00:36proprio prima del get-go, e abbiamo detto,
00:55è appena basato sull'ainno,
00:57quindi abbiamo perso di riproduzione
00:59che sia un grande stradale,
01:02piuttante,
01:03che fa...
01:05È un extraio, semplice,
01:07a slight hint of Egyptian.
01:09As we discussed further,
01:11that was there at the start
01:12and it's very slightly still there.
01:15But in total this has had six concept artists on it
01:18from start to finish
01:20because we had a very tight deadline.
01:23There's always a high amount of pressure
01:25because it's all exploratory basically.
01:29And I've got to give Chris
01:31some things to work with basically.
01:33So concept artists work in different ways.
01:37So I've kind of used that to my advantage.
01:39So initially we did a two week sprint
01:42coming up with just four very sort of different looks
01:46basically, different configurations, different styles,
01:50you know, vertical or horizontal or no cockpits,
01:55cockpits, all sorts of things.
01:57And then just presented it to Chris.
01:59Say, hey Chris, what do you, you know, what do you like?
02:01And so he's like, well, like bit of A, bit of B,
02:04which is fine because I kind of liked all the designs
02:07anyway, so it doesn't matter what Chris picks
02:09as long as, you know, I can get behind it.
02:11That's, you know, that's cool.
02:12In my head, I imagine it, you know,
02:13you'd be using a traditional sense, you know,
02:15you'd be flying into hostile zones, you know,
02:18maybe you'll have two or three of them.
02:19They'll come in, land, you know,
02:21it's the full sort of Blackhawk down treatment.
02:24Troops, troops jump out.
02:26And then the pilot and copilot just whizz off, off to safety.
02:29The emotional feel of it basically, you know,
02:32it should be just like, heck, you know,
02:34what's this flying in?
02:35It's been more dealing with shape language,
02:39the cut of the lines, you know, it's quite minimalist.
02:43So the lines are there for a reason generally.
02:46I've been calling it like a radar deflection kind of material.
02:49So it's kind of like a bird's nest.
02:51It kind of feeds into the whole avian feel of the ship.
02:56And then the interior we've gone quite different
02:58to what we've been doing for the human ships.
03:00It's basically quite oppressive.
03:03It's like this dark red and it's all dark red.
03:06I was sort of thinking at the time, you know, basically,
03:09when you see the troops come out,
03:11if they come out of this exit,
03:12because there's multiple exits, right?
03:13You know, it's coming out of the mouth of hell basically.
03:16So it's just got this dark red
03:18and they've got this oppressive black hole kind of thing.
03:23And then as you make your way through to the cockpit,
03:25the red slowly fades off essentially
03:27and it goes more towards blacks and greys
03:30with just a hint of red.
03:32Just so for pilots, there's less distraction.
03:34And we've kind of just been featuring
03:35like a sort of three line sort of motif,
03:38which we took from the character design that Josh did.
03:42And that has fed into the ship basically
03:44in lots of subtle ways.
03:46There's a heavy avian feel with the ship,
03:47some in subtle ways, some not so subtle.
03:50Fans will see straight away that it's essentially,
03:53it's got some large VTOLs basically.
03:56and in landed mode, you know, it's a real hunched, aggressive.
03:59It's a bird of prey, you know, it's classic basically.
04:03And then it also has like a special ability, special feature,
04:07whatever you want to call it.
04:08Obviously these defensive blades that come out,
04:11but yet to still fully realize, you know,
04:15the sort of theory behind it all, you know, in terms of law.
04:17But certainly, you know, it helps with flight, low manoeuvrability,
04:23but also when it comes in to land, VTOLs go down,
04:25all the blades pop out, which people may call feathers,
04:28but I call them blades.
04:30And they provide like a defensive position.
04:32So when the troops come out and they, you know,
04:37that again, you've just got these huge doors that open up
04:40and rather than just one large, you know, single sliding door,
04:45which often these ships have,
04:47we've got four individual essentially gates
04:49and those have Tavar and shield tech in them.
04:53So it's kind of like the eyedress in the hangar,
04:56you know, you fly out and you go through the force field.
04:58This is like a personal version and that's kind of one of the visual hooks of the ship.
05:04So the ship could be flying along with all its armoured doors up,
05:08but it's still got its energy shields there.
05:10So the troops can, you know, you'll be able to look out.
05:13This is what I hope, right?
05:14And you'll be there in your harness and you're just looking out
05:16and you're just seeing the landscape go by or whatever it is.
05:19The other two visual features, avian features,
05:22we've got a split tail, so it's like a swallow tail.
05:24And then the head, the head is obviously very sort of eagle like.
05:27And this time we've been, you know, we've been able to essentially remove the cockpit.
05:31There's a head to this thing, but there's no, it's essentially one way glass.
05:35So you can't see in, but you can see out, the pilot can see out.
05:39So it gives us this really nice monolithic kind of armoured feel.
05:42And again, lending to that whole sort of Tavar and warrior, hardcore, henuism.
05:48And so we've just been building on that.
05:51I think as players, they'll really dig it.
05:53And I mean, there's nothing like it in the Star Citizen universe at the moment.
05:57So, I'll take a but for the pair, I haven't made it.
05:59I'm going to show you how to create a beautiful p warmer.
05:59My company isn't going to think that's about the on-p Online Dinner,
06:00but you're just giving a refresher around the exchanging side of your car.
06:00So, you're just едener.
