00:14a U.S. official and three people familiar with the matter say there are three options.
00:19These include securing safe passage for oil tankers through the state of Hormuz,
00:23mainly through air and naval forces. But the sources say this could also mean
00:27deploying U.S. troops to Iran's shoreline. The Trump administration has also discussed
00:31options to send ground forces to Iran's Karg Island, the hub for 90% of Iran's oil exports.
00:37The White House official reiterates there has been no decision to send ground troops at this time,
00:42but says Trump is keeping all options at his disposal.
