00:00So my son was a really world-class athlete and January 17th of 2020, which
00:07mind you was an election year, he had a really serious brain injury. The
00:11president found out about it and he gave me a call immediately, didn't
00:14understand the severity of it, but he heard it in my voice and immediately he
00:16went to work. He called almost every day for two weeks checking on Jim and then
00:20he says I'm gonna come see him. The center told us that the short-term memory
00:24loss would something would trigger it, some big event would eventually trigger
00:26where he'd start retaining stuff. Until then he was still having issues. And the
00:31president arrived, for the next 15 minutes he did nothing but love on my son.
00:46That one incident jogged his memory and from then on he started retaining
00:51things and Jim's attitude went from this, you know, we're gonna get
00:56through it to this, I'm gonna get through it. When we got released a little bit the
00:59president said come to Mar-a-Lago and see me. We go down there and it was is
01:04amazing and when we're leaving, dang it I hate getting emotional. See if I talk
01:13about my kids I get emotional, other than that you can't make me cry. Anyways he
01:16grabbed my son and he said he said do you know why I love your dad? Do you know why

01:23because he loves you, because of you, because of you. Man, that's, that's, he
01:31didn't do it for any other reason. I mean here's the president of the United States
01:34and he did it just because he cared. We've been friends ever since. The
