00:22that I'll be unboxing today
00:24with the aid of the ruggedly handsome Studio Art Director, JB.
00:29Thank you, hi everybody, this is really exciting, I've been waiting for this for six years.
00:34Six years, how does it feel to finally see that box there now?
00:37It's kind of scary opening this, it's been so long and we've been looking so much forward to this,
00:42so let's get started.
00:43Let's see what's inside.
00:44So the first thing we find in the Collector's Edition is this beautiful steelbook that has
00:50the game as well as a bunch of PSN voucher codes.
00:54So for the steel case we want to do a different cover.
00:57The normal game has Aloy and she's juxtaposed against the size of the Thunderjaw and the
01:02Thunderjaw is really massive.
01:03So for this one basically we want to do something that puts more emphasis on Aloy.
01:07So yeah, we've taken some inspiration from 1980s movie posters like the cool posters that
01:12they used to make for Indiana Jones and Star Wars and wanted to do something that's a little
01:15bit more hand drawn and a little bit more stylized.
01:18And here you can see the voucher codes that actually includes a couple of outfits, a couple
01:24of weapons and three resource packs as well.
01:27So let's see what else is in the box.
01:29And here we find this wonderful book, The Art of Horizon Zero Dawn.
01:36This is done by Dark Horse by the way.
01:39Wow, so what do we pick for this JB?
01:41So it's a book, it's got 48 pages in it.
01:45It has pictures of Aloy, of various of the tribes, all the different locations in the game.
01:49And it's a great little book that gives you a nice view of the complexity of our world.
01:54All right, let's see what else is in here.
01:57There we go.
01:59So inside the box, our mystery box, is another box.
02:03And inside the box is yet another.
02:06All right, and then we get to the most wonderful part of this collector's edition and that is
02:13this marvelous 9-inch statue of Aloy by Gentle Giant.
02:19And just look at this incredible piece, JB.
02:21It's a gorgeous piece.
02:22And we've worked with Gentle Giant using the actual original models from the game to get as
02:27accurately as possible in making the statue.
02:30It's turned out incredibly nice.
02:32And of course, because the robots are so important, we put it on top of a watcher.
02:36So this is also basically actually made from our own in-game models at the highest resolution.
02:41As you can see, it's really wonderful.
02:42And look at these incredible details here.
02:45We actually have individual arrows that we can place in here so she can reload, have additional
02:51ammo.
02:52And let's give her a center stage right between the steelbook and the artbook.
02:56Because she is, of course, the heart and soul of Verizon Zero Dawn.
