03:30so you can get into rallycross

03:42because I'm quite a big

03:43and my mum

04:02because rallying
04:04isn't racing
04:05it's racing against the clock
04:06rallycross
04:07obviously does give you
04:08that bit of
04:10more of a competitive
04:11this was like
04:12four laps
04:13and you had to take
04:13a joker lap
04:14where you had to go
04:14slightly
04:15and you could choose
04:16which one
04:16yeah so rallycross
04:19they do this thing
04:20with a joker lap
04:21so the tracks have
04:23sort of an extended bit
04:24that you have to
04:26go round
04:27once
04:28but you get to choose
04:29which lap you do it
04:30so there's a sort of
04:31a tactical element
04:31involved which is
04:32kind of cool
04:34and
04:35yeah obviously
04:36you're racing against
04:36other drivers
04:37and you can play
04:39like a full rallycross
04:40which is with like
04:42qualifying rounds
04:44or you can just go
04:45straight into the
04:45to the final event
04:46which I really enjoyed
04:47and it was nice to play
04:49against
04:50you know
04:51AI
04:51and against cars
04:52be racing other cars
04:53and having that sort of
04:54more aggressive
04:56style
04:57yeah
04:58there's some lovely
04:59interiors as well
05:00it's a really
05:01unforgiving
05:01in terms of
05:02you know
05:03there's some nice car damage
05:04I was getting
05:04punctures left right and centre
05:06and we finished loads of races
05:07just on rims
05:08didn't we
05:08exactly
05:08you get right down to the rims
05:10the windscreen cracks
05:11which is quite nice
05:12when you're inside
05:14it's funny
05:15you play driving games
05:15you just take like
05:16an obscene amount of damage
05:17and keep going
05:18but not in this game
05:19no exactly
05:19and your co-driver
05:20talks about it as well
05:21which I really like
05:22at one point
05:22the oil light came on
05:25he was like
05:25the oil light to come on
05:26and he's just sort of
05:27saying that
05:27you can sort that out
05:28maybe
05:28just sort of like
05:29you know
05:29nothing bad's going to happen
05:30but you know
05:32do be aware
05:32you are doing damage
05:33to your engine
05:33so anyway
05:35that's a very brief look
05:36at new stuff
05:38that's coming to Dirt Rally
05:39when it comes out

05:41and certainly on this channel
05:42that's our first look
