Elon Musk said Tesla may complete the tape-out of its AI6 chip as early as December, using AI to accelerate the final design phase. Samsung will manufacture the chips on its 2nm process starting H2 2027 under a $16.5B deal, with the chips targeting Tesla's self-driving cars and humanoid robots in Taylor, Texas.
