00:00German giant Audi received a warm welcome to its first F1 race with huge
00:05crowds greeting the squad's young gun Gabriel Bottoletto at a city-central
00:09shopping center appearance ahead of the weekend.
00:15Bottoletto, who began his sophomore season of F1 in Australia and his first
00:19under the Audi banner, was amazed by the impressive local turnout despite his
00:24place at a mid-grid manufacturer team.
00:27We've got a very, very special guest.
00:30That's crazy. Thank you all for coming. I feel bad I cannot stop for everyone and
00:36take pictures. I've tried but they pushed me out. But yeah, a lot of love. Thank you
00:43very much for that and for the support before the weekend starts. It's very
00:47important for me and to see everyone here is great.
00:53Haas team principal Ayo Komatsu says he's not worried about American rival Cadillac stealing
00:59the media spotlight, with the F1 veteran stating that his squad exists to race, not to sell cars.
01:06Cadillac has made a huge splash on the global consciousness following its Super Bowl ad to launch its new car
01:12and huge media campaign to hype its place in the sport as a genuine start-up.
01:19But while Haas' star power as America's first team has somewhat faded amongst all the talk about Cadillac,
01:26Komatsu says the squad prefers to do its talking on the track where results matter.
01:33We are a race team, Komatsu said. We're not corporate. I don't really care about other teams' identities. I think
01:40we are very unique in who we are. We only exist to race.
01:48Red Bull always goes big on activations around the Australian Grand Prix and 2026 was no different, with the brand
01:55taking over Crown Casino's rooftop car park for its drift challenge.
02:01Red Bull Racing's Isaac Hadjar, Racing Bull's Liam Lawson and Red Bull Supercars driver Will Brown joined drift guru Mad
02:09Mike Widdett to tackle a course designed for sideways action.
02:14Widdett set the bar high before letting his protégés loose.
02:19Hadjar looked conservative and Brown went over the limit in parking.
02:24But Lawson was inch perfect and nailed the finish to take the trophy.
02:30Though he isn't planning on switching codes any time soon.
02:35Mike obviously being a drifter is number one. Maybe it's in New Zealand blood a little bit because I felt
02:41pretty good honestly.
02:44And yeah, just enjoyed it. Enjoyed it a lot.
02:48Up next, we check in with Arvid Lindblad.
02:52And wrap up the Australian Grand Prix.
02:55Parkvin, are you try?
02:55Rock 몸.ch
