can't get more than we get
35:26Just leave
35:27Let them breathe
35:30Let them breathe
35:37Open hands
35:39Open windows
35:42Watch them rise
35:44Watch them change
35:47Oh, you lose control
35:49Oh, you lose control
35:50Gain connection
35:52Gain connection
35:52When your love makes room
35:55For space
35:58For space
35:59Let them breathe
36:00Let them breathe
36:03Let them be
36:05Let them wonder where you can't quite see
36:07We are truly free
36:10When we can't give more than we get
36:14When we can't give more than we get
36:14Just leave
36:15Let them breathe
36:18Let them breathe
36:20Let them breathe
36:22Let them breathe
36:36But more importantly also allow others to be free to be themselves
36:41Do not be overbearing
36:42Let others breathe
36:45Let them be free to be what they want
36:48Or need to be
36:55Let them breathe
36:57Hey Maxine Scherzen
36:59Mediocre Max
37:01Welcome back to the D, baby
37:03Headed to see you go
37:05Now can't wait to see you out
37:07Cannot for you to bounce
37:10Wait to watch you pout
37:12Tiger's side gonna cheer and shout
37:15You stomp on the mound like a runway dancer
37:17All that glare in your stare still no answer
37:20Call you Mount Prancer, twirling in a tantrum
37:23Fans in the back row laughing at your fandom
37:25Three rings in your ears, but I see rust
37:28Grips all sweat, that slight I lost trust
37:30Every full count, hands start to tremble
37:33You peek at the scoreboard, see your own era assemble
37:36You bark, you curse, you flex, you pose
37:38But every big spot, that heartbeat shows
37:40We read your tales from the upper deck seats
37:43Same old wind up, same old defeat
37:45Maxine Scherzer, mediocre Max
37:48Big talk, small stats
37:50You stomp, you shout, then you collapse
37:53You just a Mount Prancer spinning this track
37:55Maxine Scherzer, crowd scream cap
37:58Every hot swing, echo when it cracks
38:00You ain't the monster they said you were
38:03You just a name on a worn-out shirt
38:06Hey, Mount Prancer in Toronto blue
38:09You sure ain't the guy we once knew
38:11V's Roar, wreck America's due
38:14May 15, 17, showdown, your air rig gonna brew
38:17Chirp like a blue jay, y'all so absurd
38:19You paste that dirt like the cameras all your favors
38:22Acting like a legend, living off the vapors
38:24Detroit bats grinning, they read this chapter
38:27Waiting for that hanger to float in after
38:29Toronto bats bringing nothing but laughter
38:32You spit, you snarl, try to sell that terror
38:34But your heat lost teeth, that's apparent in the errors
38:36You argue every call like the zones you're thrown
38:39But the ball left the yard that was straight up on
38:41They chant your name just to time their jizz
38:43Pray goodbye early in the fifth this year
38:46Old highlights play like a distant dream
38:48Right now you just fuel another team's meme
38:51Maxine Scherzer, mediocre Max
38:53Big talk, small stats
38:56You stomp, you shout, then you collapse
38:58You just a Mount Prancer, spin and distract
39:01Maxine Scherzer, crowd scream cap
39:03Every hot swing, echo when it cracks
39:06You ain't the monster they said you were
39:09You just a name on a worn-out shirt
39:12Toronto star, just a Keystone cop car
39:14Carnie PM, more like night-night circus clown
39:17Ontario Ford, oh the Lord, such a boy
39:19Y'all's play off hopes, nope on the ropes
39:21Your cellar dwell abound
39:22Think you're gonna throw a punch, but you're not a cellar drunk
39:25Your boat already sunk, you high in your own supply
39:27You're well already gon' dry
39:29Cry like a baby, you're not even maybe
39:31This moan bitch, you wind this track back
39:34But you've already been served the ultimate realness track
39:36This to purify your D-Rap, your stuff, whack crap
39:39Sorry, not Suri, you slow, we a Ferrari
39:41You can glare at the dugout, you can curse at the sky
39:44But those rockets in the gap tell a different kind of lie
39:46You can pound on your chest like the ace came back
39:49But the scoreboard keeps receipts on every swing you lack
39:51Maxine Scherzer, mediocre Max
39:54Big talk, small stats
39:56You stomp, you shout, then you collapse
39:59You just a Mount Prancer, spin and distract
40:02Maxine Scherzer, crowd scream cap
40:04Every heart swing, but when it cracks
40:07You ain't the monster, they said you were
40:09You just a name on the wall, now sure
40:13They can hate, they can play tough
40:15They can whine, but I'm showing up
40:16But the bars are making a statement
40:18I'm a J-Star, whoever you move, keep pouting
40:21I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star,
40:29I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star,
40:39I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star,
40:40I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star,
40:41I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star,
40:43I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star, I'm a J-Star,
40:46I'm a J-Star, I'm a J
40:50Kitchen counter, boots by the door
40:53It's 4am, kiss on the cheek
40:58Just text when you can
41:02You say, I'm okay
41:04Like you always do, we back the blues
41:08We stand beside you in the long dark nights
41:12You're driving through
41:13From the car that chills to the ones that save
41:16You run straight in when the rest stay away
41:20We back the blue
41:21And every first responder we're praying hard
41:24We've got you covered
41:26You hold that line, we're holding you
