00:00Two kingdoms at the crossroads of war, for peace in Hoshido, and the glory of Noor.
00:07At the epicenter of this conflict stands a young royal named Corrin.
00:11Will the prince side with the family that raised him in Noor, or his true bloodline in Hoshido?
00:16Whatever he decides, he may find that his home lies somewhere else entirely, somewhere beyond.
00:36With the people of Noor desperate for resources, and the nation of Hoshido under constant attack,
00:42one may wonder where Corrin's soldiers will linger between battles.
00:46The answer lies beyond space and time, in the astral plane.
00:52My castle, as Corrin calls it, is the home base of his army, located in a dimension separate from Hoshido
00:58and Noor.
01:00There is no safer fortress.
01:02Here, he can prepare for the next battle, interact with allies, and occasionally, defend it from unknown invaders.
01:13As Corrin and company battle and clear maps, they will accumulate dragon vein points,
01:21allowing them to build useful facilities around the castle.
01:24These include an armory,
01:28an arena,
01:30and an accessory shop,
01:32where items can be acquired that boost units' stats during battles in the My Castle area.
01:38Gardens yield ingredients for meals that boost stats temporarily,
01:42and statues are a source of more permanent stat enhancements.
01:47That'll come in handy during street pass encounters at a facility called Traveler's Plaza.
01:53Via street pass, Corrin can battle other warriors' teams at his castle, or theirs.
02:06When visiting foreign My Castle areas, he can also use gold to buy items from them.
02:12And if he speaks to a butler or maid, he can give an impression of his host's My Castle area.
02:20Khorrin can also exchange castle addresses with other warriors,
02:25so they can visit each other's My Castle areas via an internet connection.
02:31In a similar interaction we call multiplayer,
02:34two warriors can connect to play war games.
02:42But not all engagements must end in conflict.
02:46While parlaying,
02:48warriors will visit much like they would in street pass encounters,
02:51though additional DVP and resources may be available to Khorrin.
02:57In another world quite unlike Khorrin's,
03:00people collect mysteriously powerful figures called Amiibo.
03:04Some of these figures take on forms of legendary warriors,
03:08including the daring Prince Marge,
03:13his fated doppelganger Lucina,
03:16the enigmatic Robin,
03:19and Ike, famed leader of the Grail mercenaries.
03:23After tapping these amiibo figures, they will appear in Khorrin's castle.
03:28Twice they will appear bearing gifts.
03:31But on the third time,
03:32they will challenge Khorrin to a hero battle.
03:37Should he win,
03:39the hero will join his cause.
03:42Thus far, we've examined two sides of a brutal conflict.
03:47But what if Khorrin didn't choose a side?
03:50This third path,
03:51that of Revelation,
03:53illuminates many dark secrets.
03:54So Khorrin should only walk it after siding with one of the two kingdoms and seeing their story unfold.
04:02Silence!
04:04In addition,
04:05Dragon's Gate will soon host other maps to wage war on for a real world fee.
04:11Indeed, war comes at a cost, but the thrill of victory is priceless.
04:15No hard feelings.
04:17We've witnessed the battle at hand,
04:20met the star-crossed royals,
04:22and seen where armies gather.
04:24But for Khorrin, the real conflict rages within.
04:27Is it nobler to side with the fair lands of Hoshido,
04:31where his bloodline reigns supreme,
04:32or with the ravenous kingdom of Noor,
04:35where those who raised him hunger for conquest.
04:38It's a choice that can only be made on the front lines.