41:29Yeah, we back the blue
41:39Sirens cry on a small town highway
41:42Radio crackles, unit respond
41:46Fire in the sky, there's a family waiting
41:51You don't think twice
41:53You just carry on
41:58We back the blue
41:59We stand beside you in the long dark nights
42:03You're driving through
42:04From the car that chills to the ones that save
42:08You run straight in when the rest stay away
42:11We back the blue
42:12And every first responder we're praying hard
42:15We've got you covered
42:17You hold that line, we're holding you
42:20Yeah, we back the blue
42:36To the glass of madbag to turn out gear
42:40Every brave heart out there fighting fear
42:43When the world feels like it's coming unglued
42:49We see you, we need you, we love our L.E.O.s and our first responders
42:57Keeping us safe from the lawless that are bound
43:02We back the blue
43:03We back the blue
43:04We stand beside you in the long dark nights
43:07You're driving through
43:08From the car that chills to the ones that save
43:12You run straight in when the rest stay away
43:15We back the blue
43:16And every first responder we're praying hard
43:19We've got you covered
43:21We've got you covered
43:22You hold that line, we're holding you
43:24Yeah, we back the blue

44:14Every hurt into your hands
44:17I'm sending thoughts and prayers to heaven
44:20Over every broken heart
44:23Every family, every soldier
44:26Every shadow when they scar
44:29When this world crowns its pretenders
44:33I remember what they preached
44:36Our fathers wrote it down forever
44:39No kings, but King Jesus over me
44:43Jesus is King
44:47Jesus is King
44:50Jesus is King
44:53Old church steeple
44:57Cross still reaching past the sky
45:01Ancient promise
45:03Still the answer to our cries
45:08From the fields at Valley Forge
45:11To the pew while kneeling in
45:15Same confession on our lips
45:18Same hope that never ends
45:20I'm sending thoughts and prayers to heaven
45:24Over every broken heart
45:27Every neighbor, every stranger
45:30Every home that's torn apart
45:33When this world crowns its pretenders
45:37I remember what they preached
45:40Our fathers wrote it down forever
45:43No kings, but King Jesus over me
45:48Jesus is King
45:51Jesus is King
45:55Oh, you reign
45:58Our USA foundations
46:02Our Judeo-Christian beliefs
46:06And our Republic decree
46:08No King
46:13But King Jesus over me
46:28You call yourself a background face
46:31Standing in the corners of the place
46:34Laughing it off
46:35Guess I'm just plain Jane
46:40But I watch the way your eyes misbehave
46:45Beauty in the eye
46:47In the eye of the beholder
46:48I keep looking twice
46:50Every time I get closer
46:51From the shy
46:52Little smile that you're trying to mute
46:54To the way you light a room
46:56In that worn-out suit
46:57From I'm nothing special
46:59In your bedroom shoes
47:00Determinely cute
47:02In the way you move
47:03Oh, beauty in the eye
47:05In the eye of the beholder
47:07And I can't get over you
47:15Sunday sweats and hair up halfway
47:17Coffee on your lip
47:19You say you're a mess today
47:21Then you show up dressed in that midnight blue
47:27Elegant as if the world waits on you
47:31Beauty in the eye
47:33In the eye of the beholder
47:34Every time you turn
47:35Every page I read slower
47:37You're an intriguing cover
47:39On a quiet shelf
47:40But the words inside you rearrange myself
47:43From nervous and simple
47:45In your thrift store shoes
47:46To effortless grace
47:48When you slip in the room
47:49Oh, beauty in the eye
47:51In the eye of the beholder
47:52And all I see is you
47:59You say it's just angles
48:02It's just good life
48:06But I've seen you crying
48:08In the kitchen at night
48:12Bare face broken
48:14Still somehow
48:16Drop dead gorgeous
48:20Just in the here and now
48:23Beauty in the eye
48:24In the eye of the beholder
48:26Every shade of you
48:27Getting bolder and bolder
48:28From ordinary days
48:30Eating takeout food too
48:31The dresser makes the whole street
48:33Turn for you
48:34From I'm hard to love
48:36Whisper like it's true
48:37To a masterpiece
48:39That only grew
48:40Oh, beauty in the eye
48:42In the eye of the beholder
48:44And my eyes choose you
48:51Beauty in the eye of the beholder
48:57From plain Jane
48:59To terminally cute
49:00To elegant look
49:02To intriguing cover
49:03On the book to drop dead
49:06Gorgeous spectrum
49:08You called yourself plain
49:10As a paper plate
49:12Baggy hoodie hair
49:13In your face
49:15Chewed up nails
49:16Secondhand shoes
49:17Still laughing so loud
49:19They all look at you
49:20You think you blend in
49:22Fade in the hall
49:23But every tiny feckle
49:25Writes on the wall
49:28Beauty lives on a spectrum
49:30Of your face
49:31From just okay
49:32To I can't look away
49:34Every angle
49:35Every awkward phase
49:36All of it counts
49:38All of it stay
49:40From underneath cover
49:42To hearts
49:42In a flood
49:43Of your every shape
49:44From simple to a maze
49:46Beauty lives
49:47On a spectrum
49:48Of your fate
49:51Beauty lives
49:52Lost, gloss
49:53From of your fate
49:54Cherry on your tongue
49:55Ribbons in your room
49:57Then one day
49:58You walk in silk
50:00Neckline whisper
50:01Eyes like guilt
50:03They stare too long
50:05And you shift your weight
50:06Is this too much
50:07Or is this just late
50:11Beauty lives
50:12On a spectrum
50:13Of your face
50:14From kinda sweet
50:15To I can't look away
